The volume on my remote is no longer working.  It was working and has just stopped.  I have tried 2 different articles to replace the remote and reprogram my shaw remote to relearn but neither have resolved my problem.  This is challenging for anyone to watch tv that doesnt have the sonos app available to them.

Is it your TV remote or cable remote or 3rd party remote? What brand? Need more information to assist you.


Hi there.  I am using a shaw Arria remote control, optical cable, older model samsung plasma tv.  However last night I unplugged my beam and plugged it back in and ran through the remote control setup again sonos app and it now recognized the volume keys.  It seems the beam just stopped recognizing the remote for some reason.  I found this fix in a reddit article.  Thank you for your response.
