I am building a master bedroom suite with a small home theater area.  I would like to use in wall speakers and Sonos Amps and a subwoofer for the system.  However, I understand the Sonos Ace headphones will not work with the Sonos Amp.  Is there a plan to upgrade the Sonos Amp in the near future to be compatible with the Ace?  If so, I could proceed as planned and just switch out one of the Amps to the newer model when it becomes available.

I can’t control the volume on the playbar with my Samsung TV RF remote control. The TV is connected to the Playbar with the optical cable. Is it because it can’t be don with a RF remote control or is there anything else to do? Thanks for your help 🙏 Best regards Thomas 

I have the Sonos Arc, 2 Era 300s and 2 Sub Gen 3s. I recently purchased the Sonos Arc Ultra. I have a theater room and a living room. Would you replace the Sonos Arc in the theater room which is connected to the Era 300s and subs with the Arc Ultra, or would you put the arc ultra it in its own room if it isn’t going to be combined with the others. If i replace the Arc with the Arc Ultra, i will simply use the regular arc in the living room by itself

Arc Ultra with 2x 300 ERA surrounds and dual subs. Music is horrible, no bass response on subs and mid range is missing completely. Sounds like an old AM radio. Is this a problem with the app? 

Sounds like this is a design flaw, but my Sonos beam is wall mounted.   the hdmi cable seems lose in the port and therefore the soundbar looses connection.  any fixes?

Can I use am Amp to connect existing in ceiling speakers to my Sonos Arc plus Era 300s? The house we’re in has them already in the den’s ceiling. Where should I place the Amp? How’s the best way to connect and sync everything?

I try to configure my tv remote control with ny sonos ray and it seems to work, message configuration successful, but later it doen t work, I try again and happens the same

Hello everyone! I’m new to the community forum, so sincere apologies if this conversation is being repeated.Jumped on the Sonos band wagon for the Ultra, as in my mind it could only be better than the ARC, even if incremental — so far I’m struggling with the sound, all I’m getting is, very tinny, hollow vocals and lacking any refined mids, they are non existent as far as i’m concerned. It’s all a bit of a incohesive sound combined with Sub Gen3…could this be down to the mini integrated sub robbing some of the lower frequency from the crossover?I have tried all the required configurations as per Sonos, but it’s still coming up short for a £1000 upgrade.Solo, it’s okay-ish, but still very bright, hollow and tinny on the vocals (notable with actors that have deep vocals), it’s not a well rounded sound...two words, “no weight”. This was the very reason I sort to upgrade, for vocal projection on movies, because if there was one fix for the ARC it would be vocal presence on lower volume, it

I have just purchased a Sonos Ray. When I set the output of my tv to audio system, trying to adjust the volume the onscreen display increases or decreases the number but the sound level doesn’t change when using my tv remote. What am I not doing?

some years ago one of the bands I follow released their albums with a remaster and it comes in 5.1 surround I want to make the most of my blue ray player here and set it up once in a while to play thesei have an older play bar connected to the tv the blue ray player is attached to then I can add my sub mini and the pair of Play 1’s I have - I assume it would be Playbar - centreSub mini - subwoofer Play 1’s - rear channels am I right in thinking Sonos will just auto adjust the 5.1 surround to meet what it has ? 

Hi, the Era 300s are coming soon and I think I'll connect them as Surround to my Beam 2 and the Sub mini. Only now I have the Era 100s as surround and I'd like to keep them in Stereo. I realized that I have to remove them and then pair them in stereo. And I think I also have to see as if they were in another room otherwise the Era 300s won't go into atmos. How do I do it all? When streaming movies my playbar audio stutters badly. Turning off/on the power fixes the problem until I pause or change movies.  connected to a Samsung TV through a sourcebox.  no problems with xbox, Nintendo or music.  also no problems on same network connected to my lg tv. 

Hello, First time posting and most recently first time Sonos buyer. I purchased a Sonos Arc Ultra and I am in love with it. Only ever used TV speakers before so this was a very welcomed change.  I have a 30% of coupon that I can use from my neighbor and I am wanting to get a sub 4 or Era 300. I think the era 300 will do me best as the sub in the arc ultra is good enough for now lol in my house. Only problem is that I can't put the speakers behind my couch only to the side of me about 1’ away from the views heads. Is it worth it or just get the sub 4 and forgo the surround for now.  Also I would love to do Best Buy pick up because I am impatient :) but I do not see that option anywhere. not even greyed out. I am in San Diego and they all have what I am looking for in stock. Thanks

Hi there, Just got the Arc Ultra + Sub 4. Using it on a Samsung 85 QLED Qn85d. Plugged into the HDMI eARC. But it's saying Dolby PCM 5.1 instead of Dolby Atmos. Tried it on many movies. Sounds great still but why isnt it in dolby atmos? Is it my settings? 

