Can I pair the Sonos Mini Sub to the Arc?

My Sonos Arc has been installed in my media wall at home - I have just had to change my internet provider and I need to re sync the Arc to use its features - HOWEVER - I cannot get to the rear of the unit with disassembly of the total media wall (inbuilt fire - tv - shelving units etc ) - Is there anyway of re connecting to the Arc without access to the rear of the unit ??

I have an Arc, Dual Gen 3 Subs, and two Era 300s bonded in a home theater configuration. I have ethernet drops near all of the components, so I thought, what the heck, why not hardwire them in and disable their RF radios. Turns out, the Era 300s don’t give an explicit option to disable their radios, but Sonos has said that if you connect ethernet to them, they will disable their radios automatically. Makes sense. I go ahead and set everything up, wire everything in, and disable the radios on the Arc and Subs. After this, I noticed that the surround audio coming from the Era 300s is choppy, and I did not see much ethernet traffic passing though either ethernet adapter connected to the Eras (or the switch port these adapters are connected to). I checked the speaker’s network diagnostic information (http://IPADDR:1400/support/review), and I see that for both Eras, there is an active ethernet link, but if I look under /proc/ath_rincon/status, I see that the Atheros radio is still connected

Als ik mijn tv samen met ziggo next in stand-by zet raakt hij verbinding kwijt met sonos. Stekker tv eruit en erna erin dan doet alles het weer. My Current Set Up: Beam GEN 1 paired with SUB MINI + 2 PLAY 3 (Sorrounds). Question: I am now adding SONOS ERA 300 (1 No) : Is it better to pair the SUB MINI with ERA 300 or just add ERA 300 as a normal speaker and retain the SUBMINI + GEN1 Pairing ?Question: 2 By adding ERA 300 as a normal speaker - will ATMOS experience dilute ? or will it be better if paired with SUB MINI   

I have had Sonos speakers around my home for a while. I finally got around to Purchasing the Beam Gen 1 direct from Sonos on the 5th May 22. All of my other Sonos products work faultlessly. The remainder of my network is strong and works faultlessly.   The Sonos Beam however only connects for 20mins or so. Eventually it freezes completely and I have to factory reset in order to wake it up. The problem is exactly the same if you are using WIFI or a Cable connection.  After being told to buy a new Router, over 20 hours of fault finding and 7 hours on the phone to Sonos. The problem is exactly the same. Sonos still believed it was my network at fault.  After 2 weeks I was able to “escalate” my fault to a return. Great they will replace it.    Would you believe the link I was sent for the return doesn’t work.  I am now in week 3 after purchase of The Beam and I am still yet to experience it.  My question being does anyone have a Gen 1 Beam they are happy with? Hello everyone,I currently use the Sonos Port connected to my TV via a Toslink fiber link (with an RCA/Fibre converter) and it allows me to hear the TV sound on every speaker in my house (3x One SL and 2x ERA 100).I plan to purchase the Sonos ARC and connect it to my TV via an HDMI ARC/eARC link, and no longer use the Sonos Port.I would like to know if the SONOS ARC also allows the sound of the TV to be played on all speakers ?(not only those configured in home theatre).Thank.G.

So I’ve had Sonos for almost 10 years. My Playbar and Sub has been running all that time with zero issues. I might have gad to connect my Sub once or twice in all that time. Playbar is still running perfectly today. In December last year I decided to treat myself and finally get those One SL’s as surround sound (late to the party). It was great for the first 2 months.Then all of the sudden they started acting up. They disconnected. One connected the other one didn’t. Then they worked. I had to reboot router several times a week and restart my speakers and do the reconnect. I struggled with that for a month. Then suddenly one of the speakers just didn’t want to connect anymore. I spent two days with support and they finally decided to send me a new one. They messed with my network (which wasn’t an issue before and never has been) and the new speaker came and everything got connected and it worked. Sort of. It never runs smoothly. Sometimes they disappear in the app, and only one speaker

I am having trouble getting the surround songs to work.  I had to reset all the speakers, they are now connected as a ‘system’ but only sound comes out of the Arc. The tv is set up as dolby as are the apps, doesn't matter what tv channel or programme I watch,  no sound.  I have reset the speakers about 5 times - it seems to be since I got a new router. I've also had to set the router up as 2.4GHz to actually get them all to connect.  Any ideas?

Hi, I bought Samsung s95c tv and have been frustrated with connecting audio to Sonos arc.  I've been trying unplugging / plugging etc. No matter what i try, the audio drop out all the time. Seems that TV notice an error and switch back to tv speakers. Hdmi-cable is in eArc-connection in Samsung One connect box. TV diagnostic suggests to buy better cable, but i have the cable included in the Sonos arc package. I've seen similar issues, but is there a real fix for this problem available or can the reason really be the cable? Sonos Arc with same cable worked fine with previous TV. 

