Hi I’ve had my Sonos speaker connected to my wifi and app for over 3 years. A few weeks ago my speaker disconnected from the app, I’ve constantly been trying to connect by device back up to the app but having no luck and it’s not being detected. I’ve tried up plugging the device, restarting it, unplugging and resetting the wifi. The thing I most recently tried was deleting the app and redownloading it, my device did show as already connected to my wifi, however still then asked me to add speaker. I then tried to delete my device off my wifi however the ‘System settings’ button won’t work to allow me to do this. Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix?
I’ve reached a point where I am about to throw my Play One through a wall. I use a mesh system and was having issues with Double Nat which I resolved. Then I enabled the bridge in my modem/router and they clean up a few other issues and now the only speaker that will not connect is my Play One. My other older speaker Play 3 connects without an issue. When I attempt to connect the Play One I will make to the chime step but the speaker will not chime. It will then tell me to hold the button where the light is flashing and still nothing. I spent an hour online with a service tech to no avail. He escalated my issue and gave me a ticket number and a number to call which I have not done yet. I am getting to the point where I am not sure Sonos Speakers for all their value are worth the frustration because they are so temperamental. I have done everything, turn on and turn off, unplug and plug back in, turn router off, turn router back on, plug into ethernet...on and on and on…..
Hi everybody,I need you're help.I explain. I want to make 2 era 100 for home cinéma and stéréo ?How I can do it ?
We just moved to a new home and took with us an older model Sonos Subwoofer. We also installed a new Arc soundbar, which paired with a new TV works beautifully. However, multiple attempts to pair the subwoofer with the Arc have failed (even the Best Buy Geek Squad could not fix).Symptoms:Numerous times the subwoofer would not join the Sonos network (Note: our in-house wifi at the sub’s location is very strong). On several occasions the sub was rebooted and did join the Sonos network. Yet, on these occasions once joined and app indicating that it paired successfully, no sound was produced by the sub and in the app it indicated as “not connected”.NOTE 1: This is an older sub with the following numbers on its base:1508 ****************NOTE 2: Several attempts were made to properly reboot the sub, i.e. as in unplugging the sub and then pressing the button on its side while plugging into the electrical socket again.Still no success:Any suggestions would be appreciated. I moved from one apartment to another in the same complex. First apartment, sonos connected to Play 1, Playbar, and Sub as well as Roam. New apartment can’t find anything except the Roam. Same internet provider (Xfinity). Same kind of router. Tried. Rebooting the router, unplugging the speakers and plugging back in. Nothing seems to work. Any thoughts?
I have owned this speaker for years and have been trying to hook this up. I was successful a few years ago. Then i got a new phone and have not been able to connect back since. What do i do?
This speaker has given me nothing but trouble since day one. And it pisses me off because The issue I’m facing with it could be fixed by them having put in one of the most absolute bare minimum basic features for any wireless speaker. Which is Bluetooth. this thing refuses to remain connected to the Wi-Fi. It will connect, it will stay connected for a little while. And then after like a day or two it will disconnect from the Wi-Fi and refuse to reconnect unless the Wi-Fi router is completely rebooted. Would not be an issue at all. IF THIS 600$ WIRELESS SPEAKER HAD BLUETOOTH LIKE EVERY OTHER WIRELESS SPEAKER. Like they added a line in aux connection, which objectively has worst audio quality than Bluetooth due to the connection being prone to causing mild feedback hiss at louder volumes. But not Bluetooth??? AND EVEN THEN YOU CAN’T USE THE LINE IN CONNECTION, UNLESS IT’S CONNECTED TO WI-FI SO YOU CAN SWITCH IT OVER TO THE LINE IN CONNECTION. THIS THING IS COMPLETELY BRICKED AND USELESS
After a long period without using my Sonos main room configuration I am now attempting to reconnect the 2 x Play 1 plus Sub but what was an extremely easy plug n play setup years ago seems to have become more complex and less intuitive. If someone can assist I would appreciate it massively!
Why the volume stay only at fifteen ? And how can i risolve?
i’ve one Era 100 connected to my DAP via wifi.if i set up another Era 100, can i stereo pair them via wifi, without resorting to bluetooth?

