I have these two speakers on the same network but cannot seem to make a stereo pairing with them.... both are switched on. What's happening?
Does Beam Gen 1 work with Sub Mini?
Hi I would like to use my pair of one sl speakers as pc speakers. What should I do?
How do I change the WiFi signal my Sonos is connected to? I can see in settings what it is connected to, but can't see how to change it, or search for an alternative? Thanks
Hi all Can you please advise me on how to connect the Beocenter 2300 so that the output sound is via the 2 x Sonos Five set up as stereo pair?Thank you in advance
Does it really make a significant enough difference to add a second Sonos sub instead of just having a single sub? I’ve heard conflicting comments from hi-fi oriented friends posting here to get the viewpoint of those most experienced.
Hello, After adding a device, I have one particular zone that keeps dropping out of the group. I saw on this forum, splitting one group into multiple may help. It did not. Not even after 5 minutes of playing music. I’ve tried different playlist, resetting the device, redownloading the app, changing the line outputs, connecting to a ethernet cable versus wirelessly to an access point. is it possible this device is defective or bad?
I have 2x one’s, beam (gen 1) and a move (gen1) can I group ( not pair ) a Era 100also would a connect (gen 2) improve my sound quality?
Ciao Community!
Hello. Has anyone already use the website isonatec.com to repair a sonos speaker ? Thanks for your opinion….
I can play music on my Sonos Five from my iPhone, but not from my computer, even though they are both on the same WiFi network. Why? Moderator edit: changed HiFi to WiFi
I have a Sonos Play 1 which is missing resistor R526 from the main board (don’t ask!) I need to know the value of his single resistor to restore the speaker to working condition, which I’d very much like to do. Does anyone at Sonos have access to the schematics? (Someone must have!) If so, determining the correct value of this resistor should be an easy task, and would not violate any trade secrets. Alternatively, does anyone have a main board on which they could use an ohm meter to actually measure the value in circuit? Any help with my mission would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
Listening happily to Paradise on new Sonos 5. Picked up phone to see who that last song was by and the speaker had gone (but still playing). Both speaker and phone in same room. Really can't bear the thought of yet another IT faff with all that rebooting business. Going next door to my trusty Quad / KEF setup. Why do these things just go? Everything else in the house fine.
Hello. Looking for some advice regarding travelling with Sonos speakers and adjusting network settings versus just getting a Move with the current 30% discount.I'm planning a long weekend away with a big group of 20+ to a rural cottage in the UK.I thought I could take a pair of Era 300s with me and play music with bluetooth connected to my phone - Plex and access to my library / playlists on my NAS at home.I've never used the Era's bluetooth before or taken the speakers outside of my network - I thought you just needed to set up speakers initially on your home network before using bluetooth. I hoped the Eras would work as 'dumb' bluetooth speakers when used outside of your home network, like the Roam does. But reading into this I'm not sure if this is the case.Is it possible to use Era 300 in bluetooth 'offline' or away from your network? Could they be stereo-paired?If not, I was thinking of buying a cheap travel router and using the same network SSID I have at home. I would then plug
access to sonos app, but can't login and my device wants me to login with this email
What is the maximum pivot angle of these speakers? I have searched extensively and cannot find any info on this fairly important spec.
I want to use a, era 300 or play 5 in a kitchen cupboard on the top shelf with the doors open, would it be wasted as such? I’d welcome any feedback from yourselves...
This is a continuation on the threadwhich has been closed for comments. Whence a new thread. An update: I started to get drops from my Play 3 pair again tonight. .This means that the firmware update did not help. I have not noticed any of these drops in my Sonos Five pair yet. (Recall that I swapped rooms for these pairs, to test the hypothesis that the different usage profiles could matter.) This is promising.Seems like I’m in for buying an ERA 300 pair, but it may take some time I come around to it. (It’s a bit of work to get them in place, since I want to mount them on the wall.)
Hi, I have Samsung Qled QN88C 75 inch TV and own sonos amp with 4 ceiling speakers. I connect amp with TV using HDMI arc port and 4 ceiling speakers does work fine. But it stops the TV audio completely. Is there any way I can have audio output from TV & 4 ceiling speakers simultaneously.I can’t find anything in settings. Can optical connection make it work? thanks
Will the ERA 300 and Move speakers work nicely together in a single room ?
I switched my home internet provider a couple months ago from Xfinity cable to Verizon Fios and my system has not been able to remain connected since then. I’ve researched every Fios-related help article here and have had multiple support calls with Sonos and have exhausted their ability to help me. The interesting aspect is I can reset my system (two amps on cat5 cables connected from an ethernet switch and about eight wireless Sonos devices) by turning off and then back on the power to the wired amps. Once the power is turned off and then back on to those wired amps, the system comes right back up but will only remain up for a couple hours and then I lose it again. So, the system does work when it is reset but then loses access … so it seems to clearly have something to do with the internet/wifi/router access.I’ve tried changing every setting in my Verizon router’s settings that I think could be related or have been advised to switch/disable, including turning off the SON (self-organ
I am upgrading my Sonos One stereo pair to a pair of Era 100s. I currently point my Sonos ones slightly towards the center listening area (i.e. slightly in towards one another). Should I do the same with the Era 100s or have them facing directly straight out into the room? I couldn’t find any guidance on this in the user guide. Thanks in advance!
I was able to connect an additional Sonos Move Cannot connect my One SL to the system
I have a problem with my pair of Era 300. When I play music through Spotify or through Spotify via AirPlay, the music plays for a while and then shuts off, even though my phone or PC shows that it is playing. I've tried unplugging the speakers, closing the Spotify app, or switching from AirPlay, but the same thing keeps happening. Anyone have a similar problem?
I control Sonos devices on my iPhone/Sonos App. I have lost connection with all my Sonos devices. Even 2 Connect Amps ethernet wired to my router. Devices do still show up in the System Info page. Shown as ‘not connected’. I have gone through the power off routines on the Sonos devices and the router (several times). I have deleted and re installed the Sonos App. I had an energy Smart Meter installed a couple of days ago. Sonos was fine before the Smart Meter. This is the first time I have used the Sonos after fitting the Smart Meter. A coincidence? Or could the Smart Meter interfere with the Sonos/wifi signal?
