Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

A few days ago, my symfonisk remote stopped working and there is an alert in the ikea home smart 1 app that it cannot connect to my 2 symfonisk speakers. I have tried re-adding the speakers and cannot. They show up fine in the Sonos app. Unfortunately IKEA was not of much help, so I’m curious if anyone here has had this issue and been able to fix it. Thank you. 

Trying to downgrade a ZP90 to S1 (not compatible with S2).  Was on with phone support for over an hour, with various “reset the device, reset the router, reset your phone” steps over and over again, but every time I go to downgrade to S1, the S2 app does not see the device.   And the S1 app on my desktop computer (and my iPhone) tell me I have to control it via the S2 app.Anyone have a secret step I’m missing to allow the S2 app to actually see the ZP and downgrade it to S1?

I just bought a Sonos Arc Ultra with Sub gen 4 and 2 Era 300's, I connected the arc to my 5g network, then added the sub, and tested if it worked, I could stream music, no issues. Then I wanted to add the 300's but got the message that they can only be added to a 2G4 network, so I wanted to connect them to 2G4 (different SSID) and then got the message that they would be on a different network than the Arc.After everything finished, it said that the sub and the 300's were not registered (even though the sub shows up in the living room), but whatever I tried, all the time it says an update must be made but when I activate this it ends with an error 1001.So I decided to connect all to the 2G4 network, when I update the network all goes well, all is found and it says that my network is now added as trusted network, but then when all is finished and I get to the main screen of the app again, it says there is nothing connected to my network, I restarted everything but same t

I select a folder with some 24 tracks in it.  The folder is on a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device I have my music on.  I start to play them.  All goes well.  I select shuffle and repeat (not repeat 1).  I expect the 24 tracks to be played indefinitely or until I stop to play.  This is within the Sonos app running on an iPad.  The app stops playing the tracks after some seemingly random amount of time and tracks, frankly I am not even sure, I have not checked it yet, if it plays all the 24 tracks at least once before stopping.  When it stops, the queue points to a track in a middle of the list.  I can press play and the app will restart playing the tracks but it will stop again sometime later.    To sum up, no other apps or services are involved, only the Sonos app and a folder on a NAS device.Please help.  What can I possibly be missing here?  This, to me, is a very basic function.

I can’t find the TruePlay option for my Sonos Arc when on my “Living Room” page on the new app, where I have an Arc (gen 1), Sub (gen 2), and 2 Sonos One SL’s as Surrounds. This is the same on my iPhone 15 Pro, my iPhone 11 Pro, and my iPad Pro OLED. Any ideas?

I’m trying to add a speaker has disappeared off my system (but that’s for another topic when I’ve got it sorted) I hit the + To add speaker or component and it says “sign in as the system owner” but I am already signed in.

Every time I accidentally clean or touch the top of the Sonos Era 300, which I have as rear speakers, an orange light flashes and they are deactivated. For them to work again I have to unplug them and plug them back in. It's very annoying Is there any solution? Thank you

Hi all, anyone else hear have some Sonos Ace headphones and can test this for me? I have two Sonos Ace headphones (wife and I) and they both do it. They’re both brand new. Sonos have told me they’re both faulty and to return them both but I’m thinking it’s more of a widespread QC issue. Put volume low or even off, and test with both ANC on and also in Aware mode and get some cutlery and drop the cutlery into the cutlery draw so it lands on other cutlery. This noise seems to make the headphones make a loud crackling static noise. It’s not just with cutlery, it’s lots of other loud metal or clicking noises. It’s like the ANC can’t handle it. This is definitely a fault with the ANC on these headphones and needs to be fixed.the noise does not occur when audio mode is OFF, only ANC on and Aware. 

Hello, I’m writing today to add my voice to the many requests already made on this topic. What a surprise yesterday afternoon, when my wife received her Sonos Ace — which we had purchased specifically to avoid disturbing our children when watching TV in the evening — to discover that we cannot connect both headsets simultaneously. This is extremely disappointing, especially since Sonos promotes this feature as a selling point of the device. We appreciate the quality of Sonos products, but we are disappointed that this function — implicitly suggested through the sale of duo packs and the advertised benefit of connection with the ARC — is in fact not currently possible. We sincerely hope you will add this feature soon.Is this planned ?  

