The on/off switch button has disappeared. I can see something inside the box of the speaker, but I can’t get hold of it. Anyone have this problem. Is this just shoddy engineering or what? Can I get a new one? Speaker isn’t of much use if you can’t turn it off or on. Right now it’s stuck in the on position.

I don’t recall anyone else reporting this issue. Is the unit within the warranty period?
If you are the DIY type, here is a disassembly video. Unfortunately this video does not get to the switch. Note that, if you disassemble, the unit will probably not be as water resistant as it once was.
Be a lot easier to replace the unit. I’m hopeful that someone will tell me where to get the piece. What I think might have happened is that that piece is just forced on the stump and it just flew off. These characteristics of the speaker have never been right.
