If I have one single line in source (let’s call it a record player), and 5 Connect:Amps.I’d like the single line in signal to be used by all the Connect:Amps so can be heard in all rooms simultaneously. For what it’s worth, all the Connect:Amps are in the same location.I feel this is probably going to be either straightforward or not possible? Thank you!
It’s getting “better” and “better” with every update, now iTunes compilations are multiplying and no content can be played when selecting them. And some artwork is still missing, although it loads a little bit faster at least. This app and company is a joke, seriously. I just went back after a few month to see whether it works now, and it doesn’t. Worse, now the apps from the iPhone are no longer reliable to even play ANY music...
I've had The Frame (2019) TV [QE55LS03RAUXXC] for a couple of years now, and I'm planning to buy the Sonos Arc. Will these two work together? I've read a lot about connectivity issues (such as sound cuts) related to the HDMI eARC function on newer versions of The Frame. However, since my version only supports HDMI ARC (not eARC), will I still experience those sound issues?
Since the app update the ‘continue listening’ section within the BBC Sounds music service doesn’t work - whenever a title is selected it just starts from the beginning. Is this likely to be fixed anytime soon, because it’s really annoying?
Hi, I have just purchased an Arc and a Sub and have a couple of questions.Does Sonos products work without an internet connection? What data is sent out by my Sonos equipment (and to who/where does it end up)For security reasons I switch off internet access for all devices which are not essential, eg, the television (I used AppleTV instead), my printer, etc. So these devices have wifi access but no internet. I tried doing that with my Sonos system but found some unusual behaviour. First, the sub stopped working and only came back when I restored internet access, and second, I cannot use Trueplay when internet access is off - why? Why on earth is internet access required for local functions? I am guessing this is a bug? Surely the system should operate completely without internet access? What happens if Sonos goes bust? I am considering returning my equipment but am hoping this is a bug. (Will Sonos see this? If not what are the support options to get an official response?)Thanks in adv
Today I successfully updated to the latest 16.3 Firmware and Windows Desktop Controller.I subsequently performed an “Update Music Library Now” from the 16.3 Windows Desktop Controller. Now any Sonos Controller (including SonoPhone, SonoPad) show multiple entries for each compilation album when viewing Albums.Just an example shown below... Does anyone else have this issue?Ross.
Can the Sonos Ray soundbar be synched with Sony remote controls?
Hi,I receive an incomplete list of Favorites with the Sonos API “getFavorites”-command.Concretely, playlists from Amazon Music which I added to Favorites in the app are missing while playlists from Spotify added in the same way are returned by the API.In the Sonos app both are listed next to each other. By using the http-API I get both types of playlists, but Amazon Music playlists are of type “shortcut” and Spotify playlists of type “instantPlay”. (see also other post) Does this ring a bell for anyone? Thanks very much in advance!Best regards,Philip
Hi,I am using the local API via a module in the home automation system Symcon (in my understanding not relevant for the question) and experience an unexpected behaviour for Amazon Music playlist Sonos favorites.Adding the Sonos favorites for Amazon Music and e.g. Spotify playlists in the Sonos app in the same way leads to different results when browsing the ContentDirectoryService for Sonos favorites(FV:2).For Spotify playlist the “res” element is delivered so that the playlist can be played via the API.For Amazon Music playlists the “res” element is returned empty, therefore no possibility to initiate the playback.Additional difference is that the Amazon Music playlists are listed with r:type “shortcut”, while the Spotify playlists are listed as r:type “instantPlay”.Via the Sonos App both type of playlists look and behave in the same way.Does someone have an idea what could be the reason for the different behaviour and what I can do to get the Amazon Music playlists working? Thanks ver
Before I look elsewhere, are SONOS planning on producing a CD player in the near future?
Following the recent Sonos update, the desktop application refuses to add the library. Despite numerous results on search, Sonos seemingly is refusing to resolve the 913 issue. It was suggested I move the library to an external hard drive. Which I did and now I get the 1002 error. Sonos resolution to this is meaningless and doesn’t help. Apple Music will play through Sonos but the Sonos app refuses to load the library which means I can’t play any music using either the desktop or the mobile app.Has anyone found a solution this to and please in plain English. There are a lot of answers which are gobbleeegook...

I have an ipad air 12.9” M2 6th gen 2024. Trying to trueplay the ARC I get device not supported. The official trueplay page does not list this model as Not Supported or in Coming Soon. Will trueplay be supported or is this a bug?
How do I activate atmos my system seems exactly the same. Beam 2 Sony 2023 tv .
Sonos lists Hardware Version and (Software) Version in its System Info. Is there any quick place to find the highest (Software) Version that supports each Hardware Version? This would be useful for cases like my Connect models that seem stuck in the past but I can’t clearly figure out why based on existing S1/S2 documention.
I am using up to date sw om my system and app. I have Sonos Connect gen2 playing Tidal. Why do songs end abrupt just before real end? I do not find any setting about fading between songs. Anything I can do?I am using ethernet cable to the router. I have 1GE switches and 250Mbit WAN.
when using it Sonos One sounds 2 to 3 seconds delayed. How I make them sound synchronized? and/or together ?

Have 1 Play 1 and want to pair with Arc on tv. Each time I attempt to pair through the app, the Arc volume goes mute and the pairing is not successful. I’m not getting any error messages.
Hi everyone,I have an in-roof speaker system at home that has its own amplifier. I'm looking for ways to integrate it into my Sonos system without having to replace the existing amplifier. I want to be able to control all of my speakers from one app and enjoy seamless audio playback throughout my home. My speaker system has RCA and 3.5mm inputs available.Does anyone have experience integrating in-roof speakers with a Sonos system? What are the best approaches and what should I consider when making my decision? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I have recently upgraded my home network and ISP with EE. All my devices have connected to the new router except the Sonos 1.It will work if I connect it with a cable, but drops off when trying to use wifi connection. When I use the app on my Android it tells me it cannot find any devices.Grateful for any advice.Kevin Fields
How many ERA 100 speakers do I need for the master bedroom? Is one enough, or do I need at least two??
My set up is:Samsung ue75nu7100Apple TV 4K 1 genHue Sync I’m thinking about upgrading from playbar to arc but I was wondering if I would be able to get Dolby Atmos and what would be the correct connections to make this work.
I have an Bose Cinemate system connected to my tv. I want to connect a Port to this , not for tv sound but to add to my Sonos ecosystem when not watching tv. Will Port allow me to select these speakers and turn on through the app (much like adding or subtracting speakers now) to include with all other speakers and it I unselect, will the sound from tv play independently (not thru port)? The Cinemate has an amp built in. It has RCA analog in/out as well as an optical in. There are two shelve speakers and subwoofer
