Smart home integrations

Hii currently have two Sonos Sl ones as a stereo pair at the end of a long room. I wanted to add a voice control speaker at the other end. Initially I just wanted it completely separate to the two other speakers (ie just as a stand alone speaker for radio while in the kitchen). however now I’m wondering if I could link all three together to play the same thing. would a Sonos Sl one smart speaker do this for me? Ie would I be able to ask that speaker to play a radio station and hear it across all three speakers in the same room. (I don’t mind unpairing the stereo element of the other two if that’s what needs to happen?) anyadvice welcome on how best to do this. thanks 

I really cannot believe, how much we as sonos speaker owner’s spend to get mediocre service, at best. The inflexibility of this company will be its demise. There are a number of companies that make comparable products for half the price and with far more functionality then these speakers, so why would we continue to pay so much for a gloried stupid speaker?  I cannot even connect these stupid lead weights to my TV… is not that what any good home theater system should offer as a minimum? Does anyone else feel the same way? Any Suggestions without having to invest another dime into these speakers?

On the web it says yes, but the application tells me that it is not available in my country, do I do something wrong?

Hi,Today I bought an Ikea symfonisk. However, when I add it to Homekit, it shows up and I can name it and set the room and so on, but when I play music (tested with Spotify in Symfonisk and AirPlay) the ”icon” in Homekit says that nothing is played, and when I press to open Ikea symfonisk in Homekit it also shows that nothing is played. Also tested automations, e.g. Pause music when a lamp activates. But nothing happens. What is wrong?Ikea symfonisk is connected with wifi

Can someone please explain me  I want to understand that is it possible to control Sonos speakers with 3r party Automation App for example : Control 4 , Crestron or Saavan .Is it possible to control from all these. apps ?? And which is  the. most successful brand for automation with Sonos Products ??  

Hi all! I’m having trouble getting my new Arc setup registered into the HomeKit ecosystem. I have three other One SL’s throughout my home, all of which had no problem being discovered & added within HomeKit. I just setup the Arc, Sub & SL’s within the Sonos app, all was pretty seemless and grouping them as ‘one’ was much easier than I expected. Now that I have that completed within the Sonos app, it’s ready to be added to HomeKit just as my other One’s were, but it won’t discover when searching. Any ideas/fix? Part two to that question, will I only have to discover/add the Arc to HomeKit since the sub/SL’s are all binded together as ‘one’ within the Sonos app?  Off topic. Is TruePlay really the secret sauce to bringing this setup to life? Coming from a similar Vizio soundbar/surround setup, I don’t want to say I’m necessarily disappointed but I’d say I was a bit underwhelmed. I tried out https://speakerscenes.com/, just to see what the offering was. I’d now like to de-authorize this app (since it accesses my Sonos setup through the API). However, I don’t see any settings in my Sonos app, the Sonos website, or this third-party app. Any ideas or suggestions?

My 1st. Zone is Sonance Outdoor speakers with Amp My 2nd Zone is Sonance In Celling Speakers with AmpMy 3rd Zone is Marantz AV with 3rd party home theatre speakers  So. my question is can i connect Sonos Port to Marantz AV to make it 3rd different zone to play music at one time on all 3 different zones. Is it posible to connect Port to Marantz and how ?? 

Hi, we have a Ring doorbell, Sonos Arc and Alexa. We have had this set up since April no problem. There is a routine in place to tell the Arc if the doorbell is pressed to announce “someone is at the door”This has just suddenly stopped working. I have tried deleting the routine and trying again but nothing. Everything has been powered down etcThe doorbell is configured to ring on one of the Alexa Shows (as it always has been) but that is not set up to say someone is at the door but it is….Any ideas?Seems to have occurred have a SONOS update but that could be a coincidence 

Hello,Is it possible for Move to automatically group with my Playbase connected to tv using any home assistant or sensors of any kind or on routine activation? I am watching tv then go to the kitchen where Move stands. I want it to automatically group with Playbase so I can hear the tv. When I leave the kitchen I would like it to ungroup itself. Is it possible in any, proven and trustworthy way? 

I know, I know....it's been asked a million times. How hard is it to adapt the S2 app for Apple TV and Android TV.It can't be that hard....surely?

When will Siri be available as Assist on e.g. SONOS One?When Alexa came, it was announced that Siri would follow soon. I‘m still waiting.

Hello!is there any chance to enhance the list of integrated voice assistants? Here in Russia we have very popular Yandex Alisa assistant (Yandex music service was already added to Sonos). A lot of happy Sonos users here will be even more happy (much more) if you implement it.

