Sonos sub not connecting after Arc and SLs are connected fine
I picked up my Sonos Sub and Sonos Arc earlier this summer. Everything was working fine over the last few months. Picked up a couple of SLs on Cyber Monday to attach to my system, and it’s been horrible:one SLs weren’t recognized, and only left one eventually connected I had to disconnect the sub in order for the one SLs to finally connect tried to reconnect the sub with zero luck restarted the iphone hard reset the sub by unplugging it and holding the link button down reset the modem Sub is trying to connect with flashing green, and iPhone can see it but it completely times out when connecting I added the LAN connection with a bit of pain and still no connectionThis is massively painful - have read all the troubleshooting guides, and the only thing I haven’t tried is unplugging the Arc and One SLs as well.Any ideas out there??
echo dot 3 rd gen & Sonos Beam setting up
Just bought Sonos Beam, sound is brilliant but mic is poor. We have a Sonos One controlled by Amazon echo dot, it was set up by a friend and works perfectly. I bought the beam and a 3 rd gen echo dot hoping it would be ok. I am about to give up and return the both after a very frustrating few hours trying to get it sorted. Unfortunately the friend who set the Sonos one and dot up is no longer around to help. I’ve asked a couple of others with mixed views ...no it can’t be done is the last view. The main reason for the echo dot controlling it is the Beam is in a unit under the tv, and mic reception is very poor. Any advice appreciated, I need to sort it quickly or I’ll just send it back for a refund.
Audio Skips - Sonos Beam + LG Oled
I have sonos beam connected to sonos amp (rear ceiling speakers) for living room. Both are ethernet connected. I then have a 4 port hdmi switcher in between tv and nvidia shield/xbox/switch. Every now and then Ill get some glitch where have to go into LG oled to turn on and off a bunch of hdmi settings. Today randomly we started getting constant stuttering. Of course switching to tv sound fixed issue. Tried removing 4 port switch and still have issue. Was working fine before. Builder put in permanent hdmi/ethernet behind fireplace so Im pretty screwed with swapping hdmi cable if it went bad. I guess I need to connect directly to tv to see if cable issue. I just dont know why all of a sudden we got this issue. Diagnostic info 2131050412
How to connect Sonos Beam to an Optima HD141x projector with no Optical or HDMI Arc
Hi, I have a new sonos beam and an old Optima HD141X projector. The projector has an audio out, HDMI 1/ MHL, HDMI 2 and 3D Sync out S5 as well as mini USB as per the photo attached. I would like to get the beam connected to the Optima projector. What is the best way to do this to ensure best sound quality and also to keep voice control (Alexa)? The beam requires an optical or an HDMI Arc as far as I can tell. Do I need to buy an HDMI Arc converter or some form of HDMI to optical converter? If so what will give the best sound quality? I am planning on having a play 5 (gen1) , a play 3 (gen 1) and the new beam all in the same room. The Play 3 is currently using wired to the projector via the audio in (on the play 3) to audio out (on the projector) connector.I want to create as best a surround sound quality as I can. Thanks all.
Arc + sonos sub (gen3) does not let me add sonos one
I already had the sonos arc+ sub(gen3) connected to my TV. And it works fine. I just wanted the little extra experience of the all surround. I bought 2 sonos One.When i added these to the app, and tried to put them in the same room as the arc and sub. the app created an additional room for it with a number 2 (tvroom2). The app also says it cannot find two compatible sonos speakers if i try to set up surround. they are powered on and connected to the wifi. I am able to connect my sub to the sonos one speakers, but not the sonos arc for some reason. Any suggestions?
Sonos Beam dual voltage?
I recently bought a Sonos Beam at Costco and was wondering if this is Dual voltage (AC100-240V)? I travel and would like to be able to use this in Singapore where they use 220V. It would be great if someone actually bought this in the uS and brought it to either Europe or Asia also give some feedback. Thanks

Samsung + Arc + eARC issue
Hi, As many other people I am having issues with a Samsung TV and Arc setup. Everyday sounds is cutting out until I restart the Arc (which should have a way to restart from Sonos app instead of unplug and plug the power cord) I have a Samsung Q959TS with software 1403 and I have submitted diagnostic under 1445706949. I bought both TV and Arc 2 months ago and I have regret that from day one. Please let me know if you find something in diagnostics or if there is anything I can do thank you
Sonos Arc switches to TV speaker
My Sonos ARC has been playing fine. However, occasionally when I turn off my system (TV & Cable Box) and later turn it back on I only get sound from my TV speakers. I then have to disconnect (Unplug) my TV, Cable Box and the Sonos ARC for 30 seconds. When I plug everything back in and turn on the system I then get sound from my Sonos ARC. This happens about 3 times a week. My Sonos ARC is connected to my Samsung Q7FD series TV via HDMI ARC. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Playbar - basic sound quality
Dear community I am new owner of Sonos Playbar, I have just installed it today under my Sony Bravia Android, I have replaced it with my old 2.1 JVC sound bar which was given me a lot better sound, I tried to find some sound settings to maybe lift up bass or so but I could not find it so at the moment I have basics sound which even is worse compare to sound from my TV, please advise if I have done something wrong or it is how it is, I was really expecting premium sound from that expensive sound bar
Audio out issue
HelloI have a Toshiba 40L3451DN tv and have just purchased a Sonos Beam. This tv has no arc ports and no optical port. It does have a spdif coaxial and ability to change headphone output to lineout. Sub wifi (working but not working)
Hello all I am new to the Sonos family and so far very happy (when it works) my issue is with this brand new sub gen 3. firsrly on occasion it will just work but it takes a lot of work to get there and if I do a simple router restart I then have to start the whole process over again.it is important to note that YES the sub is connecting to the WiFi router and according to my router statistics the signal is “Excellent”. Another note to make is that Yes I have tried 2.4 ghz and 5ghz and it makes no difference. I have screen shots of the sub showing up or even at the end of setup asking me to reboot the sub for the app to see it. it is quite frustrating can any one direct me if they have the same issues. I just bought this and am thinking Sonos have a dud and it needs replacement.
