I would like to purchase the Move 2. I’ve been told that I cannot downgrade the Move 2 to S1 app. I have a working and fantastic sounding audio setup with no need to update the ZP100 that drive my main audio setups. is this correct ? my current setup is 2 X ZP100 , Play 1 and Beam.
Whenever I try to group my roam room (which has only one speaker) to another room (I have two others: one with a play1 and one with two play5s and a sub), I get an error in the iOS app that it can’t connect. Grouping my other two rooms together works no problem. I can play music on the roam alone so connection to wifi isn’t the issue. I also haven’t been able to get through to Sonos support in a while so if anyone has suggestions for that too, let me know.
I have two Ones stereo paired with a sub mini (room 1) and two stereo paired roams (room 2), all of them grouped in my living room. All working seamless for music listening.Few days ago, I took the roams out to garden (they still hooked to the same wifi AP). Previoulsy I unticked the ones from the group so only roams would delivery music on the backyard area. Couple of minutes later my wife showed up at the garden saying I was driving her crazy with the deep bass inside the house, so I walked back in to realize the sub mini was playing along the roams! That happened only that time, couldnt repeat it again. After tick and untick the (room 1) one time all when back to normal.

Hi, Two questions. I have a pair of Sonos Move 1 speakers. How do I set both them to play stereo on my iPad or my mac-mini? If I can how, do I achieve this. I have spent hours trying to set them up for stereo, with no successes. And my second question is. Can I have more than one appliance on one speaker. What I want to do is have my iPad and Mac-mini play on Bluetooth on one speaker. I have also spent hours trying to set the iPad and Mac-mini on one of the speakers, with no successes. I have my iPhone on the other speaker.
I have a pair of Sonos Move speakers. I swapped batteries between the good one and the dead one. The good Move works fine with the battery from the dead Move. The dead Move is still dead. What should I do with my dead Move speaker? ~Jay
My Sonos Move 2 was purchased last year and has just stopped responding. It will not charge, no lights will come on. I hold the power button down for 20 seconds and still no response?
Why does my move keep disappearing from the system? I’m not tech savvy so, if anyone has any solutions for me, please keep it simple and in layman’s terms 🫣Thanks
At 100% on the move can hardly hear it at a distance
Is it ok to use 30W Google rapid charger with Roam? Don’t want to ruin the roam (or the charger) or worse.
Roam gone from sonos app. Successful factory reset done and orange light illuminated. Has been charging on sonos provided charger for 24 hrs. and orange light still illuminated, but roam not charged.
I'm trying to turn on my Sonos Voice Assistant with my Roam 2. I use Google assistant is that why I can't use Sonos Voice Assistant when I'm using my Roam 2?
I am using pandora. The Sonos app shows the music playing but no sound from the Move speker. Help
I currently have a Sonos amp powering a two sets of outdoor speakers. Can I also connect a Roam wirelessly with this configuration?
I hope I’m not going over something already discussed and resolved elsewhere but I’m new to this and don’t really know where to start. I have bought a Sonos Roam SL (SRSL) which I want to set up with bluetooth (not wifi in my home) to my iPhone 11. Sonos Roam SL (which I think may be a discontinued product ??) is not on the list of Sonos products when I set up an account so I’ve just selected Sonos Roam. I’m not the most up-to-date tech user but I think I’m not totally useless either, anyhow I think I’ve tried just about everything at least twice but nothing is working. In various places it refers to a blue light on the sonos but I have not seen a blue light - only red, green and white. I’ve also reset the speaker and started again. I have a Sonos system in my home using a Sonos 1 controller, also on the iPhone, and I don’t want to update to the Sonos 2 controller at home (which probably has nothing to do with all this anyhow) because I’m assured it won’t sound any better. For purpose
I have a bluetooth transmitter tied to my stereo amp. it’s an Avantree Oasis long range similar to this one: https://avantree.com/products/oasis-plus-bluetooth-transmitter-for-tv it pairs flawlessly with my Bose headphones and Bose mini speaker. (I use this mostly with my Cocktail Audio music streamer that now houses all my CDs, Casettes, 8-tracks, Reel to Reel, and vinyl!). When i pair with my Move, i get an acknowledgement tone from both devices but then nothing comes out of the Move. Very disappointed in this. I’ve placed the Move and the transmitter within two feet of each other, confirmed it is functioning with my Bose bluetooth devices, etc etc… Move Bluetooth works fine with my iPhone. Might there be some incompatibility between Bluetooth formats between the Move and the transmitter? I’m stumped.
