Hi, Recently got a Sonos arc. Wired up ok, but sound is really poor. Worse than my beam. Think it may be faulty. Tried to run the trueplay tuning.  Initial wave of sounds are ok. End up with a green circle on my iPhone,  then tuning just gets stuck on ‘listening to test tones’. I am guesssing some speakers are not firing and so the tuning can’t complete?Any advice appreciated.  ThanksA

Hello all, I have been noticing a crackling (almost like fireworks) any time the movie gets really loud. I have only noticed it so far with watching Harry Potter on SyFy (Roku TV), but will update if I hear it on other platforms. Has anyone else noticed this? I submitted a diagnostic and will contact Sonos, but figured I’d also check if anyone has experienced this. 

if I start the day playing the radio directly through the songs App, I need to restart my Sonos Arc in order for it to register the tv audio thereafter. I’ve tried numerous set ups to make the transition from tv to radio but nothings working. Any ideas? My LG tv is a 49UB850v-ZD 

I currently have 2 Sonos SL ONES I HAVE ORDERED A SONOS ARC CAN ANYONE TELL ME PLEASE CAN I HAVE THE ARC WORKING ON A WAN CABLE AND THE SL ONES ON WIFI 

Hi!I would like to pair my Sonos Arc with my iPad 4. I’ve set up everything but it seems the app can’t play the music. The streaming is not working at all! I’ve already tried deleting the app and reinstall it, but the same problem happens. How can I be sure that it’s not a network connectivity issue?

I’ve got a new router and lost all my Sonos connections. Message says “Your Beam has been added but may not appear in the System tab. If so, unplug the power cord and plug it back in to finish set up from the System tab.”  I’ve done so, and it doesn’t work. I’ve tried to factory reset several times - doesn’t help.  Tried with a friend’s android device instead of my iPhone- no luck. Tried plugging it into my router directly, and that worked, but when I unplugged it and moved it to its proper location - same problem.   Having the same problem with a Play:1  

I just got the Connect Gen 2 and hooked it up, did a factory reset, and plugged my CD player in.  Not getting any sound of the CD player or my speakers, even though the connect is integrated into my Sonos Arc System with two SL speakers and a subwoofer.Any ideas?

New Sonos Arc owner here. I’ve no idea what the Xbox Series X(or my TV-Vizio P75-C1) audio settings should be. It’s set up/connected to my TV fine(HDMI-arc), but no idea for optimizations. Any advice welcome...

I bought my two Sonos One SL Speakers separately.  One speaker connected to the system beautifully, but the other (the new one) simply will not. My system consists of an Arc, a Subwoofer, a connect generation 2 (to connect my CD player) and the two speakers.   I have tried all the fixes I know so far---the last one was to try to set up the new speaker with the ethernet cable. My system recognizes the new Sonos One SL (sometimes!) but then nothing happens, not even when I do restarts, etc.  Can anyone advise what the next steps would be?   (BTW, when I tried to connect the connect, I had a similar problem, but I was eventually able to connect to the system after about a dozen tries). 

Hi, I have a Beam set up and working through ARC on LG TV - set up a new Sub (3) today and while it’s connected (solid white light) and linked to the Beam in the same room - no noise is coming out.Have installed and deleted a few times, reset router a few times - not sure what it could be - any help would be appreciated! I’ve tried multiple times to connect my Beam with the One’s Pair but no success.Beam is connected with a ethernet cable and to TV with HDMI. One’s are in a Stereo Pair on Sonos Wireless.When i try to set up the surround on Beam I get  the message that no products were found.Diagnostic number: 1473272352

Hi all. I have a Hisense 43p6 and and a brand new beam. I’ve followed the Sonos prompts and I’ve enabled CEC on the TV and also selected ARC for the audio out, but I get no sound. I’ve tried it with both Dolby and PMC.The tv says it’s receiving the HCMI 4 signal, and the beam is working with my other Sonos devices just fine for music, but I can’t get anything going through the TV.Oh, and I’ve read the other Hisense threads on here already too.Please help! 

I have a Playbar, sub and 2 rear surround speakers Used with my TV -  all great and love it. Want to now connect my turntable so it can use the same speakers. I have a Sony deck with a pre-amp and have just bought a connect, assuming that would be what I need. I’m useless with tech and thought the connect would send the signal from the deck to my existing speakers. Have I got that wrong and if not how do I connect the connect to the existing speakers? Many thanks. 