Hi, bought a Symfonisk Booshelf today. Wanted to add it to the excisting Sonos Network with a Symfonisk lamp and a One. It doesn’t want to.The speakers I had are in the list, the Symfonisk bookshelf is found. When adding I go through the works and when it comes to adding the speaker to the account the error pops up. “Not able to register bookshelf” when i press SOLVE it takes me to the motion of pressing some buttons but still it is not added.Does anyone have a clue how I can fix this? After a few hours I am still flabbergasted. ps. When using Spotify the speaker is found and I can stream to it. ppss Yes I did a factory reset about 7 times ;)
How do I adjust the status of the top light to switch it off permanently? It looks like there isn’t an option in the app.
Alarms. I’ve moved house and in this time the new Sonos app has launched and alarms aren’t working for me. At first I thought it was because I was selecting a radio station but I changed it to Chime and still nothing. Something so simple to do before is now that working at all!!! I read something about a bug and Sonos is on a different time zone. Is this the issue?
I just purchased a Sonos Era 300 and im trying to connect it to the desktop app. On the desktop app it says to hit the pairing button buy the Era 300 doesn't have one that I can see. What am I doing wrong?
I try to add Era100 and ask me to sign out then sign back. IT DOES NOT WORK.
Just set up an Era 300 wall mounted using the Sonos Era 300 bracket inverted. The sound is just flat the EQ setting make no difference to the sound at all. Loudness on or off there’s no difference in bass, treble + or - bass + or - doesn’t change the sound level? Not impressed just upgrade from a play 5 Gen 1 and the quality of sound was so much better from a 8 year old speaker! Is there something set up wise I’ve done wrong? Thanks in advance.
Since I updated to the most recent Sonos app I have 2 out of my e play 1 speakers that I can not get connected.
I can not switch between tv and music any more, the new update is a desaster. I am selling Sonos in my shop and i am ashamed to demonstrate the products because its not working like it suposed to. Which i**** approved this st**** update? Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.
I have a Sonos system of various speakers around the house. The system was working alright, no drop outs, songs skipping on their own, the app was relatively responsive. Only issue would be a delay between the speakers when starting playback, but this was minor.I replaced my old wireless mesh router system (Linksys) with a new one (ASUS) with the same SSID set up to try to get stronger signal and better performance. However, ever since the Sonos system has been a mess. It won’t connect to some speakers occasionally, playback skips songs on its own, stops randomly on some speakers, and the app is very unresponsive. It’s almost unusable.I’ve tried common troubleshooting like factory resetting all speakers individually (took forever), binding speakers to specific nodes, rebooting the routers, rebooting Sonos, changing channels and other router settings (qos off, airtime fairness off, power saving options off), binding all speakers to a dedicated IP, and reinstalling the Sonos app. No impr
My sub all of a sudden stopped working and now the system can’t find it
I recently switched over from Bose Soundlink Mini to Sonos Roam 2. I did this primarily to sync my new speaker to my homes Wifi system, along with the ability to pair more speakers in the future. I could not get my speaker to show up on my home Wifi system. I contacted Live Chat I they helped me get my speaker setup, but could not get the speaker to show up on my Spectrum Wifi system. Through some diagnostic research. it had been determine that my Spectrum Router was non compatible with the Sonos software. Consequently Sonos software does not support any Spectrum or Charter routers. The Live Chat technician said the software developers have not fixed the incompatibility issues. Out here in Winfield, Mo, we don’t have much to choose from Cable carriers. I would have liked to invested in a whole house speaker system, but the Sonos software developers have not made that possible for me. I am very disappointed to find this out after I had purchased the speaker. I love the speaker, but I
I just purchased and did initial setup of my first Sonos speakers 🎶 They worked, but then some of the products started not showing up in System. I reached out to support and it’s the known router issue (SAX1V1S). a few questions…They speakers are all currently displaying in my system. will they continue to randomly drop off? (the more important question)… I’m nervous about getting a router and connecting it to the current spectrum modem and having it work with Spectrum, and with Sonos. Can anyone recommend one they’ve gotten that has been successful, and can you share your process with the setup?Thank you!
My Sonos has been working fine , then Friday, it dropped all products from the system, and after repeated attempts to factory reset, reset routers, attempt to reconnect to the network…blah blah blah, I will not show up as a working system again. I’ve had sonos since it became a thing, and this is really the FIRST problem Ive had. Thanks !
Gen 3 sub showing up on app as “not connected”. New arc connected and working fine. Wi-Fi on the arc is enabled. Both sub and arc are on the correct wireless network. Wi-Fi enabled on sub. I have factory reset everything multiple times and followed the steps all the way through successfully on both the arc and sub. Following the completion of the steps, Arc works fine and sub remains to show up on the app as ”not connected”