Hey there, Just moved into a new place and am trying to add my living room setup of a playbase plus paired one surrounds to HomeKit.  However the Home app is not recognizing any of the speakers.  I tried factory resetting all three and was eventually able to see two speakers (not sure which ones) in the Home app, but still wasn’t able to add them (failed) and now they will not appear again.  Also have power cycled my phone, Apple TV hub and router. I’ve successfully added a set of stereo ones and a standalone one to HomeKit so no issue with the rest of the setup.  Would appreciate any help.

I have a Sonos playbar and connect:amp apparently I can’t connect either to my Apple HomePod Mini because neither product is AirPlay compatible.  Anyone have any idea what I can do to make the speakers able to play through Siri?

Issue w/ Sonos App, I continue to have issues with the new app on my iphone. Cannot open app as it freezes and shuts off after 15 seconds. It worked for a few days and then stopped. I am trying to upgrade my Sonos system with a new ARC so I need this to start working first. Have tried everything but nothing working at all. Please advise. Thanks

I accidentally paired my Sonos system to the wrong Apple HomeKit Home. Turns out you cannot add them to another Home after that. You have to reset each speaker for it to work. Well, actually I ended up having to create an entirely new Sonos system and had to recreate everything. After a bunch of resetting I managed to bring all my speakers to the correct HomeKit Home… except my Sonos Move. It just WILL NOT add. Here’s how it goes:Turn off Sonos Move. Wait 72 hours. Yes, you cannot remove a Sonos Move from you system. You’ll just have to wait. Power on the Move while holding the connect/pair button. Wait for the light to turn orange. This will reset the Sonos Move. Add the Sonos Move to the Sonos system in the Sonos app. Open the Home.app and select Add Accessory followed by I Don’t have a Code or Cannot Scan. Select the Sonos Move. Get message saying “Unable to Add Accessory” with a subtext saying “Home couldn’t connect to this accessory.” This is the same error message I got with all

With the announcement from apple that Siri will be available on 3rd party accessories would love to see Sonos take advantage of this as a option along with Alexa and Google assistant.

I cannot seem to find anything online or through Sonos about how to airplay from the Sonos app?  Or oi that not possible?  I can airplay from something I’m playing on my phone but not from the app.  My use case is when I’m playing something and I want to play it on my home cinema speakers via apple tv.Thanks

Hi,Since yesterday most of my Sonos IFTTT applets don’t work anymore. Might be related to the upgrade from 13.0 to 13.1.Oddly my applet to set the volume to a specific default value in the morning is still working (but I can’t edit it as players are not loading).Not working:pausing a player start playing a favorite radio station on a player editing or adding an applet as I don’t see any players or favorites to selectAction failure messages I see in IFTTT are either:“Internal error (400 Error: Request failed with status code 504)” or “There was a problem running the action"I tried connecting IFTTT with the Sonos service again. That works without any problem, but doesn’t fix anything.To me it looks like there is a communication issue between Sonos and IFTTT backend systems.Anyone else seeing this? Hi,I hope someone can help me!I have a Harmony Elite and Companion, each with their own hubs. Both have been set up and working until about 10 days ago. Each one is set up in a different room, but in both rooms they are controlling a Sky box, Samsung TV and Sonos Arc with Sub & surrounds.The Companion is still working fine, but 10 days ago the Elite stopped controlling the volume on the Sonos Arc it was connected to.After a bit of investigation, when I look for Sonos on my network using the Harmony app (as if I'm setting it up for the first time) it only finds a Sonos Move (which I have in another room). There are 8 other rooms with Sonos in and it doesn't find any of them, 11 days ago, it used to find them all.The really odd thing is if I search when using the Companion hub, it finds about half the rooms and still controls the Arc it is set up to control.I'm tearing my hair out with this, I've tried deleting the harmony Elite, resetting it to factory, powering everything off and o

Hi,I am trying to connect my Sonos to Samsung SmartThings. My system was connected to wifi and ST could not find any speaker. I then connected my ZP90 with Ethernet. The my ST system find my so is speakers, however, then I am not able to see them in my Sonos app... I have a feeling that I have tried almost everything. Do you think I need a Boost...?

I’ve been using Apple HomeKit Apple Home with Sonos for about 8 months. Home automation and controls worked great!  When I arrive home, turn on all lights and stat music everywhere.  When I want everything off it did it. Recently I’ve been unable to control Sonos in the Home app.  I just realized that when selecting the speaker it says controls are unavailable. I use an AppleTV as the home hub.  It would usually turn on (including the TV) to make these commands possible. now nothing.things I’ve triedlogging in and out of iCloudin and out of keychainremoved and added the speakerturned off 5G on my routerunplugged and plugged the speakerthis behavior is consistent with all Sonos speakers
