I don’t usually recommend attempting to use SONOS for Karaoke, but I’d like to hear from anyone who has attempted using the HDMI-ARC or HDMI-eARC connection to a SONOS soundbar. The latency for this connection is 30ms vs 75ms for a Line-In connection. The 75ms delay is totally frustrating for most people. Is the 30ms delay tolerable for you?

tune-in radio series are a constant issue with dropouts, disconnecting to service and reliability - there are conversations and questions regarding this issue on this support chat that go back a number of years yet the issues remain the same and are unresolved. the service is not compatible with Sonos and should be removed - and this will remove the frustration.

My play 1 (gen 1) is dead! I opened it up to check the 2amp fuse which is fine. On examination I found that R310 has blown.  My question is what value resistor is this? Any ideas what may have caused it to pop?  

Setting up/transitioning preexisting player and connect amp system in new home, and I keep getting Not Connected. The system has worked on and off, but I can’t seem to get it reliably connected and usable on my network. I have mesh wifi and ethernet. I have connect amp connected via Ethernet and playbar connected via WiFi, or at least that has worked previously. Now when attempting to use the system I get the Nit Connected and when attempting to Update Network in System Settings, it sees the devices, but keeps telling me I need to do a Factory reset on the devices, which I have now down 2-3 times on each device. Help! 

Why do I have to pause between certain actions for them to take effect correctly when using the latest android app?I was editing the queue yesterday and noticed that if I deleted entries in quick succession several would simply reappear whereas if I paused and counted to 2 between my delete requests they would all be removed as expected.It seems the performance of these new apps still needs a lot of work.the windows version is a joy to use by comparison, fast, responsive, logical and clear as to what’s its doing. (all system and apps at latest available versions as of today.)

Hi AllI have recently entered the Sonos ecosystem. I have a Beam gen 2, 2 Era 100s and a sub mini for the home theatre setup which is very impressive. The question is…. I am considering putting another two speakers in my kitchen/dining area for listening to music. I would also like to group them with my other equipment so I can play music throughout the house.I can get two Play 1s for £65 each or two Play 5 (gen 1)s for £75 each. Which would be better in your opinion?I have read that there may some compatibility issues regarding the app, I currently use the S2 for the theatre setup which is up. I had a very long exchange yesterday via chat as I am not getting the kind of volume I would like on the Sonos Ace when playing atmos music via the amazon music on my ipad. I also happened to mention that the volume on TV audio swap was low too. The Sonos guy then went through the process of increasing the volume on the TV audio swap which did work and I assumed rather naively that this would increase the music volume too. It did not and when I questioned this it was like I was speaking a foreign language as the guy then asked me if there was anything else he could help with I repeated my main issue i.e. the low volume on the headphones playing music and he told me to have a good day and terminated the chat. Any suggestions on how to increase the volume?

I’ve had Sonos for 3 years, I’ve never been able to alphabetize scrolling or search through my Tidal Playlists. Is that available now, and how do I find it? 

I can add a playlist to the queue once that playlist is playing I want to add another playlist to the queue. I go to anI go to a playlist and choose add to the end of queue and it says unable to add to the queue.

I have an existing system up and running.  I just purchased a Bridge. Can I add it to my existing system??

Is it possible to find a worse piece of software than Sonos desktop? Once again mine has stopped working, terrible stuff.

I’m hoping someone can help! My Sonos Sub Gen 2 seems to be malfunctioning. When playing deep bass, the sound is off—it almost sounds like one of the subs is blown. There’s a waffling or rattling sound, especially during heavy bass notes.I’ve tried the usual troubleshooting steps like power cycling and reconnecting the sub, but the issue persists.Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, did you find a fix? I’m looking for recommendations for repair shops that specialize in Sonos products or, if possible, parts that could help with a replacement. Hello, the problem I’m reporting here is probably the same as one already reported into this community a while ago (in 2021). For reference, you can look to this thread from 2021 that was unfortunately discontinued.In short, the problem is as simple as he is (very) annoying. In Spotify, when the user flag a song as licked, the song is automatically added to the list of “Liked Songs” (see the capture I made in my Spotify app that show my current Licked songs list. When I select Sonos as the output for the sound from my iPhone, it is impossible to play any of the song that is into this list. Hello,I have purchased the sonos amp.(a) I would love to hear from you which speakeers do you recomment for its wired connection (consider the 125 RMS and 8 Oms that is the specs for the speakers, as it is in the sonos specs).What I am trying to do first, is for a good stereo amp for listening classical music (and other types).(b) I would also like to hear from you any thoughts about connecting wireless speakers without (at first) purhasing wired speakers (in this case i can purchased wired speakers at later time)Thank You very much in advance.

Some back story: I started my Sonos Journey around 5 months ago. I initially had a Beam Gen 2 + One SLs + Sub Mini for my 1st full setup. I was then bitten by the Sonos Bug and quickly had the urge to upgrade everything. I found a deal on Facebook Marketplace that I could not pass up, and I upgraded to Arc Ultra + Era 300s + Dual Sub 4s.The Era 300s and Arc Ultra were vast improvements over the One SLs and Beam 2, especially for Movies and Gaming. For music, the Beam 2 setup was pretty amazing, but still a downgrade nonetheless. The area that didn't perform as expected was the Dual Sub 4s, which sounded like a downgrade. I at first thought they were duds and could not hear any bass coming out of them with bass-heavy music. When I set them up, I placed one Sub 4 on my bed, positioning it at the height my ear level would be at viewing position, and then performed a sub crawl. My system arc+2 era 300+ sub gen one  is it worth adding a sub mini or a sub gen 3/4

I just received my new Arc Ultra soundbar, the speaker setup itself was successful but when I run the TV connection using the HDMI Arc cord that was included, my TV does not find the connection. I see the HDMI port on my TV recognizes the connection, my CEC is enabled but it won’t display Sonos device in order to connect. No sound comes from the soundbar to TV connection.  I’ve updated the software, I’ve unplugged the hdmi connection and restarted both my tv and soundbar, then ran the setup again. Nothing works.  any ideas?? I’m super bummed I can’t use my new setup. 

The entire day my app can’t play anything through the Sonos app. Doesn’t matter which service I try I get an error message saying “could not connect to the server”  This is just another in the endless number of issues with the app. Yes I have restarted everything a few times.

Starting this week, my Sonos Beam 2.0 speaker will no longer connect to my iTunes library. These are local files, I don’t have an Apple Music subscription any longer. I don’t want to pay for it when I have a large iTunes library of local files. My Sonos Beam 2.0 has been working fine for the past year, and literally mid-song, it disconnected and Sonos told me a firewall had gone up. I checked it, but I’m allowing all incoming connections from Sonos, so this shouldn’t be an issue. Every time I try to connect Apple Music as a service on the Sonos app or on my MacBook, it tells me I need to re-authorize Apple Music. I do this, and then it tells me that I need to do it AGAIN even though I just did it. Now, on the Sonos app on my MacBook when I select Apple Music, it tells me that I need to renew my Apple Music subscription. I our headed two roam 2 devices. Each came with a cord, but nothing to plug into wall to charge the unit. How do I charge the Roam 2? 

I have used VLC to create an M3U playlist of 10 songs from my NAS, Sonos can see the playlist and will allow me to put the playlist on the queue (I’m using the PC controller) but the queue shows the songs in a weird format and if I try to play them I get a message saying the share //192.168.50.90/multimedia does not exist.
