If the remote control does support infrared communication, it should work with Ray.

However, those remote control devices will only control the Ray (and surrounds/Sub) while playing the optical input. The remote will not control the volume on any ‘grouped rooms’.

Just to be exact in detail, I think that’s not just for the optical input. You also can adjust volume of the ht setup via the ir control in music mode for any streaming source. 😉
