The on/off switch button has disappeared. I can see something inside the box of the speaker, but I can’t get hold of it. Anyone have this problem. Is this just shoddy engineering or what? Can I get a new one? Speaker isn’t of much use if you can’t turn it off or on. Right now it’s stuck in the on position.

I don’t recall anyone else reporting this issue. Is the unit within the warranty period?

If you are the DIY type, here is a disassembly video. Unfortunately this video does not get to the switch. Note that, if you disassemble, the unit will probably not be as water resistant as it once was.

Be a lot easier to replace the unit. I’m hopeful that someone will tell me where to get the piece. What I think might have happened is that that piece is just forced on the stump and it just flew off. These characteristics of the speaker have never been right. At any rate thanks so much for your reply.
