I recently purchased a Sonos Arc soundbar with Gen 3 sub and two Sonos One surrounds.  Connected to LG Model 49LJ550M TV.  Didn’t sink together initially, but finally got thing to connect.  Problem I’m having is after about an hour or so, the sound switches back to TV internal speaker.  The only way I have found to reconnect is to unplug the TV and then plug back in to power.  I love the Sonos sound, but the constant disconnection is driving me bonkers.  Anyone else having this issue?  If I can’t find a solution, I think I will return and try to find some other system that is more stable.  Help

I have a 2014 Samsung TV and connected my Playbar to it. I experienced problems with getting Dolby 5.1 to play through my system. I ended up buying a dip switch online and connecting it between my BluRay player and Samsung. My question is… IF I buy the Samsung Q60B, are there ways via menu items that help connect SONOS components easily and successfully? Has SONOS changed any firmware issues that make integration with new TVs easier?

Netflix UK has rolled out Spatial Audio. I have a Beam Gen 1 with sun so 3.1 Netflix set to 5.1. For spatial audio do I need to set Netflix audio to stereo? Using optical cable if that makes a difference. 

Bonjour,Sur ma telé Samsung j ai une play bar connecté en optique, couplé avec un Caisson Sub et 2 enceinte play 3 en Surround. Mais j’ai tres peu de son en retour dans les 2 play3. J essaye de jouer sur les parametre “Niveau de la musique” et “Niveau de la télé” , mais j’ai très peu de résultats. J’aurais aimer entendre la meme chose que dans la play bar mais au niveau des 2 play3.est ce possible ? Merci

I am looking to upgrade my SONOS Playbar (Gen1) with the ARC.  I want to verify my current SUB (Gen1) and Play:1 (rear) will work with the ARC.

-Me gustaría saber si: ¿El cable hdmi de la sonos beam gen1 es el mismo que el de la sonos beam gen2?-Tengo un problema, cuando conecto la sonos beam gen 1 a un televisor samsung del 2018 a la toma hdmi (arc), estando la tv apagada , el led rojo de stand by de la tv parpadea lentamente, ¿¿alguien sabe a que es debido y como se soluciona?? Tengo otra Tv samsung del mismo año conectado a otra barra y no le pasa.En principio la tv y la sonos beam parece que  funcionan correctamente . Muchas gracias

Is this possible, or does surround sound only come via a Soundbar at the front?Apple TV just seems to give me the option to select the pairs of speakers, with no way of saying which ones are front and rear.

Hi, I am interested in the Sonos ARC + 2 One to replace my JBL BAR 9.1 but in my set-up, the 2 One surrounds will not be at equal distance from the listening point so I need an adjustment of their right/left balance otherwise I will end up with an imbalance at the back. Can you confirm me if this left/right adjustment of the surrounds is possible on this bar ?

When I power up the TCL C835  TV, the Sonos beam gen 1 (connected with eARC) takes at least 10-15 sec to start play audio.  The same model of beam with Samsung TV without such long delay!  Any setting to improve the delay.

Hi,owning a sonos beam since 2 weeks, great experience.btw I experience pops and crackle when my tv send dd+ content, not on PCM.i have Apple TV 4K 2022, Philips 43pus7303/12, and sonos beamactually all work in HDMI with ARC, I tried in optical but same thing, and tried also to turn off and unplug my tv, unplug all HDMI, make a raining dance….. without results.i can only change my setting to PCM stereo to have a clear sound, btw I didn’t purchased a sonos beam for stereo content…..thanks a lot for your help !

New to Sonos, set up the arc as per instructions, everything seemed to be working, using my remote to turn volume up and down, logged into the app everything seemed ok , until I try and adjust the EQ or height, or night time control and the voice enhancement none of these work. I'm running the correct WiFi networks mobile and arc connected to the same network. I'm using a xomi tv box. Please help. I'm in Norway.

Last 6 days my Beam2 2 Play1s and sub all connected together as a surround sound system not showing on app have reconnected by resetting them from scratch like new products works fine that day , next day they are gone again from the app.l have 3  other products which are further away from router 30m they  work fine  the ones that keep disappearing are only 3m from router  all connected by WiFi any advice .

I’m looking to purchase a wireless record player that can connect to my living room audio system. I have 2 Sonos One SL’s and 1 Sonos Beam. Would the AT-LP60XBT connect to this system via Bluetooth? If not is there a wireless record player I could get that would? Thanks for the help! Take care.

If the internet goes down, can I still use my Arc, Sub and SL One surround speakers?  Or do they always have to have internet to work correctly? I have the system all set up and working properly, and have 700 mbps on my internet down and up speeds with fiber, but was wondering if I’d lose the use of the speaker system during an internet failure. If I understand correctly, my Arc should work fine with the EArc hdmi to the TV, but will the sub and SL one surround speakers continue working without the internet?  My apologies if I’m sounding redundant with my question, I just wanted to clarify. 

