Already said, but have to get it off my chest. New app stinks. But needed to get it off my chest. Trying to add to queue, thought it was me, but turned out to be Sonos. You have a loyal community, and you are about to blow it.
I went to turn on my system yesterday and noticed that 3 speakers and my Sonos amp were missing from my profile. I have around 10 speakers and one amp. I tried to add them back but they were not found by the app. So I factory reseat them. The Beam added back but the Ray continued to have issues. Once I had them added back a few minutes past and they disappeared from my app again. these are all store bought with no previous owners. anyone see this before.

Terrible decision to change a great app. Wasn’t this tested at all before releasing it?
Wait, you are phasing out the desktop app in favor of a web app?? I live in a remote area, and Sonos has always worked without internet, our internet sucks at times. So without a desktop app, how will Sonos reach my large music file on my computer? This isn't what I wanted when I invested money in speakers. Will be looking at other options and not buying any more Sonos if this is the case. Why are you guys destroying what Sonos was supposed to be? Sounds like you are losing lots of customers this way....
Since the New ‘improved’ app came out and the latest firmware releases All my speakers are horribly unreliable.I also can no longer stream Apple music . i have removed and reset and reinstalled and factory reset and re-added and reregkstered and still extreme disfuntion. heck for a while my beam and Sub mini were coming on and off at extreme volumes and was incredibly annoying ( hard power cycle has seemed to help that one ) I am to the point i may take them all to Goodwill and let some other poor soul experience these things . Surely, i am not the only one !!! I know sorry i won’t call you Shirley…
I can not Update my speaker. There is a constant loop saying log in to owner account. But nowhere to log out. Come on Sonos. You must solve this. Now
I got a prompt today on my SONOS app saying that an upcoming version of the App would remove support for some kind of local files. Unfortunately I neglected to save a screenshot. Does anybody know what this is about?
I can’t believe with the technology out there the upgrade is worse than what it was. Skipping a song or adjusting the volume takes 30 seconds and we have a great WiFi connection. Can you please fix asap? It’s terrible

In one of the few responses out of the many questions asked at the AMA yesterday, there was mention of new cloud services and speaker control from the web.Does anyone know more about the security model used here?Is there any guidance around what ports need to be blocked if you *never* want access outside of your home?

Click like if you want sonos to roll back the latest app release...we don't want to wait for your bug fixes we want function we had last week. Roll back, do better , then re-release.

Another was the first song ever played on a Sonos speaker.I joined Sonos after the special edition Beastie Boys Five was released, and I only understood the importance of it once I heard the story in the podcast. When I bought my first Sonos speaker in 2010 or ‘12 I gave Sonos the benefit of the doubt. Company is new.. working out the kinks… but 14 years later and the newer devices I bought in 2018 still be struggling?? Occasionally people change their WiFi setup. Why must it be such an arduous task to get these damn WiFi speakers to connect to WiFi?!?!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬quit spending resources on beautifying the app… just make the speakers connect to the damn WIFI!!! Or Bluetooth, or WHATEVER… it boggles my mind that Tesla can update how a car drives over the air, as can apple, as can EVERY DAMN DEVICE I OWN… except Sonos, the WiFi speakers… don’t connect to WiFi!!!!
I’ve ordered a Beam , but can’t find anything about delivery anywhere. Can someone point me in the right direction?
So, I know this topic has been discussed a gazillion times already. But I’m really getting upset by this. Why does there have to be a delay when using Sonos (Five or Amp for example, I’ve owned both) in standalone mode? 8/10 times my usecase for Sonos is casual listening via streaming services. But 2/10 times I want to use Sonos for live instrument playback. Such as a drum machine and other stuff I own. Or for desktop/youtube playback. I’ve spent literally hours searching for the best speaker setup for casual multiroom usage and some small birthday dancing and an input for live instruments. It exists, but I’d have to leave Sonos and go for Denon. But I would rather not. The minimum of 50-75ms delay in standalone usage for the Sonos Amp and Five is completely unnecessary. It forces me to have an extra pair of Yamaha hs7 at hand, while I’d rather get an Sonos Five instead. Hi, I received an email today inviting to take part in a user research study from research@reasearch.sonos.com saying if selected I’d get the choice of $250 towards Sonos products or a Sonos move 2. looks suspect to me (particularly as I’m in the UK) - I don’t get many emails from Sonos so just wanted to check if rings any bells with anyone else?Thanks
