I haven’t been using Sonos much after the May24 update, wiating for things to improve. Just uploaded my Mozart collection to the HD I keep my music library on, tho, so updated the library and started trying to play a few things. Disaster. Albums and playlists are now truncated and duplicated in random ways  - so a ten-track album might now appear as three albums, one with 2 tracks, one with 5 and one with 3 - or ten albums each with one track on. Same thing with playlists, which seem to be missing most of their original tracks. SO to play one album I need to play n album fragments. This is the case on both the PC version and the mobile app (Iphone).I’ve checked back to the itunes and music folders and all is untroubled there, so this seems to be another Sonos problem. I’d normally remove all the music folders from the library and then reload them, but that took three months to resolve last time I tried (last May). Anybody else got this problem, or an idea for a simple solution?Thanks

I have read a lot of threads on here, but I have yet to see anyone with the Sonos in-wall fronts with In-ceiling 8 inch speakers. How would one compare the sound stage and depth between the two set ups. I really want to use the two in wall speakers as fronts due to aesthetics as well as the fact that I have a mental block telling me the in-walls will last much longer than a soundbar. However, everywhere I read, says the arc ultra is incredible. My question I guess is how much of a compromise is it to go with in-walls in front vs arc ultra? The system would be mixed use, as my living room is open floorplan and is really the only space in my house to entertain aside from the backyard. I want a great cinematic experience but even better music experience. I don’t want to invest in the wrong speakers and deal with headaches. Please help. 

Hi all, for several weeks now, when I attempt to group some Sonos speakers located in other rooms with the Beam soundbar that is playing TV audio, the group does not remain fixed, and the speakers are immediately separated. It always worked but now it does not. (Ungroup on auto play is turned off).Anybody has any clue? Thank you

Libary no longer updates automatically, and the app freezes when I try and update the library manually.  FFS why is this such hot garbage. 

On the iPad mini running iPados 18.3 we can do most functions normally. But when we look at the SiriusXM channels we see different (old) information in the channels listing and sometimes in the channel’s view. The now playing in the controller at the bottom is correct, but what is listed on the channel screen or in the channel list is often an older track- sometimes they even show three different songs. Usually we can back out of the list (or jump up one more level if we are elsewhere in the Sirius section) and it refreshes (but it’s not 100% consistent).We have readded Sirius to the Sonos app, and reset the Sonos app and readded it to our system at the request of Support agent on chat. Same behavior. This seems to be relatively new. Has anyone else seen this?Has anyone figured out a cause or solution?

Hi, I want some advice as I will be new on Sonos and sound systems. I just bought a big TV (OLED 77 G4) and I want to put a system for the TV. I’m thinkin on the ARC ULTRA + one sub + 2 rears.Apart from that, I’m thinking on getting also a Move 2 for moving it around the rooms… ALso I want to buy a turntable… so I’m looking for advice about which one to buy… thinking that I would love to use it in all speakers at the same time and get benefit about the sonos ecosystem.I also appreciate opinions on Sub 4 vs Sub mini, Era 100 vs Era 300 :)About how to connect the turntable these are the options I’m thinking:Sonos Port + Any turntable A turntable with BluetoothAre there others? Which one do you think is the best one? I’m new on this and any experience advice will be highly appreciatedThanks!!!

New to Sonos, wondering what this does; selected on Connect:amp

With the addition of lossless via the app. I’ve started using the Sonos app once again for Apple Music but I’ve noticed that there seems to be an issue with how the stats are collected.  The total minutes seems fine but the stats breakdown is wrong. For example, I listened to 5,000 minutes which seems right based on my history, but my top played artist/song/album counts are wrong. I even did a conscious test where I exclusively listened to Fontaines DC via the Sonos app (what an album btw) and it didn’t come up at all in my replay stats which it should have.  is this a known issue anywhere? cheers 

Newer Sonos user. Working with a playbar with gen 2 sub. Works great for TV/Movies. I can stream audio from my Apple Music account fine.  BUT…  I also have about 30 GB of personal music I’ve digitized from my CDs over the years and built playlists for them. When I try to stream from my iPhones internal music library via the Apple Music most of the songs are greyed out. Library is mostly AAC with some MP3 formatting.  There doesn’t seem to be any pattern as to what will stream and what won’t. Even albums are mixed with some songs playable and some not which were certainly the same file type. 

Dear sonosI wanted to touch base and share my experience with the new Sonos system that I recently upgraded to. After reading several positive reviews, I was excited to upgrade my 15-year-old Sony home theatre system to the Sonos system for $5000, which was three times the amount of my old system.However, I have to admit that I am disappointed with the sound quality. While playing music is great and I love it, watching a movie is a different story. The Arc Ultra sub 4 and two 300 era speakers are supposed to provide amazing sound, but in reality, the Arc Ultra is just a mono speaker with no adjustment for left and right channels. This results in an overwhelming center sound, making the overall home theatre experience disappointing.Moreover, I don't have the option to adjust the volume on the left and right channels, which I feel is missing from the package. The system needs more sound from these channels to truly wow me.I wanted to share my honest opinion with you as someone who values

Hi there , my Sonos 1play fell on the floor and I have tried to reset it ,still flashing yellow and can’t connect?

I noticed that whenever I use the controls on the Sonos Ace, whether it be toggling between the different ANC modes or simply just lowering the volume, the sound cues it makes are quite noticeable and very loud which gets very annoying after a while, especially those with sensitive ears. Also I like listening to music as low volumes due to my tinnitus, but the Sonos Ace doesn’t go low enough compared to other headphones like the AirPods Max. It would be really cool if some of these small features can be implemented, I know its not a major change, but it feels like a quality of life update. Thanks for reading!

