Sonos Ace Aux Input Not Working

I cannot get my Sonos Ace aux input to work (via an USB-C to 3.5mm cable).

  1. Using Bluetooth Works
  2. Using USB-C to USB-C cable works

I’ve tried 2 different usb-c to 3.5mm cables, and both fail to playback audio.

Anybody have any suggestions on how to debug this?

Can any USB-C to USB-C cable work or must use the cable that come with ACE?

@MengTeck Seems like any USB-C to USB-C cable works (or at least the various ones I’ve tried so far). However, the usb-c to 3.5mm cable that is included with the headphones (and another usb-c to 3.5mm cable cable I bought from Amazon) do not work on any device I try them with.

My iPhone XR has a lightning output port, so I purchased this uGreen lightning to 3.5mm adapter:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07Q6K37BD

I plugged the 3.5mm to USB-C cable (supplied with the Ace) between the Adapter and Ace and it’s working fine and I can listen to Amazon/Apple music native Apps and YouTube etc. from my old iPhone.

So the cable you mention is working here for me and the Ace.

Edit: Not sure if it’s worth mentioning, but when I plug the cable/adapter into Ace, the status LED switches its colour to white and I’m getting 24/48 audio quality with my iPhone/Amazon Music (screenshot attached).
