I presume the answer is no, but can I combine my existing Play 1 (the old entry level speaker) with a One SL (the new entry level speaker) to set up surround speakers with a Sonos beam / playbar / or playbase?

I'm setting up overhead music in the office and showroom. I am using WiFi, that is open to all employees. How do I password protect or disable Airplay option so employees are not accidentally (or on purpose) take over and broadcast whatever they pleased from their phones?

Hello, Not quite sure I understand the exact Sonos Port setup I need. I have one “old-school” stereo system: CD, vinyl, radio and amplifier connected to two floor speakers. I would like to : Stream my Sonos services (like Spotify and Tunein Radio) to my two floor speakers (and group them with my existing Sonos speakers in other rooms). Play and stream my CD or vinyl or radio to my other Sonos speakers in other rooms. Maybe what I need is a simple diagram to show me where to plug the Sonos Port with my existing stereo? Thanks.

I have sold my Sonos system. Not because I do not love it; but because I do. But where I moved to I have no land lines for internet. Is there anything I need to do with my account. Since my devices are registered on that account, I am worried the new owner will have issues setting up the system.

Hi,  I have a Sonos One gen 1 right now.  If I like to get another Sonos 1 for form a stereo pair, can i get one as gen 2?  And which one should be the master?  TIA

Anyone knows how long we are going to have to wait until the Move is available in White?

Hi,   I have Play 1 speakers and a turntable with RCA line, phono and USB outputs.  I would like to connect the turntable to Play 1 speakers.  Speakers have no other inputs than via Wi-Fi.  Is there a way of doing it?   Thanks

Does anyone know if the AMP creates a phantom center channel for 2.1 music such as from a streaming service from Apple TV? Although my AMP is connected to my TV music quality is most important to me.  I’m using my AMP with ATV, Revel Concerta 2 speakers, and Sonos sub.  I would hope the Amp is smart enough to pick up 2.1 stereo and not create the phantom center except for movies.

Hey All, I could really use some advice on whether it’s a good idea to update my current 5.1 set up or stick with what I already have. I’ve currently got my TV set up with a Playbar, Sub and two rear Sonos Ones (Gen 2). I use it for both the TV audio and often play music through this set up as well. My question is whether it would be worth replacing the two Sonos Ones with two Play:5s (Gen 2). To give you an idea of the space, it’s essentially a big, long room - open plan living at one end, dining area in the middle and kitchen at the other end. The TV, Playbar and Sub are on the furthest wall in the living, the couch faces those and the two Sonos Ones sit behind the couch on a console table that separates the living and dining areas. I love my current system and it seems adequate enough. I don’t feel like I need another speaker in the kitchen when listening to music, for example. That said, I’ve never owned a Play:5 before and don’t know what I’m missing. (I never thought I needed the

I’ve been having issues with my Sonos system acting up (speakers cutting in and out, Alexa working but not connecting to the music services, etc) and have decided to set the entire system up from scratch.  Is there a way to ‘reset the entire system’ or do I have to go speaker to speaker and factory reset each one? I imagine the proper procedure would be  unplug all speakers  disconnect all wireless devices  unplug router replug router factory restart each speaker  Build system back up one speaker at the time. We currently have 4 zones (living room, kitchen, patio and bedroom) with a total of 7 Sonos speakers (2 Sonos One, 4 play:1 and 1 older Sonos Amp.

We bought a Sonos One in France for use in our holiday house. I can’t find a way to make Alexa speak English. There is no language option in the app. How can I get the Sonos/Alexa to respond in English?

If i wanted to switch back to Alexa or vis a versa , Alexa to Google on my Sonos one app, what is the correct and easiest way to do this? must I reinstall the voice service again? thanks

Disappointed when I received this message when starting the app to play from my iPad. Not interested in having to pay for a service to stream from my music collection. What’s driving this decision? Note - creating an incentive for me to search for another music solution in my home. Can’t begin to describe how unhappy I am. Have been so happy with Sonos and bragged about the system to friends. That sounds like I’ll have to do a 180. Any one else feeling the same?

One of the best features of sonos system is playing different music from the same spotify account on multiple Sonos speakers at the same time. When I use Google Assistant to start playing a song in a certain room, it works great. But when give a secomand command to play a different song in another room, it stops the already playing stream. I believe it forwards the comannd to Spotify, and not to Sonos. My setup is two Sonos play:1s, and android based assistant / google home app. I will get a google home mini, and a google home hub What am I missing?!

Hello I bought two sonos one SL speakers and wanted to connect them to my tv. But I can’t work out how to Bluetooth them to my TV

When I add new music to Apple it doesn’t appear in recently added music on the SONOs app. I add the Apple Music through my Apple Music app on my iPad. This always worked but not now.

Hi there, recently bought an older model Samsung (NU7100), and Sonos Beam etc. Sonos is wired and working well without the TV (music only). But I am having issues with TV connectivity. Things I've tried;

I connected the Beam via HDMI Arc (Tv input was HDMI arc). The sound was delayed and intermittently switched on and off.

I then ran an update on both the TV and Samsung, still same issue.

Tried turning off all products beside the Beam, still same issue.

Tried using the optical port on the TV (via the HMDI / optical adapter that came with the Beam). The only option on the TV that was now available to select other than the the "TV sound", did not work. No sound.

Went back to the HDMI Arc connection, it is now missing from the TV option menu.
Am I missing something? I am going to try another TV tomorrow, thinking maybe I'll try another HDMI 2 cable?? Thanks in advance... hoping it isn't somethi

I am curious to know what bluetooth audio codecs the Move supports. Particularly if it supports Aptx HD or one of the other higher resolution codecs like LDAC. Thanks!

Will we be able to play music from Amazon Music Unlimited to our Sonos speakers using Google Assistant in the future? I realize an Echo device would be the obvious choice here, but I'm hoping to be able to do this with my Android phone.

MY sonos wont play my Amazon music. I will say "Alexa play my music" Alexa will respond "Playing your music on Amazon Music". However no song will play or no sound will come out. If i mannually play through the app it will work, however when using Alexa via voice command it will not. I have updated the app after this occured to troubleshoot, relinked my amazon account, but no-joy. Any suggestions?

ok, I've installed my brandnew Sonos One succesfully (yay!) on my home wifi network, and now I want to setup voice control (Alexa, Google, whatever) on my Sonos One. All the internet sources tell me to simply add the 'Voice service' in the Sonos app (=iOS, latest version), and select 'Alexa'. Problem: when going to 'Services' in the Sonos app, there simply is no 'Voice' option. There is the 'Music' service you can add (which I did: I've added Apple Music), but no 'Voice' service to add... How is this possible? (I've reinstalled the Sonos app multiple times, I've rebooted my iPhone. I've looked for answers online). So... help! Anybody? (btw, I did not have an Alexa account before, but I've created one now. And yes, the Alexa service is available in my country.) So, thank you very much for advicing me what to do.

Apologies if this has been asked previoiusly - I did search but couldn’t find a thread. Is there any way to listen to a Sonos playlist on a pair of bluetooth headphones? I bought my son the pair of Bose QC35 wireless headphones for Christmas that’s he’s been begging for but I belated realise his playlists are all on the Sonos. We don’t have a Connect - but even if I did that would necessitate rigging it up to a PC and pairing the headphones with that. I was rather hoping I could stream the audio via his iPad but I believe that’s not possible. Is there a smart way to do this I’m missing?

Apologies if this isn't the correct method to make a request. Would it be possible to request Hong Kong be added to the list of future places that support Google Assistant on Sonos products? Thanks!