Can’t add speakers to Arc setup
Hi allI’m praying that you guys can help me out, as I’m at my wits’ end here.Trying to setup a new Arc/One SL/Sub system.Even just adding the Arc doesn’t seem to come without its issues. The S2 app prompts me to Connect to TV - in this case, an LG CX. I’m hooked up to the eArc input. Connection will fail in the app, which informs me that something is interfering with the HDMI connection. I’ve removed all other devices, yet this persists. However, the TV settings still allow me to select Passthrough and eArc, and the bar does appear to work okay. So I’m more just curious if this is expected behaviour, or should the app still be reporting a successful connection? The far bigger issue, is that I simply cannot add my additional speakers to the Arc afterwards.Every speaker is powered, with a flashing green LED, and they’re showing up as ready to be connected in the app. I’ve tried with and without SonosNet. It can see them, it knows they’re there, but it can’t talk to them or form a handshak
Wifi stopped working immediately.
I recently bought sonos Arc and two Sonos one with microphone. When I connected the setup after sometime my wifi stopped working and I have no internet since then, yesterday. I am using Netgear Night Hawk D7800 and not sure what’s the problem. My internet had no trouble what so ever before connecting this full setup. I have a feeling that Sonos wifi connection is interfering with the wifi signal and causing the problem. Can someone help. Thanks.
PLAYBAR will not connect to DrayTek router
so i swapped out my bt homehub 5a with OpenWRT for a draytek 2762ac, i enabled 5G and 2.4G, on the 2.4G channels i kept the SSID the same name, i kept the password the same.i messed about for ages trying to move it to the new wifi, i reset it, reset the app, many times, each time it connects and tells me that its all setup but then never shows in the appi see it has a DHCP IP address, my phone is on the same network during the setup etc.any ideas ? i spoke with support chat they told me to remove band steerring etc, enable upnp (nope) and a few other things that the router seemed to have set already but the weird thing is that it seems connected as i see it in the arp table and dhcp table but the app never sees it, the app (IOS) has full network access.i am lucky in that i can connect it via an ethernet cable but even though i can im not sure why it would suddenly stop working on wifi
Help! Not happy with set-up Port + Pro-ject TT
Hi everyone,I just bought a Port to connect my Pro-ject Debut Recordmaster with built-in amp to my Sonos ecosystem (I have 2 Ones and a Beam). Everything seems to be working BUT the volume is ridiculously low. I’ve set the volume of the Port to level 10 in the app (at the suggestion of the store where I bought it), and then at it’s loudest and it’s still very very modest. No such problems when I play digital, Spotify or use my TV. I spent 800 bucks on both the Port and TT in order to play my vinyl collection but the result is subpar - what am I doing wrong???
No surround sound on Beam and 2 One's from TV.
I have a beam and two One’s (not the SL versions) in a surround setup. They show correctly in the app and if I play music through the app, I get sound out of all three speakers. However, I mostly watch a PC connected to the TV, the PC is set to output 5.1 but when playing the audio test the rear speaker sounds are coming out of the Beam, not the appropriate One.Setup is PC connected to the television over HDMI (Port 1), beam is connected to Television via ARC HDMI port (Port 2).This is my partner’s Sony 50” television so not sure of the model number. We’re replacing my AV Amp with the Sonos which was previously working with the surround sound.I’ve been through all the options and can’t see anything obvious I’m missing, been through the TV menu’s and there’s little to do with the audio but have tried flicking things and setting them back in hope of getting rear sound.
Sonos Move pairing with Beam
Hi all, First of all I‘m not native English speaking. However, I‘m really disappointed by Sonos (Move) when it comes to pairing possibilities Sonos :-(It basically doesn‘t offer a proper pairing with my current setup: 1x Beam, 1xSub and 2x Sonos One. It‘s obviously possible to group rooms, but the Sonos Move lags in this setup some milliseconds. If I‘m listening i.e. EDM the bass is not properly in sync. It feels like you would be in a arena somehow. Is there any way to fix this? Many thanks
