Current set up are 2 x Ones in front of the sofa and Sub in the corner. Sounds very sweet listening to music- very happy indeed. If I buy the Beam and relocate the Ones behind me to create a surround-sound home theatre system, will music also play through the Beam and Ones at the same time ?I'm not sure why, but I'm concerned that surround sound music might prove distracting compared to the very nice listening experience I've got now. I would have considered the Arc, but reading the forums, by all accounts, music sounds better coming via the Beam.
È migliore l'audio della Bose Soundbar 700 con Bose Bass Module 700 o la Sonos Arc con il Sonos Sub?
I am considering upgrading my legacy system. I have 4 play 5’s.. can I use the 30% credit on ANY new S2 products? Example: can I use one gen one play 5 to buy an ARC at 30% off, one play 5 gen one to buy a Gen 3 sub, one play 5 gen one to buy an Amp at 30% off? Thanks,Steve
Hello, do I need a full time wifi or Internet connection to use Sonos arc. I don't use streaming services alot. Mainly use satellite TV. I can afford Internet connection for occasional streaming and update of the sonos software but not full time Internet connection for a soundbar. Also do Wireless speakers need Internet connection. Hope by WiFi they mean local home network not necessarily connected to the Internet.
I am looking to purchase the Sonos Move and I currently have a 15% discount through their upgrade process… but I am wanting to know if anyone thinks that it is worth waiting for Black Friday where there could be a better deal on the Move here in the UK?I have seen that in the US there was $100 off but I am not sure if there will be something similar in the UK?
I’m considering the Move speaker to use outside, but am not sure if it’s no different from any bluetooth speaker? I would only want it if it stays connected to my wi-fi when in the back yard, etc.
Hi,I apologize in advance if this was already asked here… I could only find some older threads on the topic, but they referred to past products.I have a pair of active speakers + subwoofer which still sound great. The right speaker and subwoofer are fed directly from the left speaker, which is connected to the receiver.Say I wanted to integrate my gear into a Sonos environment (possibly a 5.1 configuration), what are my options? For example, would it be possible to use my two active speakers as fronts, a Sonos Beam (or Arc) as center, and a pair of Sonos One SL as rears? Thanks!
My sub didn’t seem to have the pads in the box for laying on its side and it vibrates where I want to put it. can Sonos send me some?If they won’t (or I never manage to get an email to them then what material should I buy to use as pads?(this is supposed to be an email to Sonos support but it appears whatever I try I end up here!!)
HI, I have just purchased a new Sonos Arc from Curry’s in the UK - I have not bought it through the Sonos website. I do not want to accept the upgrade offer nor receive the discount nor have I been informed that my purchase through Curry’s is affiliated to the upgrade programme. Where do I stand right now with my legacy device in this respect?
Are there any plans to have different sub levels for music and TV… similar to surround sound? Is this possible without manually setting the levels each time?
If anyone is going to be an early PS5 adopter, please, please let us all know if it can transcode DTS to Dolby Digital like the Xbox can. I’d love to get the disk version of the PS5 and get rid of my Xbox as I do not use it to play games, strictly for watching blurays and streaming services so I can get the proper sound out of it for my Sonos Beam etc… But if it won’t support transcoding, I will keep my Xbox and just get the digital diskless edition. Waiting til I have positive confirmation either way. Thanks! -JC
HiI really like the jazz groove and wound like to donate to them so that I can get all their channels. But they are based in the US and the jazz groove is only added to sonos in the US.How can I listen to the jazz groove on the sonos app here in Australia?
I understand you can set auto-updates on the Sonos mobile app. Why can’t you set auto-updates on the controller on your desktop and laptop apps?
I know people that have already invested in Sonos and would pay to get a product that will convert audio formats to Dolby Digital 5.1. We like DD 5.1 and want it available to use on our Sonos products. We are not asking for more formats, just downgraded. Sonos should invest in this because the Playbar and Playbase are great products from Sonos. These products from Sonos are high quality and have so much life left.