Hi everyone!  I am new to SONOS and am having a problem after successfully (easily) connecting our new Beam gen2 to our playroom TV.  We are DISH Network subscribers and the playroom TV is connected to a DISH Joey receiver with an HDMI cable and the Joey receiver is connected to the satellite antenna via a RG6 cable.  To allow reception of the DISH signal on a small Kitchen TV, the DISH installer connected what appears to be a signal amplifier to the Joey receiver with RG6 coaxial and from that device a RG6 coaxial cable connects to a 4-way splitter and a RG6 cable connects to the kitchen TV.  I am describing our playroom/kitchen satellite TV installation to provide information which may help solve our Beam problem and to also state that our setup was installed and approved by DISH network.With that out of the way, here is our problem:  after installing the SONOS Beam, we no longer have sound on the kitchen TV.  Although the kitchen TV can only receive the same channel as the playroom

When I first received my Sonos system I loved it, still do but after moving I've become somewhat dissatisfied with the Sub. In my previous home, the sun hit low and hard now I can barely hear it.I noticed this be the first time I played it in my new home. My new house living room is a lot larger then my previous living room and has a high ceiling plus has somewhat of an open design. So naturally I thought I would have to play with the placement. I've been here for less than a year and have tried many different placements and nothing seems to work. I've found myself having to turn the sub volume up to 5 to get an almost pleasing result. I've tried placing the sub in my listening position and crawl around but nothing sounds particularly good.I got fed up a couple of days ago and took the sub upstairs to my home office which is a really small room. My modest system is a Virgin 360 box HDMI into my JVC 50” tv with an ethernet-wired Beam Gen 2 (with ONE SL surrounds) connected via eARC.The issue I had was that the volume display kept popping up on the TV every 20 or 30 seconds.Really annoying.I noticed that this issue stopped if the sat box was not connected or if I connected the Beam via Optical so clearly the sat box was constantly handshaking with the Beam via CEC. I tried turning off the CEC control on the Virgin box (“helpfully” called One Button) but it made no difference.So, on the suggestion from another post on here, I bought a HDMI CEC remover adapter for £8 on Amazon, inserted it between the Virgin box and the TV, and the issue was resolved.This was after several support calls to Sonos and no progress.  I understand that it wasn’t strictly speaking a Sonos issue so their support didn’t extend but it’s clearly a “fix” that will be of use to many of their customer base and ought to be a suggestion on their diagnostics scri

Bonjour, je rencontre 2 problèmes depuis que j’ai installé ma Sonos Beam 2: 1/ le son craque et grésille quand on regarde Youtube.2/ il y a un décalage entre les dialogues et le son entendu sur n’importe quelle source (Netflix, YouTube, télé classique) J’ai pourtant bien calibré la BEAM 2. Est ce un problème technique ou un réglage à faire?Pourriez vous m’aider?MerciAurélien

Hi everyone.  This seems more of a handshake issue vs the Arc itself, but hoping someone else has experience with this issue.Streaming over a 2nd gen Apple TV 4K → LG OLED 65CX → Sonos Arc (+ sub and Amp with 3rd party surrounds) via eARC.  No issues with Atmos or anything like that.  Issue I’m having is when I start streaming a show, TV indicates Dolby Vision has kicked in and show starts, but there is no audio.  I’d say it happens 40% of the time and is more frequent when the streaming service begins to autoplay a new episode after the current one has ended.  So far I’ve noticed this when streaming over AppleTV+ and Netflix.  Seems to be isolated to shows encoded for Dolby Vision/Atomos.  My only workaround at the moment is to back out to the menu then restart the show.One other thing I’ve noticed is when the Apple TV comes on, the screen blanks for a second while it switches to Dolby Vision.  A few seconds later it does this a second time which it never did with my old receiver-base

We have a Sonos Amp in our home, with pairs of indoor and outdoor speakers (not Sonos Brand), hard wired to the Sonos Amp, and we have no major issues playing music through these speakers, via streaming services and the Sonos App on our phones.For the context of this post, leave the outdoor speakers out of the conversation. This pertains to the in-ceiling speakers we have in our family room and wanting to set them up as surround speakers for our TV.We purchased a Sonos Beam Gen 2 cause we were told that we could connect the Beam to the Amp, and be able to setup the indoor (in ceiling) speakers which are controlled by the Amp as the surround speakers in our family room (we understand the Beam is the front center, left and right front speakers). The Sonos App recognizes the Amp from the Beam 2, and we see the link to “add surrround” in the Sonos App, but… the App says it fails to complete the surround setup, after several minutes. We then checked the App, it appears that it DID complete

Hi - there’s nothing on the forum which deals with this question where (1) using an LG OlED 2022 TV and (2) the Sonos Playbase. user interface has changed and none of the supposed “fixes” are working. Been spending hours reading various forums… has anyone got this to work? not sure if it’s an IR issue as the LG has a magic remote or some issue trying to get the TV to talk to the sound at directly…help please!!