Almost once a week my Arc volume drops down while playing without anyone touching the bar. To resolve this I have to unplug the arc from power and re-plug back in. What can be done to prevent this?

Just wondering if anyone knows if it possible to connect my surrounds (2x Sonos Ones) to both my Amp and Arc. I will try and explain - they are in the same location and I only use the Amp and Arc separately so I would like to be able to have the surrounds paired with both. So when I play my Amp I have the surrounds connected and the same when I use the Arc. Hope that makes sense?! Thanks very much.

Is there a current bug or issue in the firmware / OS that does not allow non-wired devices to reconnect after a network outage without a power cycle? This has never been the case and I am seeing it with both older Play:1s and new One SLs as well as a Five. 

I have an Arc connected to 1 Samsung TV in the living room. I have added a 2nd TV to bedroom. So far it is only TV speakers.  I would like to add a sound bar the the bedroom TV and add a speaker to a small 12x12 sitting area.  My goal is for each to be in the play the same music, but the 2 TVs be independent when watching TV.  I also am looking to connect a turntable and CD player fro music. I have a mesh wireless network.

I haven’t seen a definitive answer, so I was wondering does the Play 3 for surrounds allow horizontal placement, or does it require vertical? I’m setting up stands for a living room, so I want the correct info before finishing installation. 

My Sonos beam bar worked perfectly for 3 months (predominantly being used to play music from my iPhone via the home WiFi network). Over the last few weeks my Sonos is not available to stream my music through, unless I turn my router on and off again. Every time I turn my router on / off I can use the Beam again, but only once, then when I go to use it again it is not available to connect to. If I go into the Sonos app, I get an error message saying “unable to connect to Sonos”, until I turn the router on / off again! any ideas for W fix very welcome!     

hi all.  i have recently purchased a sonos arc soundbar to play dolby atmos on.  my room is one of those that years ago used to be a seperate sitting room and dining room which someone in the past has had converted into one room.  this means my tv on the wall and soundbar underneath are central to old living room but not to overall room and there is a large area to the left (as you look at tv) of the soundbar compared to the right.  my question is when using trueplay do i walk around the whole room or just the area i am watching the tv/soundbar from. i hope this makes sense thanks

I’have a problem. Today the sonos one (Used as surround speaker in the home theater system) doesn’t work. I can’t connect them anymore to the system!! When i use the app and select “configure” surround (in the arc+sub system), it doesn’t see anymore the surround!!who can Help me?? thanks

I’m trying to connect a Gen 3 Sub to a Beam unit wirelessly and I keep getting the same error. Unable to connect. I was able to connect the system using Ethernet cables but I cannot keep those connected since the Ethernet ports are in separate rooms so I need to be able to connect wirelessly. When I use wireless I’m able to add the sub and connect to my WiFi but when I try to add it to add it to the beam I get the error stating “There was a problem adding your Sub. Check the network connection and make sure your product is powered on.” How can I fix this issue?

My original setup was two Sonos Amps, one configured as Front TV speakers and the other as Rear Surrounds.Yesterday I bought the Sonos Arc and wanted to keep the original configuration the same but add the Sonos Arc so I would get a better listening experience with more audio coming from the center. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find a way to configure it that way.I tried removing all components from the system and started from scratch. If I add the Sonos Arc first, the only option is to add one of the Sonos Amps as surrounds. There is no option to configure it as front TV speakers. If I add the Sonos Amp first, I can configure it as front TV speakers but then I can’t add the Sonos Arc to the system.Why do I care if the Sonos Arc provides great audio up front that actually gives me the left and right like the Sonos Amp does? Hi all--I’ve got Sonos all throughout my home. 9 Play Ones, 2 Subs, and a Playbar in total. Overall everything works perfectly well, except for my “Living Room”. In that room, I’ve got 2 Sonos Ones and a Sub. I’ve noticed that it sounds very tinny and lacks bass when I play music. I check the app, and there are no issues. However, the Sub is not playing! Here are the things I’ve tried:Remove the Sub through the app, then re-add it via the app. This generally works but I have to do this every single time I start playing anything to “Living Room” Un-plug it for 10 seconds and plug it back in. Sometimes this makes the Sub start working too. Un-plug it and press the join button while plugging back in, and re-adding it as a new speaker to “Living Room”. This takes 5-10 minutes but seems to work until the next time I play music Called customer support. She ran a diagnostic and said it shows that the speaker is playing, when it is definitely
