Has anyone successfully switched the sound from the Arc to Sonos Ace?I get the following error message when trying to Swap “Sonos couldn't complete swap” ThanksRoss
I would like to have 2 sonos ace headphones connected to my system when my wife and I watch a movie, whilst my daughter is studying in the other room. I would like to know if that is possible before I purchase a second ace. I have a simple set up with my arc ultra to my TV and sub. I believe this was not possible a year ago when I got the system. Has this changed? Thank you for any feedback.
How can I synchronize the volume of my Sonos Ace headphones with the TV volume? I want the TV volume to also decrease when I unplug them and lower the volume on my headphones. Currently, when I unplug them, they don't return to their previous volume levels; instead, the TV defaults to volume level 15, and the Ace to volume level 60. This happens every time I switch between them. It's a problem because the whole point of using headphones is not to disturb people nearby, and if you're using them at night, you don't want to disturb people who are sleeping. Now, when you play the sound back, the TV volume is too high for that time of night. Sonos should find a solution.
Using the Ace headphones, while using TV swap, it is noticeable 2.0 stereo source sound better with spatial audio off, and multi channel (dolby/atmos) sounds a lot better with spatial audio on. yet it is a hassle to switch that manually every time based on my source. hence it would be amazing if sonos would do that automatically. like auto choose opt-in.
I have a turntable currently using the Sonos port. I recently purchased the Sonos ace headphones and a BTA 30 is it possible to listen to my vinyls on my Sonos ace headphones? If so, can anyone help me? I can’t seem to get this to work
I was sold a bill of goods by Sonos that I had to buy the arc to buy their Sonos ace headphones. What a mistake. Everyday it’s a struggle to pair the ace with the arc. It never works until I try to push the button a dozen times before it connects. Tonight I just spent an hour and finally gave up. Just an awful product. The strange thing is I vacationed in Florida for 4 months. The headphones hooked right up to a regular tv as I never had a problem. You turn the tv on and in 3 seconds the headphones work. Now I’m back home with the arc and pushing that button with the audio swap is an absolute nightmare. If you’re thinking of buying - resist and go elsewhere.
I don't know why Sonos didn't design the Ace to operate just like any other Sonos speaker in my network. It's so disappointing! Fix this Sonos!
Does anyone know where or how I can purchase the original Sonos Ace travel cases? I think they’re beautiful and high-quality; it’s a shame that, since I’ve been moving around a lot, I lost mine. I’ve tried looking for original options, but they’re not available on the official Sonos website.I admit it was my mistake, but I’d like to buy an original one. Thanks.
I Love my Sonos Ace headphones . The sound quality is so good and they are so comfortable to wear .I use them 3-4 times a week for a year, but have just notice the headphone cushion is lifting on the front. The ear cushions are fine. Are Sonos prepared to set and behind their excelllent product and repair or replace!
Is there a way to turn the autopause feature off? I found it a bit 'sketchy' at times when wearing a beanie or hat of some sort. Which in these colder countries like Finland where i live is quite unavoidable to be without at times. It 9 out of 10 times pauses if I turn my head a certain way if I'm wearing a hat.
Just got my Sonos ace and the quality is great. Only problem is the sound is not loud enough for me. Any suggestions?
Against my instincts due to the long works with the Sonos app and the history etc I purchased the Ace today in the airport. First use after updating to firmware 3.9.9 and the left ear is making a pulsing fluttering effect from the ANC. ANC switched off. No problem. It's exactly like driving on the highway with the window cracked open and you get that resonance. In short the headphones are useless in this state. The ANC can't be used so they are dud. Is there a fix?Impossible to return to the shop as it's in the airport and I've flown to my destination. What didn't I listen to my gut? Thanks.
Hi everyone,I’m experiencing a serious and fully reproducible issue with my Sonos Ace headphones when using the official USB-C → 3.5mm cable provided in the box. I’m posting here to understand whether this is a known issue and if there is any official guidance or fix. What’s happening When using the headphones with the USB-C → 3.5mm cable, I hear constant electrical noise / buzzing / interference. The noise gets noticeably worse when: I touch or move a phone that is nearby That phone is charging The phone is close to other power cables or chargers Very important clarification The phone causing the interference is NOT connected to the headphones in any way. The phone is not paired via Bluetooth, not connected by cable, and not being used as an audio source. It is simply lying next to me, charging. When I pick up or touch that phone, the noise in the headphones immediately increases. When I move the phone away, the noise decreases. This strongly indicates electroma
¿Recomendaciones? Moderator Edit:Google Translate-I wanted to ask if I can remove the creases that form on the headband of the Sonos Ace headphones, as I'm very particular about that. Any recommendations for removing those creases? And another question: I bought a DAC to get aptX Adaptive, but it reduces the volume. Any recommendations?