Hey all … if I add a second sub to my current HT setup (Sonos Arc, Sub Gen 3, and (2) One SL’s as my surrounds) will the Sonos app detect the new sub and ask to “add” it to my existing HT setup?  Is it clean-and-easy?  Also, will I need to TruPlay my new system once that 2nd Sub has been added?  Thanks!

Hi,I have a couple of Gen 1 Play 5’s and a Play 1 that, even though I believe are now unsupported, work perfectly fine.  however I’m quite tempted to get myself an Arc soundbar but I’m unsure if it will all be compatible?  Would my Plays continue to work as is if I get an arc or would things start to act up?

I have an Ultra , a set of 300s and a grouped set of Fives. In order to get Dolby Atmos do I have to turn off my set of Fives to get Atmos or can I leave my grouped set of Fives on?

Hi all - looking for some suggestions on the right Sonos equipment/placement. First time posting to Community. Any help is appreciated.For our basement multi-purpose room, you can see the room is split with half of it being a TV/entertainment room and the other half being a kids playroom.Over December holidays I got the Beam (Gen 2) and sub mini which is creating amazing sound. I didn’t want to get the Arc Ultra for the size, and the fact the kids play there and I didn’t want to risk damaging such an expensive item that was also 2-3x the size of the Beam (Gen 2).However, I have no rear sound currently and was looking for feedback on a few options.Option1: get the Amp to power the existing ceiling Polk audio speakers for left/right channel. question - unfortunately the way the speakers are wired, the ceiling speakers wire is on the other side of the room. there is no way to have the TV output go to the amp. is that an issue? plus - get rear sound that’s Sonos enabled but is left/right c

My Sonos Arc is now having some issues after 1 year of use and I’ve tried every suggested help article as well as some of the solutions provided in this community. The Arc software is up to date and so is the software for my TV as well as my Apple TV device. I have also submitted a diagnostic request: *********** I am experiencing 3 main issues, in order of frequent occurrence:The sound cuts out every hour or so for about 10 seconds. It just suddenly gets completely quiet and then the sound returns to normal after 10 seconds. This happens when I am watching anything on my Apple TV streaming device Every few days or so, there is a loud popping/cracking sound. This usually happens when the screen saver is on or something is paused. Basically when no actually movie or video is playing. The sound is loud, as if a speaker has blown out, and it lasts about 3-5 seconds When just streaming music via Spotify using the Arc (TV is not on at all), the music will just stop completely. I have to ask

 I will post this everyday until it happens. PLEASE MAY WE HAVE THE FULL GAMUT OF DTS SUPPORT!!?!!?   

Lately I have noticed annoying vibration or ressonance especially from voices or talking. I have owned the beam for 3 years and the problem is recent, so something has happened. Any ideas?

I have a background noise on my system, sounds like somebody connected to my ARC playing a game. Is there a way to check which devices are connected to my system? The sound pops up when i watch tv, when i mute the tv the sound remains.Appreciate your feedback.Thanks, Rick

I’ve recently bought Era 300s for use as rear surrounds but have discovered that they won’t work with most of my 4K discs as the audio is DTS rather than Dolby Atmos.  My 4K player (Panasonic UB820) doesn’t seem to have any option to convert the audio to Dolby but my Xbox Series X does. My question is what are the best settings to choose on the Xbox to get the best results for DTS discs.  Do I select Dolby Atmos or 5.1 uncompressed or Dolby digital?  As an aside, am I correct in saying that the UB820 can’t convert audio? Any help appreciated, thanks.

Mijn systeem bestaat uit de arc, sub en de amp met 2 plafondspeakers.  als ik mijn tv aansteek, kan ik automatisch via de arc geluid horen. Dan kan ik in de app de amp met de speakers aanduiden. Na enkele seconden komt er daar ook geluid uit. Maar soms valt het geluid uit van de 2 speakers, en komt dan plots terug. De arc heeft dit probleem niet.
