I noticed since a month that my Sub Mini disconnects from internet or doesn't play the room content (it is configurated well), like ones a week and I need to wait like 1hr to it auto-connect again or I restart it manually and takes like 5-10min to connect, I followed all the steps from articles of support and nothing and I know that Sonos speakers make a mesh for others products nearby (except the Era 100 and Era 300) so my Ray makes one, right?

Also I have my router that extends the wifi signal from the original router, but also the signal provided by the original router can reach a bit of signal so sometimes it connects to it and not to the router extender or makes a rarely configuration, so one Era 100 and Sub connects to the original and the another Era 100 to the mesh of the Ray and the Ray to the original router so it's very strange and with this sometimes sounds normal (good) but sometimes it sounds with interference or don’t sound. The router extender is a meter of distance from the Sub so is the stronger signal to all that room, also I tried before with another Era 100 very far with another router and it was more synchronized that this with better conditions.

Note: I have up to date all the updates (the app, the speakers, inclusive the router) and also it happened on the version before this.

Sorry if the grammar isn't correct 😅

To the best of my knowledge, after setup, the mini-Sub connects to a speaker, not your WiFi router. Certainly that is the case in a home Theater setup. It would get a proxy IP addresses from the router, but would be looking for the signal from the speaker it is bonded to.

What device is the Sub bonded to? Is there a chance of wifi interference between it and the device it is connected to? Do both devices have their WiFi / radio turned on?

Sonos warns in their Sonos Network Requirements FAQ about the use of Internet extenders being incompatible, have you gone through that FAQ?

Also, ‘rarely’ makes me think of a possible duplicate IP addresses issue. If you haven’t already, reserve IP addresses in your router for all Sonos devices, so that they don’t ‘fight’ with other devices for IP addresses.

Yes, but they say that we can use them if they're mesh, and in this case, it is so that isn't the problem and yes I have assigned them an IP address individually after seeing this, both have the wifi activated. My Sub Mini is connected to all the home theater (Ray, Sub Mini, 2x Era 100) and the Sub is like 2ft (55cm) beside the Ray and there isn't anything (only a bit of the furniture) so I don't know what this happens, but I have a theory; this is the only device I bought in another store other than Amazon, in Liverpool (that here in Mexico is a big department store nearby to Sonos, in fact) and it could have been damaged or something since I bought it? idk, but is a little strange.

Thank you for all the info Bruce :)

What did Sonos support say, when you contacted them?

Bruce, sorry if I got you confused, I don't contacted support yet, but in the article you sent me when they tell us the unsupported connections the extenders have a ² and below it says that if you need to do that you can do it in mesh. But however I will contact support tomorrow because is strange. :)

Is wifi on the Ray turned on?

Can you see what channel the Sub is using. There seems to be a difference in US and Europe sourced devices that could make bonding them troublesome. There was a post not long ago where this was explained in a case where a customer wanted to bond European Sonos devices to an American sourced soundbar (or the other way around - I forgot). Maybe this is also true for Mexico.

Be sure to mention the different continents your speakers came from when you call Sonos.

Yes in my Ray and also in all the speakers have the wifi on. According to me all the speakers are with the version for Mexico so they shouldn't have difficulties. But I wasn't know it, thank you :)

Also all the speakers in "Sala (living room)" are on the channel 11, incluiding the Sub.