Just bought the ace headphone. The shop confirmed they could be used in a sonos system. But to my horrow i find a lot of people also discovering that they cannot be group with all my other sonos speakers.I use my system for TV sound through a sonos soundbar, an bought the headphones to be able to listen to TV, and the tv sound should of coarse also be playing. But connecting the headphone to tv, and all other speakers go mute!!Is this really true? I do hope I’m doing something wrong, because else the most expensive, BY FAR, headphones I ever bought is totally useless. A very frustated customersvein
It keeps asking for location and accuracy
So I really can’t use a button to mute music/calls 1.5 years into the lifecycle? This makes me sad/mad. You guys are the gold standard.be better (please).
Just bought the Sonos ace headphones and I have to have the volume set at 100 to hear it tidy. Done all the trouble shooting and updates but still the same. ????
I noticed that sometimes the content key changes the volume by 1 and other times it changes the volume by 4. Why does it do this?
I have Ace connected to my account. I want to give it to somebody else (who has a different account). How do I remove this Ace from my account so that the other person can add it to their account?Thx
Have music library on Windows 11 transferred from IPod Classic. Is it possible to listen to the music on my ACE headphone? I can play music through Android phone, but unable to listen to music with ACE headphone. Apologize for not further clarifying; not certain how to provide further detail. I want to listen to MY music on MY pc via MY ACE. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Moderator edit:Google Translate-Hello everyone,I'm having frequent Bluetooth disconnection problems with my Sonos Ace headphones. I've tried connecting them with different devices, and the same thing happens. It's not a pairing issue, but rather disconnections after the headphones have already paired with these devices. This happens when I'm close to the paired device and
Hi’ just received two days ago brand new Sonos Ace headphones I’m having an insane issue while I’m on any type of a call using the aware or NC mode, while I speak randomly I’ll hear a super high pitch noise for a brief second while I talk, it’s extremely loud and unbearable I’ve updated to latest and also done a full hard reset to the unit ! Nothing has changed I have a brand new iPhone 16 pro max with Sonos app installed This is horrible, why is it happening ? I read on Reddit that people were experiencing similar issues from the cpu frequency being picked up by ANC microphones or something like that. Also when I’m on a call, other people hear me muffled and like I’m in a tunnel, these are expensive premium headphones that shouldn’t be like that I think?
Hello,I noticed the following issues just after upgrading my Ace headphones to the 3.9.9 FWPop artefacts from the ANC when working on my computer, it’s related to the ‘click’ sound of my mouse and to the keyboard keys sound. I get that issue with Adaptative ANC ON and OFF (I’m aware of the well knowed ANC pop artefacts with some specific sounds, but this one only appeard after the update)Audio artefacts when using aptX Adaptative in ‘low latency’ mode, it’s partially fixed by switching the bluetooth connection mode to “multipoint”, but i still get some artefacts from time to time. I’ve already performed a factory reset, but it didn’t help.Is there any where to downgrade the FW to the previous version ?Thank you.
Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my web-based Morse code tone generator when listening through Sonos headphones and wanted to see if anyone here has experienced something similar. The website generates real-time audio tones in the browser using the Web Audio API. On standard wired headphones connected directly to my PC, everything works perfectly. However, when routing audio through Sonos (either via Bluetooth connection or through a Sonos device using line-in), I’m experiencing noticeable delay and, in some cases, complete silence after a few seconds. The main problem is latency. Morse code timing is very sensitive, and even small delays between dots and dashes make it hard to use for practice. With Sonos headphones, there seems to be a buffering delay that shifts the timing, even though the visual output on the site remains accurate. Occasionally, the audio starts correctly but then cuts out while the browser still shows the signal playing. For context, I’ve tested this in Chrome