What does "Coming soon" mean to Sonos? Why does the last half-year of Apple device releases not have Trueplay support? The iPhone SE 2020 was released over half a year ago. For much of that time this support page: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3222 has listed support for the device as "Coming soon". I own an iPhone SE 2020 and still cannot get trueplay to work with thousands of dollars of Sonos equipment. Now let's take a look at the current "Coming soon" list, with release dates:iPod touch (7th generation) - released 20190528, 1.5 years since release. iPad Pro 12.9" (4th generation) - released 20200325, 7+ months since release iPad Pro 11" (2nd generation) - same as above iPhone SE (2nd generation) - released 20200424, 6+ months since releaseA reasonable person would call 6 months adverbs other than "soon". Moreover 1.5 years for the iPod touch is especially egregious, seeing as that was pre-covid. If support is not planned (ever) for a product, that should be clearly stipulated.
Hey all, posting in this forum too, hoping it could help get me some assistance. I Hope it’s okay.I’d love to get some help in positioning the Sonos Arc and Gen-3 Sub in my living room. Background info:I’m excited cause yesterday I purchased a 65 inch LG CX TV, along with the Sonos Arc and the Gen3 Sub (and an Xbox Series X but that’s prolly irrelevant). The whole thing should arrive by next week. Until then, I’m contemplating on the set up.Current set up:Video: LG Plasma, 60 inch (Will be replaced with the LG CX, which is 10cm taller and 15cm wider). Audio: Got an Onkyo Amp and 2 B&W Speakers which will be out of the way once the Arc arrives. Gaming: Xbox One, will be replaced with Xbox Series X. Distance between TV and me on the couch: 2.5MetersThe issue:I love the placement of my current TV, and assume that for the best viewing experience I should place the new TV in the same height (from the ground up).I was hoping to hang the Sonos Arc on the Wall Mount below the TV, and place
I have two issues. One, my Sonos drops out like other users. Secondly, when using the play bar with our TV it doesn't take long for the lip sync on the TV is totally out of sync. I have called Sonos a couple time and they say its our DISH receiver. When I unplug the play bar and TV the proper syncing is restored. Since I never have gotten an answer from Sonos for either problem I'll be returning my entire Sonos system to Costco. Seems Sonos can't handle some of the basic issues users are having and find it too frustrating to continue.
With multichannel PCM now possible what 4k UHD players have functionality to output DTS soundtrack disc as PCM 7.1?I will start with Oppo203 that is working perfectly through my C9 then onto ARC.Any other players doing the same?
Hi,Is the arc, Sub gen3 and Play set discontinued? It was supposed to be available end of October but still no sign and no date? Thanks!
I got an email saying I haven’t sold $10,000 worth of product… in the middle of a 9 month pandemic and lockdown. I had plenty of work, but SONOS didn’t have product- not for me or my distributors… So I had to buy retail and make no money for the sake of the job.I am disgusted at this treatment as someone who has been a direct dealer at silver status for 8 years or so. Pushing SONOS as my go to whole home audio solution, I’ve been asked to lean towards Yamaha and Heos. I never did. Sonos was it. And now as of the 13th, I’m out. I can’t seem to get my account manager to call me back, so I guess they don’t care about the small business owner… it’s all about the numbers. Anyone else here going through this?Bryan, Accent AV
Hello, I just bought Sonos one and with the apps, I can't find pre-made lists by genre or mood in YouTube music. Is there a reason? Thanks
Will the Sonos arc will be on sale at Black Friday
I have recently purchased the Philips805 and Sonos Arc. The TV apps work perfectly with the TV and sound bar, I am getting Atmos DD+ which is great on Netflix. 5.1 and other formats also all work perfectly whilst watching the streaming apps. Now here is where the problem starts. When watching TV via my V6 Box I get lip sync issues with all 2.1 and 5.1 TV shows/films etc. Stereo works perfectly fine and last night I surprised to see I had no issues when watching BT Ultimate, which gave me Atmos DD+.The only way around is to connect the optical cable to the from the V6 Box to the Arc. This way fixes all the lip sync issues with 2.1 and 5.1, but I then lose all sound on the TV apps such as Netflix, Prime etc and also lose Atmos DD+ on BT Ultimate. I don't mind changing the cables in the Sonos Arc short term, but I want a long term fix. I brought the Arc to keep things simple and clean, I love the sound but not the faff it is causing. I never experienced these problems on my previous se
Is there a way of switching between “steamed” music and “line in” on the amp without having to take the rca leads out?
Suddenly the possibility to play all top tracks as a playlist is gone from Tidal. What can be done about it?
