Hi there, just hoping to give this a bump since it has been a few months without an update to the app that might resolve this. Here is the relevant post in pour previous thread (unfortunately closed for inactivity):

As of today we are still seeing a ?? for the CFBundleShortVersionString with the latest version as available via https://www.sonos.com/redir/controller_software_mac (“Sonos_57.22-67080.dmg”):

Latets Sonos S1 App showing ?? for Version string

Hello @ZGM, welcome back!

I’ve brought this up internally, same as how Corry did on your previous thread. Maybe that will nudge things a bit.

I do not have an update to provide you yet, but I’ll chase it and see if I can get more information.

I hope this helps.

Thanks @Sotiris C. much appreciated! Just wanted to ensure it stayed on the radar somewhat 😊

Hello! I’m a bit behind on this but it appears that 57.22.71190 (aka 11.16 as released sometime in the last few weeks, maybe around Nov 19th?) has fixed this by defining solely a CFBundleVersion string.

Granted, the new lack of a CFBundleShortVersionString makes the Get Info window for the app show just -- for the Version but tbh it’s better than having conflicting info between the two version keys, so we’ll take it! 😄
