my sonos system consists of 2 Roams and a Move all in different rooms of my house. I have a Deco mesh wifi system consisting of my main router and a mesh pod upstairs, they each provide full coverage for my entire home (home size is 3600 sq feet).  My sonos system rarely is always functioning at the same time, one, two or all three speakers are usually not on the network. when i turn them all off, turn them all on, reset the router sonos rarely if ever connects all the speakers. the speakers magically just appear and start working again after an hour or two and them disconnect randomly so i have reset them all and redo the router. it’s very frustrating. i ordered a Sonos blast to see if that will help. If it doesn’t i’m giving up on Sonos and switching to something more reliable for my home stereo. I would like to know if the era 100 IS still really good with a Android système instead of a iOS système?

Hi, I have a studio downstairs that I rent out and would like to connect a Sonos One to the guest wifinetwork that I use for the studio. It is on the same router, but has a different name and password.So far I have managed to get out of the Sonos app via app reset. My phone is on the guestnetwork. I add the Sonos box (I do see all Sonos boxes in the house still thought) and all seems to go fine till the last step when I get a message that the system is not able to connect to the wifi.Anyone suggestions?   

I think the title says it all, the Epson has a BT facility and I would like to connect to the Play 5 gen 1 via BT, can it be done?I have this set up in my garden room gym, I have ATV HDR10 for running Zwift (cycling app) through the projector and only use the Sonos for playing music via my Iphone to the Sonos play 5. With the play offs looming I would like to watch the match on the projector and hopefully have the audio via the Sonos play 5. I did a search on the projector for BT devices and nothing showed, is there a method for putting the sonos into pairing mode?The Sonos is second hand and a few years old but work perfectly and good enough for what I need. If all else fails I can watch the match via the projector and have the commentary via the radio😁

My Sonos system currently consists of: 1 Ray, 4 Play 1,s, & 1 Roam. I also use Sonos net via a Sonos Boost. All speakers are connected to the network wirelessly. I do not have WiFi 6. I would like to add 2 Era 100,s to use as rears for the Ray. Is this a simple plug-in and play addition to my current setup, as it is? Or do I have to disable the Boost? As I’ve read that the Era’s do not connect to a Boost. Also is my lack of WiFi 6 going to be an issue? I welcome any advice the community may be able to offer, many thanks. 

OK, so I just installed an Ubiquity Unifi network in my home and am blocking traffic to Russia, China and various other places/apps.  Today I noticed my Sonos Boost was trying to connect to 82.142.168.18 which is in Russia.  Obviously it could not connect but concerned that it is doing this.Anybody know why my boost would need to reach out to Russia??  Not very comfortable with the fact that it is attempting to communicate there.fyi I live in the US which is why I ask.IP lookup came up with this info: _____________________________Decimal:1385080850Hostname:82.142.168.18ASN:3216ISP:PJSC VimpelcomServices:None detectedAssignment:Likely Static IPCountry:Russian FederationState/Region:MoskvaCity:Moscow_____________________________Thank you in advance,Jeff

Why everything Sonos releases a new product they NEVER produce enough of the stands. There is a shortage every single time. This is getting really tiresome.

I was just curious, as I am shopping, if the Era 300 is the latest and greatest, it seems weird that it is less expensive than the Five speaker. Is there a place to compare them? Is it just because the focus is on Spatial on the 300 where the Five is used better for straight up stereo? 

I understand Dolby ATMOS music from Apple Music can only be played on a pair of Era 300s through the Sonos2 app. Sending the signal from the Apple Music app on an iPhone to the Era 300s via AirPlay loses the ATMOS. On a Beam2 it can also be played directly through the Apple Music app provided it passes through an AppleTV that is connected with the Beam2 through a HDMI cable. Is that understanding correct?My other question is how this operates if the Beam2 and the Era 300s are grouped together. Will the ATMOS signal be passed from the Beam2 to the Era 300s? Or do the Era 300s receive their signal from the AppleTV through AirPlay (which I understand does not carry the ATMOS signal)?Thanks for your guidance, Ben

If I add a era speaker to my existing Sonos set up can I control the whole system via Bluetooth on the era speaker 

Hi. I’ve got an offer to buy a Sonos Five (gen 1) pretty cheap. I’ve already got a Beam (gen 2) hooked up to my TV. My question is wether or not a Five (gen 1) will be able to connect to a Beam (gen 2)? I’ve only got music streaming and vinyl in mind as I’m expecting to buy a pair of Sonos Ones as satellites for the Beam eventually.Any advice is appreciated :)

I upgraded the living room Sonos ones to the era 100. It definitely much sounds better in that room. I was looking for more room filling sound and they just sound quite a bit better in a room that size. Music only with beam and sub. The entire room now sounds phenomenal. My living room always sounded a little bit thin even with full mode and upping the surrounds. Mid-range and bass both sound better. Got rid of my play 3s when they kept losing connection even with boost and tech support, and switched to the newer ones. The era 100s both sound better and really fills the whole room with music. Fives would not perform well at lower volume plus shared walls can't blast out my neighbor. I won't be upgrading the ones with beam and sub in my bedroom. So worth it for a bigger room.

