sonos arc ultra middle channel

I don’t know what’s causing this, but my middle channel sound coming from my arc ultra is not loud enough. I’ve done everything I can do to try and get some clear and louder dialogue but nothing has worked. My regular arc sounds louder and clearer. My ultra almost sounds muffled and I’ve enhanced the speech enhancement to max. Any suggestions or did I get a defective ultra? I purchased this when they opened up the pre orders.

Defective is always a possibility, try the above ideas, then consider a support call.

Some users are saying that the center channel is too loud on the Ultra, and many have praised the new speech enhancement functionality that allows them to have more control over the volume.

Are you running the latest firmware update?

Have you done Trueplay?

I am running the latest firmware, and trueplay. I’ve read that LG tvs can also cause these issues with their AI Sound enhancements so I just disabled that to see if that works.