Hi All,I have seen many posts in here about issues with Samsung TVs and Sonos ARC in the area of eARC, Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) and Dolby Atmos. Especially the TVs that have a “One Connect Box” like The Frame or the High End ones like my brand new Samsung S95C 77 Inch. Who would have thought, that after operating a 8 Year old Samsung UE65KS9080 9-Series 65” Curved TV flawlessly with the Sonos ARC for years, that I would run into such issues with the new high end Model from Samsung which literally costs thousands of Dollars. It also seems nobody has really found a long lasting fix for the issue or figured the root cause. Hi all. I’m about to pull my hair out and haven’t been able to find the information I need. I have a Samsung UN70TU700DBXZA 70” Smart TV purchased new in 2021. My Sonos setup is a Playbar > Connect Amp > Surrounds via the optical output on the TV. I know this is older equipment but haven’t had issues. At some point I had this working on my previous older Samsung that I shattered when I last moved, but I’m not sure what’s happening this time. My current TV is a newer model. My Apple TV and PS4 are set to output DD5.1. On the Sonos App I can see the Playbar is receiving Stereo PCM. If I run an app like Netflix on the smart TV itself the Playbar switches to receiving Dolby Digital 5.1 over the optical cable. It seems the TV does output DD but not from the HDMI inputs. The TV menu only offers “PCM”, “Auto”, and “Pass-Through” - although Pass-Through is greyed out. I have tried multiple HDMI cables from my devices to the TV. I have ensured my external devices are set to Dolby Digital.

Hi,I resently disconnected my Sound base and now connected my Amp with two passive speakers and two Sonos One. It works well in surround but is a bit annoying when I just want to listen to stereo from the passive speakers alone when playing music from other sources. I know I can go in the Sonos App and switch off surround manually but is there a way to set up two groups. One surround group with Amp+passive+2xOne always automatically switching one with the TV (Connected to Samsung 2024 model with HDMI Arc) and then another group with just the Amp and the two passive speakers for when I play music without the TV. I have two other Sonos speakers in the kitchen and in the dining room.BrgdsClaus 

Can you connect the amp wirelessly to an LG TV 32LQ63006LA. Unfortunately the TV is an after thought to our renovation, the ceiling speakers/amp cables are hidden within ceilings and walls. (Speakers and Amp are 3mths old) I suspect this can’t be done? Or is there a third party accessory that can be used i,e. BluetoothLook forward seeing responses and suggestions  

 I have the soundbar speakers  they are Bluetooth they hook to my WiFi network but I change my WiFi password I don’t know how to fix them I go to the app it won’t let me do nothing.  I change to a fiber network    What should do ?

The sound bar stopped working after I turned off the TV and turned it back on.  Nothing had changed otherwise.

So a bit of a weird set up here and looking for advice. I have a tv mounted to the ceiling and it can swivel 360. I I have a beam gen 1 that I have mounted under the tv (so it can swivel with the tv)that is almost directly in the center of the room.   on one end of the room is my couch and coffee table where I have the play 1s set up as the surrounds with the tv and beam turned  toward the couch. On the exact opposite wall I have my bed facing the couch so I can turn the tv 180 and watch tv in bed. What would be the best way to set ip the Sonos? It's a bit weird having the surround sound coming from the opposite wall directly in front of me instead of behind me when I'm laying in bed. 

Hi all,  my sub mini (with arc/2x play 1s as surrounds) doesn’t make any noise at all.  ********** Diagnostic raised.  I turned it all off and on again like a good IT geek.  I can’t remove the sub mini nor the surrounds from the arc, I get errors in both attempts.  I factory resetted the sub mini.  I updated the software.  I’m  out of ideas! I think my image below is wrong from the Sonos Amp to the TV.  And I need help. The Sony Bravia 9 I am planning to purchase has one HDMI Arc port.  Before I run speaker wire I want to make sure this setup gets me where I want to be.  How do I connect the amp to ensure my speakers can be used as rear surround speakers?  Today I have issues with my amp being remote in another room but powering two rear speakers.  I’ve never gotten it to connect as surrounds and hold the connection the way it is supposed to.  We are moving and I have an opportunity to set this up with a better design.    

I had to factory reset my living room speakers because they all disappeared from the app. I have the Arc and Sub added together but the Era 300s added themselves es to seperate living rooms in the app. How do I get them added to the living room with the Arc and Sub?

Hi all,I’m wondering if anyone can help, I’ve tried restarting both the router, TV and Sonos system. Everything is hardwired with Ethernet connections.The Arc keeps losing connection and then jumps to the TV sound system until it reconnects back again. It happens on normal TV and apple TV. So it doesn’t discriminate between the source. Happens maybe every 10-20mins of viewing, so fairly frustrating. We’re also having issues when streaming music, it basically stops to a huge stutter like a drum and base beat and the ends. It’s been absolutely fine for months and nothing has changed in terms of set up. Any tips, please?