I have a Sonos Roam SL, a Sonos One and a Sonos One SL. I have them all running through the app. I have the Sonos Roam SL bluetooth paired to a record player. I want to then push the audio to the One speakers that I have. Everything is updated software wise. So when I play the record, it plays in my Sonos Roam SL speaker. But when you look at my groups, you will see, it’s actually playing through the Roam, but the app shows it’s not selected, and the two One speakers are selected. However, only the Roam is playing music, and the Ones are not. So when I select the radio dial for the Roam, it cuts off all the music to the Roam and then nothing plays. I have to reset my whole entire system for it to work. I don’t know why this is happening, but it completely makes me want to have nothing to do with this system, toss it all, and go to a different company. Which is sad, as I actually love my speakers, but they do nothing for me half the time I want to to use them. So any advice would be app
I have 3 sonos amps (wired) and 1 sonos roam (wifi) in my system. Everything works together when streaming from online sources. However, when I connect the roam to bluetooth the roam works fine until I try to add in the other amps. At this point the bluetooth source stops and no further playback occurs. This used to work very well and now it is not working. Is this a result of the app upgrade that took place or something else? How can I get my roam working as a bluetooth source again?
The + and - volume buttons are not working on my move speaker.I think all icons on top no longer work.My speaker item is #616MOVEBK…4 years old.Any help is appreciated.
Roam 2 flashing green and white holding holding play/pause button and it is not detected
Hi community, I’m located in Melbourne, Australia. I purchased a Sonos move yesterday and spent all afternoon going around in circles trying to get it setup in the Sonos app using my home wifi, however I continually ran into the same error 1,101 with a caption “there was a problem checking for updates”. This occurs after I have added my wifi password to the Sonos. I have tried factory resetting the Sonos, I have tried on my neighbours wifi, we also tried to setup the Sonos is the shop, but ran into the same problem. The shop assistant also unboxed another Sonos move, however the same problem persisted. We believe we have ruled out issues with wifi and the unit, and suspect the problem must be with the iPhone application. I really do not want to change to Bose, so would be incredible appreciative if anyone has the answer? Thank you!
I just purchased Sonos move2 how can I register for the warranty thanks
I just bought the Roam auto charging device….No issues and am a very happy Sonos user, having a few other Sonos products. My question is, after I use the Roam, I turn it off and place it on the charger. It automatically turns itself back on….Two white lights. I figure this is normal but, do I have to keep turning the unit off if a few seconds later it’s going to turn back on, while on the charger. Can I leave it on all the time?I’m assuming leaving it on will be OK? Thanks in advance.
I’ve got 2 Roam speakers that I use at home. I’m staying at a friend’s place for a couple of weeks and want to set the speakers up here. I’ve recently got a new phone, I installed the Sonos app, but have never used it. I’ve tried to use the app to set the Roams up on the new network, and although I’m signed into my Sonos account on the app, it doesn’t seem to have any details of my speakers. I therefore don’t see the “system” to be able to update it with the new network details. I’ve tried adding speakers to the app, but the app seams unable to discover them. Any ideas on how this should work? Should I have connected to the speakers at home with the app on my new phone before coming away?
My move 2 quit responding with alexa voice control. I removed it from sonos app and removed move 2 from alexa app. Now the sonos app gets stuck trying to add alexa voice control. It gets stuck during the enable process at the login to alexa portion, then eventually times out with an error
