Hello, Since the past few weeks, my Sonos roam would randomly disconnect from the app , running on android tablet and smartphone. Sonos roam is still connected to internet, since music keeps being played, I can still use voice command Google assistant and I can pause or adjust volume from third party app Google home. However I can't control Sonos roam from Sonos app and the app says that Sonos roam isn't connected .
Since I updated the app at the weekend my Sonos roam SL will not connect to my account. Switched off and on WiFi, factory reset have been tried. It gets discovered, links but when it gets to adding I getThere was a problem linking your Sonos Roam SL to your account.!Try again can anyone help?
I’m having an issue with low bass above 50% volume. Sounds great until the 50% mark, then the bass progressively gets lower as the volume goes up to 100%. By full volume there is basically no bass.Is this just a trait with this speaker or do I have an issue?Thank you.
Mi Sonos move 2 tiene problemas con el Bluetooth, el sonido va y viene aún el celular no pierda conexión. Moderator Edit: Google Translate- My Sonos move 2 has problems with Bluetooth, the sound comes and goes even though the cell phone does not lose connection.
Has anyone tried to connect a Mac Mini M1 to the Sonos Move 2 using the line in adapter and if so does it work? I’m tired of how my Mini always reverts my sound output from my Home Pod back to my Samsung speakers built into my monitor.
I just purchased the Move 2. Installed and works completely fine via Bluetooth but I cannot play it through the Sonos App. It always says Unable to Connect. My other devices work fine. Any real solutions out there? Thank you.
Why my Sonos sub mini is not showing if it’s connected to my internet
I have a Sonos move and connecting it has always been an issue. But I will just keep doing things like rebooting router, deleting the app, resetting and setting back up the network, etc. and eventually it seems to work. Definitely not a “Move” which is what I needed. This last time, though, it finally started connecting and I will get the message that it’s connected and it’s solid white on the speaker as it should be. But the app itself will not return to the menu so that I can play music. It just keeps saying it can find a system on the wifi and to join the system. I’ve tried to access help, the last time sitting for over 60 minutes on hold only to be told that the steps I’ve taken repeatedly are the only fixes they have. The issue is the app. Is there a magic way to get the app to return to the page where I can play music?(I have a play five and a play one and I kept them on the older system and the older app. I can play those)
Hello! I'm having trouble connecting my Sonos Move to Wi-Fi for the first time. When I want to do it, there is an error that says I can't connect my mobile device to the speaker. Is this solved with the mid-June app update? Or is it another type of problem?
my sonos roam sl don't wanna to updating
Since the update (nuff said!) the app no longer displays the remaining battery percentage in the device bar. It now takes 3 clicks to find that. This is such a basic requirement, I’m surprised that it hasn’t been restored by now.Is this planned for a future release?
After regular setup process device is not visible at Sonos App. It is not visible also after restart of device. Setup process was repeated after factory reset at two Android phones at two different wifi networks at 2.4GHz and also at 5 GHz but without success. After reset of App. Software (firmware) update was started but it couldn't completed.
I am SO frustrated with this thing. But I now think it’s an APP issue. I have an original ROAM with a charging base. I use it mainly out on our deck and grouped with speakers in the same area, ie: kitchen and family room. Lately every time I use it then place it on the charger for the night the next time I go to use the Roam, it isnt in the app. I have to do the main reset (12 Sec) then the roam will start playing whatever music the “group” that its not a part of is playing, App says that its there, but powered off or asleep, No amount of button pushing on Roam changes the app status but the music plays and volume is controllable from Roam. All the SONOS products are great,,,,, this thing has been a head ache from day one!!!! About to just relegate to a very expensive BT speaker. Any one have a fix? Again,, this time I think the issue is the app.
It’s been really frustrating with my 1st gen Roam. Ever since the new Sono App upgrade my roam will kick out several times during songs. It is pretty consistent and very frustrating. I was wondering if this is the new normal. The roam is essentially useless unless I use it as a bluetooth speaker. It is a part of the rest of my sonos ecosystem ( a port and an SL one) Can I send this piece of junk back to sonos?
Just wanted to make yet another thread about how disappointing it is to not have the ability to use the microphone to make phone calls. To all you people out there saying people should do their research, the Roam I got was a prize from work. This thing sounds amazing and it would be in my bag to take everywhere… but the microphone only works with an assistant. I saw on one thread that the user wanted to use this for conf calls and this is exactly what I wanted it for. I'm in sales and when I go to customer sites and have calls with engineers, etc. this would be perfect. Instead, it’s confined to my desk as a really fancy computer speaker. Swing and a miss Sonos. For anyone out there wanting a portable speaker for their phone, keep moving. For the very few people out there that have Sonos home systems and want the oddball function of playing music through your phone to other Sonos speakers… this is your expensive bluetooth dongle. I want to chat about this problem, but onlbot is online. So, i am without an answer. The problems occurred after the upgrade of the application. Initially Roam could not be connected synchronously with other Sonos speakers. So I reset Roam. After the reset, however, the app no longer registers Roam with the system. So now my Roam is only usable as a bluetooth speaker. I did not change the wifi settings. But I noticed that it is no longer possible to add another WIFI network, as it was possible in the old app.
Does anyone have an issue with Move 2 stopping playback when 2 or more products are added to the speaker group?
I tried to charge and start my Roam, but when I turned it on, NO POWER, so I tried to charge it with its USB-C cord and it would still NOT TURN ON! I can’t reach Sonos Support because I have to wait on phone for 65 minutes! Any ideas??
What’s the best way to connect my Sonia mu speakers to Bluetooth?
Hi. Got my first Sonos Speaker and problems from very begining.…1. Connectig via wifi via Sonos app and can't do it. After "conecting' app shows notification, than speaker has been conected but can be not visible in device list, and if that the case, than should turn off the speaker, turn it on again and set uo mode and add it, but once doing it, nothing hapens, no device being found. 2. Should I be able to connect Sonos via bluetooth without earlier setting up / connecting speaker via wifi ? If I try to change the mode via mode button to bluetooth, than no blue light appear, always white one.... Pls help as Im thinking about returning the speaker to the shop and broken one… Thank You!
All was fine with 16.1 but since 16.2 update, I can't add my roam to any groups. Keep getting the standard ‘unable to connect, try again later.' I can play music directly to the roam, just can't group it. Any thoughts?
I got a sonos sl roam which i can't use. It wont go to bluetooth mode only shows white light, it wont update software despite following instructions post errors being followed to the letter... generally think i should return it as i have not had this kind of issue setting up anything before. Tried tech support line but there was a 90 minute wait. So asking the community for advice
Received a Sonos move as a gift for fathersday and spend 24 hours trying to get it to connect. Still haven’t gotten it to connect even though I can see it connected to my home network the device does not show up in the Sonos app also spent about 3 hours on the phone with Sonos tech support no resolution. So happy I got the gift receipt back to the store . Device is GARBAGE
I connected 2 move 2s as a stereo pair for wifi. When I try connecting to them via Bluetooth, only one plays music. I know they can't play in a stereo pair over Bluetooth (kind of annoying since many cheaper Bluetooth speakers can) but one speaker literally won't play music. Even if I only connect to the one that has no audio via Bluetooth. I removed the stereo pair, then reset the speaker, and reconnected. Then both would play over Bluetooth. Once I made the stereo pair again, one wouldn't play music over Bluetooth again. It's like it's a master/slave or something once the stereo pair is made. I can connect to the one that plays no audio as I hear a chime when connected to Bluetooth, but no audio comes out.
With new software my Sonos won’t connrct