I have built a surround system attached to my TV with the following Sonos devices:Beam Gen 2 Sub Mini 2x Era 100Beam is connected to the TV through HDMI eARC port.Beam and Sub Mini are connected to the same network switch. Era 100s are connected to the same Ip subnet through wifi. ERAs are physically placed to the back of the couch and they are all included in the surround system formed on Sonos app. As I don’t have an iphone (hate apple, love Android) , I am not able to use trueplay.Btw, that’s weird because when I was using the Era’s as a stereo pair , the Sonos app would give me the option to use trueplay. Why it does not support trueplay in surround mode (when it is really needed) Now, my questions:is there a 3rd party app to configure trueplay in my situation ? is trueplay required ? my TV is not altering the digital audio from the source (direct

I have a Roam 2 and an Era 100. I cannot get the app to recognise them both at the same time. They are on the same network and are recognised individually if the other is switched off. I'm not trying to stereo pair them as that's not poss but it would be nice to have them playing the same music in different t rooms. Is it just me being a muppet or what? 

I recently updated to the newest version of the Sonos App and now I am having a number of issues. Initially I had a difficult time getting the sonos system to the wifi system. Now it does not allow me to connect to the steaming music services I keep getting a message that it is unable to play the station. It is extremely frustrating.

My Sonos Playbar’s audio from my Sony TV started to fade out to nothing. Then I would get it to work again. Then it fades out again. Now no audio from the TV comes through the Playbar at all.The playbar still plays spotify and other music from my phone. I have tried replacing the toslink cable, plus I feel i have tested all other steps for these issues. I have also reset the playbar but no audio from the TV. The TV software is up to date.   Does anyone have any suggestions?The main role of this device is for TV audio and thats the only thing that does not work. 

Hello,I bought an Arc Ultra and 2 Subs Gen 4.I have everything set up over wireless only and all are visible in the app.  I can connect one of the subs  to the Arc Ultra but not two.  I can connect the first one fine, and then when I go to either Add A Second Sub under Ultra, or by trying to connect the second sub to the Ultra, it fails.  It actually says the second sub was connected, the ultra makes a bong sound that it adds, but the second sub never attaches in the app and it doesn’t play.  I have disconnected both subs and tried them in different order and the first one always connects, but the second one cannot add per above.  So both subs are confirmed working if it is the first one added, but I can never succesfully add a second sub.  I’ve gone through the menus attempting over and over and reboots, etc., and it just does not work.  What am I doing wrong here???  Its extremely frustrating and have wasted a good part of a day now trying to

Updated internet that had Sonos system and now is saying it equipment needs an update. I click update and app says update failed with no error code. (Help not available)I am assuming equipment is too old for new software. Can I bypass update and use as is? It is now stuck in a loop saying needs an update-won’t update. 

Hi, I’m setting up a home theatre and need some advice on wiring and what components to get. I have a sonos arc, sonos in-ceiling speakers (x2), amp, & sonos roam. I also plan to get the pro-ject T1 turntable.  My goal is to watch TV with the arc + in-ceiling speakers. And occasionally listen to music on the pro-ject t1 turntable on the arc + in-ceiling speakers. Not at the same time of course. I asked ChatGPT and it told me to get 2 amps.  Is this possible with one amp? Is there anything else I should get for a TV/Music setup?

Does Sonos ace work on the Sonos s1 app

Ive read a few things on how to stop people having access to my sonos while at home on wifi but why is there nothing when im out in public.  I was recently powering up my headphones and someone connected to them.and played their music.  Then I didn't have access to play music until I was out of range from them.  I dont have multipoint access turned on.  This is a huge let down...what can I do?

Every morning, the Sonos app shows no services. I don’t usually recommend attempting to use SONOS for Karaoke, but I’d like to hear from anyone who has attempted using the HDMI-ARC or HDMI-eARC connection to a SONOS soundbar. The latency for this connection is 30ms vs 75ms for a Line-In connection. The 75ms delay is totally frustrating for most people. Is the 30ms delay tolerable for you?

My play 1 (gen 1) is dead! I opened it up to check the 2amp fuse which is fine. On examination I found that R310 has blown.  My question is what value resistor is this? Any ideas what may have caused it to pop?