SonosNet Channel is showing as an option in the Network settings on my Sonos app, but I’m not sure why.  The reason I’m asking is that I’m trying to get to the bottom of why my app lags more than it used to. I have tried Sonos support and given them diagnostics, but after 1hr and 20mins on the phone to them nothing had improved and I’m none the wiser. They asked me to connect a speaker via Ethernet to create a SonosNet but that seemed to make the lag worse.  I have since done a hard reset of all speakers, uninstalled and reinstalled the Sonos app on my iPhone. But the SonosNet channel still appears as an option. I have 5x Sonos Play 1 speakers and 2x Sonos One speakers in my system. All of them are showing as WifiMode1, so are connecting to my WiFi. I have an EE Smarthub router, with WiFi turned off and use a TP Link Deco X50 mesh system in AP mode. I have reserved the IP addresses for the Sonos speakers. I get a strong, stable and 70mbps+ WiFi signal from the mesh system in all the ro

Hi,My folder on my NAS contains 1000 songs. Selecting it to play loads it 64 times. The queue dialog shows that 64000 songs are loaded in the queue. Any help?Thanks.

Hi,I have created a playlist with the Windows App, because the Android S2 App can't save the current queue. I see the playlist in S2 Android App and can start it. However, when I click on the button to see the songs in the playlist it shows up empty. This driving me crazy. Any clues on how to solve it?Cheers, A former Sonos enthousiast. 

I have created personal playlist on Spotify but they don’t show up on Sonos S1 controller (desktop app) or on Sonos S1 (mobile phone app).How do i get access to the playlist from the desktop app or the mobile phone app?

HiMy system keep losing connection to YouSee Musik. This has happened over the last few weeks. Although I keep removing and adding it again it loses connection the next day or so. I have a free Spotify account which never loses connection.  It is really annoying. Please help me with how this should be fixed

After a power surge, Sonos will not connect to my music folder.  I had it working by adding it as a NAS drive after previous application updates.  But now that process doesn’t work.  The folder is on my MacBookPro and isn’t damaged.  I can access and play music from other apps.  I’m using Sequoia 15.3.2.  Anyone else having this issue?  Any suggestions?  Can’t imagine going directly to Sonos will be os any assistance.

Several threads discuss the lack of integration with Mixcloud.  while it was working perfectly in S1and S2, the new app integration is completely crippled. the Sonos engineers do not seem to care  at all. please fix this

I'm almost at the end of my patience here. I have a large ish setup (3 x play 1, 4 x play 3, 2 IKEA lamps, beam gen 1, sub mini, playbase, roam, move gen 1, boost) I'm using a technicolour router (supplied by Internet provider) and have a deco mesh network with half a dozen S4 style units. I have 80mb/s WiFi which, for everything else, is more than enough. Been having constant issues with various devices disappearing, becoming unresponsive, not playing, I even had to switch one of the play 1s off at the plug socket the other day as even the physical button couldn't pause my music.I reached out to sonos support, spoke to an agent and submitted diagnostics, we then tried switching my sonos net channel to 1 from the previous setting of 6 and this seemed to work. Until today. I'm back to where I was last week. Same issues, several speakers not showing up, even one half of a stereo pair just not working.Everything connected to the system is up to date (literally JUST checked), I've switched

Hi , Set up a full system for a friend recently then set up an another Beam Gen 2 yesterday for him. Added the Beam to the system and it asked for a “sign in from owner”  When I signed in he gave me a different email address and the same password. The system now works in both areas together by linking them or not but one room (beam) has voice control and the main room doesn’t. Both work through the app. We’ve reset passwords etc but no luck. It’s like it’s two different set ups with different login details. Every time I try to do something on the app it’s asking for sign in. Should I delete both accounts or add another system and forget existing system? Haven’t set these up in a while. Thanks  Scott 

Obviously the system is picking up the track in the playlist from where it is held in my music folder but it does not play it fully, moving to the next track and repeating in the same way through all the tracks until the playlist is finished. Can anyone suggest a fix for the problem? Spotify playlists play OK through Sonos. 

Hi - looking for help.  I’m reasonably computer literate, have built my PCs.  My Sonos system is on S1, with two Connect amps, one connect, one Play 5, one Play3, 2 x CR200s, iPhone app and desktop app (win 11).I gave up on using my Synology NAS with my Sonos S1 system over a year ago as I couldn’t get it work with Sonos any more due to the SMB issues (after firmware update from Synology).  I’ve tried reading every related thread but I can’t make head or tail of most of it.  Is it now possible to connect to my Synology  NAS (SMBv2 I believe) or am I still locked out?  If there is no way to make this work with S1, my possible “solutions” seem to be :(1) put music on a USB drive connected to the router (my router doesn’t have a USB port though, and the possible new ISP I am looking into doesn’t provide one either)(2) keep music on my desktop PC and leave it on on all the time (don’t want to do this for obvious reasons)(3) Buy a low cost, preferably fanless mini PC, add it to the network

Hi, I’m looking for some help.  I’ve just purchased a Sonos Arc Ultra and find the bass a little low.  I don’t seem to have the ability to amend the bass in the EQ settings as everything is greyed out (see attached).   I’ve tried turning off TruePlay to no avail.  Can anyone help?
