Hey all, I've got a Sonos Playbar mounted on the wall underneath my TV. I've also got a Sonos Sub separately. I was wondering if it's possible to adjust the bass level from the Playbar separately from the Sub. I've even be keen to turn off the Playbars bass entirely, and just have the Sub handling it. I'm selling a pre-owned ZP90 on eBay (in order upgrade to Connect:Amp) and a prospective purchaser is asking the age of the unit. Can I tell the age of my Sonos unit by the serial number or hardware version?

I just purchased a playbase and am running in-ceiling surround speakers with a connect amp. Is there a way to get these to revert to stereo sound when not watching tv/movie? It seems a little ridiculous to not have this option. My Denon receiver that I previously used is over a decade old and did this. I have tried everything that I can think of short of un-linking the surround speakers from the surround setup. Is there something else that I can do?

Hi, It is possible to use a Sonos Beam with 4 Sonos One Gen 2 speakers for 5.1 Surround sound, and if so, how well does it work/sound? Much appreciated Richard :-)

I have a Sonos Beam, and I have connected a pair of Play 3's as surround speakers. I now want to connect a pair of Play 1's to use as rear channel surround sound speakers. There doesn't seem to be anyway to do this? It looks like one one pair of speakers can be connected, and then only as the rear channel surround sound speakers. How can I accomplish this to have a Beam as the center channel, a pair of Play 3's as the front channel, and a pair of Play 1's as the rear channel?

I have a play 5 and lately i have the feeling that the sound is sometimes bad. can it be that we blew the speaker out?

I've got a pair of Sonos One speakers, been using them in separate rooms but set as a group for about a year now. I'm moving them into 1 room and I want to make them a stereo pair. When I go into More > Settings, then tap Room Settings, nothing happens. The item is in the menu, but it won't go to the page. I checked my software version, both speakers and the android device are at 10.3, build 51166240. I've tried restarting my router and the speakers, but it hasn't helped.

Hello sonos community, appreciate some help/advice with my setup. We just moved into a new house that has an existing sonos system. Owners before us powered in ceiling systems throughout the house (bedroom, living room, kitchen, basement) using 3 connect:amps, all of which were left for us. I’m trying to figure out the best way to complete the living room setup to use for TV surround as well as music. Right now in the living room is 2 in ceiling speakers connected to a connect:amp. I want to complete the setup. It is a large open room with vaulted ceilings so will need something with decent power. The TV will be mounted over a fireplace which is in the center back of the room, and seating will be arranged in front of the fireplace with a left and right couch and 2 chairs facing the fireplace/TV. My thoughts were Option 1: Buy a playbar to connect to TV for front use existing 2 ceiling speakers for rears powered by connect:amp Option 2: Buy a sonos amp to connect to TV and power 2

Sonos Playbar keeps dropping audio. I reset the power by unplugging it from the outlet, wait 10 seconds, plug it back in and it works for a few minutes and then the audio drops again.

Dear Sonos Please pay me £3.99 for the SonoPad software I've just had to buy because you've made my 9.3.5 iPad useless with your own app!!!!!!!! Are you serious? You break your own app for users of older tech controllers!?!? Utter madness! I'm already not purchasing further Sonos until you make voice playback of local library possible through a voice assistant. Mind boggles. Used to be a great company. I have an existing system that I have been very happy with it. I am about to add the Sonance outdoor speakers powered by a sonance amp linked to my existing system via Sonos Connect. I'll be using in-ground speakers with 14 gauge 4 wire in-ground speaker wire I'm pretty clear on how to set this up and really only have one technical challenge I am hoping others have solved and can provide some advice on. My specific question - in a house with no basement or crawl space and limited attic access, what is the best way to get my speaker wires from my amp inside the house to the outside area where the speakers are buried? The good news is that all my equipment sits on an exterior wall inside the house and on the other side of this wall (i..e outside) is the perfect spot to begin running my speaker wires for the in ground speakers. So I just need to figure out the cleanest and most structurally sound way to pass those speaker wires from inside to outside. Most of the videos I have

Hi Guys my soundbar is hard wired to the internet and I was trying to connect an ethernet cable from the soundbar to the TV. Even though the TV displays the message that the network cable is detected, the internet is not working. Currently connecting my play 5 to my TV via Line-in cable to audio out. The sound is good, but feels a little flat (less bass, lower volume) than when I play through spotify with WiFi. Is there a better way to connect to the TV? I've got the sonos App turned up to 10 on the line-in options.

I want to get a Sonos One but I'm confused how it works with multiple people. From what I gather it's possible to log in with our different Spotify accounts so that's OK. But what about the Alexa part and voice control? First of all is it possible for multiple people to use the voice commands? And if so, my issue is, Amazon household seems to only allow 2 adults which is ridiculous because my oldest son who still lives at home is 18 and so he's an adult. So as it stands now, I can add my husband and my two younger kids but my oldest is just stuck in no man's land? Can someone explain like they're talking to a 5 year old how this all works? It seems pointless to get one if I'm the only one who can use it. Thanks.

I replaced my MacBook Pro mechanical hard disk with a SSD drive. How do I re-installs the Sonos app? I'm running High Sierra. My iPhone and iPad app work fine but want to also run Sonos from my MacBook Pro. Any tips, tricks or traps I should know about? I did some searching and couldn't find anything. I want to turn off my Sonos One at night because of the status light - which is constantly on - in the bedroom. I have read that this is impossible short of turning off the plug. Two questions: [list] [*]Does putting this on standby disable the wifi? [*] I would like to find a way to shut down the wifi but again, it seems that this can only be disabled via ethernet cable and the app. [/list] Feature request: Can SONOS allow users to disable the wifi via the app, so we don't need to have a constant active wifi when we don't need it... While setting up my Sonos Home Theater with Playbase, I ran into trouble turning off the TVs speakers and (I think) skipped the step where the TV's volume remote control controls the Sonos system volume. Everything else is working properly, but I can't change the Sonos system volume except with the buttons on top of the Playbase. Is there a way for me to properly use the TVs remote control volume to control the Sonos system volume without going through the whole setup process again?

We have had SONOS since 2013 and now have 8 speakers. Initially we used iTunes as the music library software, but kept having speakers drop, skipping when music was playing (25-30 seconds), and other problems. An IT guy has been working with us sporadically for more than a year (!) to try to sort this out. He recommended Plex, but I dislike the inability to use multiple genres (or any genres if not on the PC), and the emphasis on videos, TV and streaming, none of which interests us. And creating playlists is possible only on the desktop, not on an iPad. More recently, he put us on a trial run of Roon, but it still drops the first 20 seconds or so of songs, and unilaterally decides to skip songs we've placed into the queue. And at $499, it just isn't all we are looking for. (Plus, how can one play "Name that Tune" when the first 20 seconds are MIA?) Trying to understand how AirPlay 2 will work with Sonos. I have a Denon AVR x2400-h supporting AirPlay 2. If I would buy a Sonos one would my Denon receiver appear in my Sonos app? If so, can it be turned on as well? :) If not, then I suppose I would use my Apple TV, though then the same question, would the Apple TV appear in the Sonos app? Or would I only be able to Control Sonos via Apple TV.

Hi Does anyone know if it's possible to put some sort of In Line Volume Control when running 4 speakers from the new Sonos Amp Setup is 2 speakers in Kitchen and 2 outdoors. Issue is would like to be able to adjust the volume of each pair separately as the outdoor ones tend to be turned up more but then it's too loud in the kitchen. Any ideas? Cheers
