So I had a question regarding automatic connecting through the Sonos app. I currently have a near seamless connection once I navigate through the app and click a couple of things. But I have a problem with the fact that once the TV has been powered on, I have to manually connect my roam 2 stereo setup to the beam.
Now at last the question, is it possible at all to automatically connect the stereo paired roams to the Beam once it plays audio from the TV?

There is a TV Autoplay and an Ungroup on Autoplay option in room settings. Make sure Ungroup is de-selected.