Ok so this might be a really bad idea.  I have a room that i use only for music currently I have 2 era 100’s and a sub mini it sounds great. I was thinking it would sound even better if I added a single 300 to the set up. I know I can’t pair it to the 100’s but could I just add it as its own thing and turn them all on at the same time and have a fully immersive experience or is that just a bad idea? 

Hi, I currently have three Gen 1 Play 5s.To connect them to the Internet I need to have one hardwired to the router. The other 2 then connect via WiFi.If I was to upgrade to two Era 300s and an Arc soundbar, do I still need one unit hardwired?Or will all three work from WiFi.  Thanks. 

Recently purchased the Sub (Gen 3) and noticed that the plastic at the top of the sub seems to stick out on one side.  Is this a common quality problem?  

I discovered today Apple Music Atmos music tracks downgrade to non-Atmos when at least one non-Amos speaker or set is added to the playing group.The tracks John Coltrane's Blue Train played in Atmos when grouping an Arc + Era 300 surround set, Era 300 stereo pair, and Beam Gen 2 + Sonos One surround set.When I then grouped a Sonos One stereo pair the music dropped very briefly, the Atmos logo disappeared from the Sonos app Now Playing screen, and the music resumed in stereo. The difference was definitely audible and a downgrade.It's disappointing to have to downgrade to the lowest common denominator if I want to have music playing throughout my home.I'm going to read through the iTunes Package Format documentation, not sure if it will provide any insight. What's weird to me is Atmos music will play in my Beam Gen 2 + Sonos One surround set, which includes two non-Atmos speakers. This gives me some fleeting hope Sonos may be able to address this limitation via a software update.Have oth

I’m new to the Sonos system and so far have only the Arc and 2 Era 100’s. In terms of listening to music would it be best to set up the Era 100’s as a part of the Arc as surrounds, or just set them up as a stereo pair? They will still be in the same room, but I would name them differently, so that I get the stereo sound from those two speakers? I don’t have the sub yet ($$). Would having this change the answer to this question?

Elle reconnaît bien ma voix et me réponse "voici une playlist pour enfant" et puis rien et ce peu importe la demande de musique que je demande.Elle fait comme si elle lançait la musique mais pas de son....  J ai tout remis comme usine puis refait toute l installation. I have an Audio Technica 120-USB turntable with its own pre-amp that I would like to connect to either a Sonos 5 stereo pair or Sonos Era 100 through the new USB-C connection. Can I connect the turntable to the Sonos 5 or Sonos Era 100 on the left side and have it play in stereo with the matching speaker on the right side of my bookcase.  Also, will the turntable sound, once connected to a Sonos Speaker be listenable by streaming to my Sonos Arc in my other main room? Assuming the turntable is connected on the left side speaker, can I then connect a CD changer to the matching Sonos speaker on the right side through the direct USB-C input and if so, will the CDs play in stereo through both speakers.  Therefore, when I turn on the CD player, will the Sonos speakers in the room recognize the unit and play, and then, when I turn on the turntable in stead, will the same speakers recognize the turntable through the connection.  Will the CD player connection also stream to my Sonos Arc in my

Replace my Sonos Gen one ( pair) with a pair of Era 100. Really pleased with the new speakers. Worth the upgrade in my opinion. The setup was not straightforward. Initially used my phone to set up the first speaker only to have an error message ‘ another App using airplay’ Could not work that out so I used my iPad. All went OK.  There was an issue with Alexa in that I couldn’t get Alexa to work with the new speakers. Seems that was my fault for trying to add the new speakers with the same room name I used on the Sonos ones. Changed the room name and all was well.  Overall I am impressed with the pair of Era 100. They sound terrific as a stereo pair.

I have a pair of Era 300s in my bedroom. While there is an option in the app to turn off the main indicator light, the only way to turn off the microphone (voice services) indicator light is to turn off the microphone.Given that even dim lights can be annoying when sleeping (and the latest research suggest dark bedrooms are preferable), it would be good to be able to turn off the light via the app but keep the microphone on.
