Bought a Beam 2 get to the location step and the error update issue pops up. I have reset the beam and WiFi countless times same issue reoccurs

Ever since the updated app rolled out my Roku remotes no longer control the volume of my Playbar (2 of them). It says the remotes are paired, but they don’t do anything. Are there any plans to fix this?

I am setting up our theatre with Sonos of course and I am now wondering if I’ve over done it or even weather it will work…We have an Arc and 3 pairs of One Sl’s up front, three each side of the screen, two subs behind the back seat, a pair of left and right one sl’s for the rear on stands with wall mounted era300’s at the rear as well…Still in the installation and purchasing process… might be too late since I’ve already committed the cash but how do I make this work?

I have Sonos Immersive Set with Arc. In the latest Sonos app basic True play Tuning option is available but when you complete the basic tuning then the app don’t display the option for advance Trueplay tuning in which you move around the room and do that speaker calibration. Tell me how to enable that so I can do that speaker advance calibration.

I’m looking to add to my Sonos products to connect to my 4k projector.  I want to know if they need to be hard wired? How to do this, and what’s needed.  I must add, I won’t be using a sound bar for this room. Just 2 front and 2 rear speakers.  all help is appreciated.  thanks

I’m replacing my Era 100’s as surrounds with Era 300’s.I think I’ve mistakenly selected remove surrounds in the app. The 300s are on the system, in the same room, but not paired as stereo speakers (I think).When I try to add them as surrounds it goes through all the motions but then stops and says there was a problem connecting my surrounds.I can’t a way of removing them and starting again.Has anyone any suggestions?Many thanks, Dermot

My Beam 2 has a roughly half-second delay in audio. I have the Audio Delay settings on both my TV and Sonos app set to zero. The video plays before the audio and I cannot find a setting to reduced Audio Delay. I can only increase it. Help?

Hello, I recently bought a Symfonik lamp from ikea. i wanted to use it as a surround speaker with either a bookshelf or a sonos one sl. Is this possible? 

I've got two systems. System one: LG TV (LG65SK9000PUA), Arc, and two Era 100. System two: Samsung TV (uncertain on the model) with an arc, and a firestick.On system one, the audio is behind. TV audio sync slider is all the way to the left. I've restarted the DirecTV stream device (Gemini Air which is a Chromecast like device). So far, nothing has fixed this. Upon searching in the forums, I've found numerous posts about this particular issue.I did a chat with support, but that didn't accomplish anything. I mentioned the posts in the forum about this issue. The audio on system one is always out of sync regardless of whether I watch TV through the DirecTV stream device or use the DirecTV app on the firestick. No problem with watching TV on system two. At this point, I've reached out to DirecTV who has supposedly refreshed things on their end and had me restart the streaming device several times. Nothing changed with that, and I've reached out to Sonos support and nothing has changed on t

Anyone having this issue with the update? My LG remote for my c2 will no longer control volume no matter what fix I try. I have attempted everything I can find on google. The volume up/down symbol shows on the television but volume stays the same. The only remote that works to control volume is now my google tv remote.  Fairly annoying when it has worked perfectly the past year and a half. I have an arc, two SL and the sub.  thanks

I had the Beam gen 2 setup fine over wireless, it even did the update without issue.Now when trying to add the sub, it manages to appear in the app showing “not registered” but when going to try and fix it, the update requirement comes up and continuously throws the same error.I have it on ethernet, I’ve factory reset it multiple times and it still fails.Sometimes I will get error 1000 after going back and trying again a few times.

I just bought a set of Era 300s and wall mounts as surrounds and need to turn the speakers because I need to install them near the ceiling.But how on Earth am I supposed to open that screw to turn the mount? I already nearly stripped the head of the screw (it is slightly stripped) and I definitely had the right screw head. If I had used a power tool it’d literally be screwed by now. I even tried to turn it clockwise for the other mount in case it’s a wrong-handed screw, but nope. At this rate I need to drill an screw remover into that screw and get a new from somewhere. Have you guys actually done this?

Purchased a Sonos Ray. Followed all the promps on connection and when I enter password for network asks me to select room which I do. Then tries to update and throws error 1101 which seems to me like the Ray isn’t getting internet from router. After it fails I can’t find the device again. Have to reset Ray and follow promps on app again but still throws same error. Multiple devices tried using app and same issue and error. I’ve checked the list of non compatible routers and mine is all good. Is there a setting on the router to help get it to connect and do the update? Or is it best to go buy a Ethernet cable to be able to start using Ray? 

After being away from home for about one month and changing my phone in the meantime I came home and noticed my Sonos system was not working. I consider myself somewhat tech savvy so I thought - no problem, I will just re-add the system. Should take no more than 2min...WRONG!I just spend 2 hours yesterday and better part of today’s afternoon troubleshooting what is the issue. I browsed the internet long and wide and tried all possible settings on my router only to give up and come to this forum...Then it hit me. Its the app.It hasn’t even crossed my mind that the new app could possibly be the issue, but sadly it is. I am thoroughly disappointed by Sonos since I used to like it so very much. Hope this gets solved, otherwise Sonos system is useless junk in my home.

I moving house and looking at a new setup Sonos Arc and Sub for the AV setup and a sonos amp connected to 6 celling speakers for music.Can I use the sub with the Arc for AV then when listening to music use it with the speakers vai the amp?I think it looks like I’d need 2 subs to do this which seems like a step backwards from current AV receiver and speaker setup when the main point in Sonos is integration, have I understood correctly? 

Hi all,I recently replaced my Beam Gen 1 with a Gen 2 and, since then, I have noticed a popping/crackling sound whenever I start and stop videos on my Apple TV. I observed this behavior in Netflix and Prime.  How many in ceiling speakers can the Arc support. I have a large room, and palnning to add upto 6 ceiling speakers. Is that a overkill?

If I buy a Sonos soundbar can my in-ceiling speakers (powered by an Amp in the basement) be somehow linked to be surrounds?  If so, which soundbar should I get? Thanks!  

I'm Japanese.I'm translating and asking questions. I want to make a new connection to set up Trueplay of sonos arc, but no matter how many times I try, I can't proceed without downloading the update. I tried all the solutions written in the support. Is there anyone who can solve this problem?

Can you connect 1 era 300 to a Sonos Ray or do you need to have 2 era 300???

New to the sonos eco system and very very impressed!!!    Bought a new LG C3 in December and started with a Beam Gen 2. Have a very small family room it’s in, the Arc would have been a little too much I think. Sounded great but I “wanted more” LOL!!  Got a pair of Era 100’s and hooked them up as surrounds yesterday and yeah they definitely brought more life to watching!.  My question is I have them set to full for music in settings but the beam still plays.  Is there a way to get them to play music without the beam playing as well?

Hello, I paires my beam gen 2 with 2 ERA 300 as sourround speaker.Evything went well, but i test several Netflix or Disney plus movies, and it seems that thé sound from thé 2 ERA 300 is too quiet.Dis i miss something ?I'm on Android, but do true play should correct it. Thanks for your help, because right now thé 2 ERA 300 are useless.

My new ray is driving me crazy.I set the device up with the new app. It's prompting me for an update but then comes up with Error 1000 and can't update the device. What is worse is that it only allows me the prompt for the update and so I'm locked out of the other devices on my system.Any help VERY gratefully received. ThanksModerator edit: corrected typo
