Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have bought in total 4 Symfonisks about a year ago. In theory they work fine but they have only seem to be getting worse in terms of music playback.My setup is only those symfonisks. I have one (symf1) hardwired to ethernet as it is close to the router. I don't have a very big house and it is all one floor, the furthest 1 symfonisk is, is at about 12 m (symf4, with direct line 4 walls in between. Furthermore, another one is in the bedroom at about 8 m with 2 walls inbetween both the symf1 as well as the router. I have tried also removing the ethernet (symf1) and rebooting all symfs but this didn't not help.I also tried putting all of them on 2.4GHz.They have switches over to Sonosnet a couple of times but it seems that they dont always keep that configuration.My wifi is really stable and high speed with low latency. All devices stay connected and have 0 issues with video calls. Also manual pinging shows consistently low values (<10ms with most of them 1-2ms). The issues I am getti

HiI have a problem with Era 100 pair when I airplay music from Apple Music. For some reason right speakers cuts out for a second or two. I have tried to stream with Bluetooth and then there is no cutting out. If I airplay it to another system on network there is no cutting outs. So only problem seems to be with Eras

Has anybody tried the Sonos Ace (True Cinema functionality) via each the Sonos Ray, Beam and Arc?I’ve looked up the spec for each soundbar and can’t quite find the information I think would be necessary for gauging whether or not there would be any difference in the headphone listening experience, per soundbar, in True Cinema mode.For example, does the Arc have a superior means via which to measure/replicate room acoustics? Does the Arc have any other relevant superior elements in its specification (for example, quality of audio transmission via bluetooth, quality of atmos encoding to account for room acoustics) that mean the headphone listening experience (in True Cinema mode) would be any different compared to, for example, the Ray? If there is any difference, is it quite significant?And a final question: if one wanted to have a hybrid system with Ace headphones and, for example, a Sonos subwoofer (perhaps using ‘aware’ mode via the headphones, or - it one exists - some other Sonos p

In the past could have days every attempt to do anything in the Sonos app times out.  It doesn’t read my record player anymore, and the simple task of changing music preferences times out.    I have fantastic internet.. so it’s not me.   What’s happened?   I really don’t want to go through another badly planned upgrade. 

One gesture that could improve customer perceptions quite easily would be to allow people who have no interest in subscribing to Sonos Radio to remove it from their app search results. Adding this option would underscore the value Sonos places in the user experience on what is supposed to be a premium product, and by saying “we get it, you don’t want to be continually sold to when you are trying to find music you already own” would be a popular gesture while we wait for the full functionality of the previous app to return.

Specifically on the Youtube Music Service.The errors on Sonos app appear as a playback error then skips the song.“Playback paused because your account is being used in another location.”(You can see this for yourself, just try and play the album through your sonos.)Link to Album Playlist - Youtube This is sure to a viewer discretion pop up which cannot be disabled.  

Can anyone advise whether it is possible to save the current queue as a Sonos playlist using the IOS App?If yes, then could you please describe how to do this - I can’t find any option to achieve this basic function?If no, then why not?  Surely this basic function that was in the old App should be included?  If I’ve built myself a really nice set of songs in the queue how am I supposed to save it for future listening?  The only way I can see at present is to select each track in the queue individually and select ‘add to playlist’, which is a pretty sub-optimal solution?

I want to buy 2 sets of Sonos in ceiling speakers can one AMP run each set separately so I can shut one set off when not needed

What is the point of offering an update when it ALWAYS fails. I’ve tried on and off to update over the last 2 years and never successful. I’ve tried rebooting, unplugging, attaching LAN, nothing ever works. In fact, it almost always messes the whole system up and I have to spend hours getting everything set-up again. Great speakers, but god damn, It’s been a decade and Sonos still can’t figure the bugs out?

So we’ve got a bit of a weird setup, which is one big living room / dining room / kitchen area, which is all windows on two sides. We have the TV mounted on a column in the corner of the two window-walls, with the Arc Ultra right under it (both facing diagonally inwards). The couch, however, is facing east-west. Picture below, with the primary listener (i.e. moi) highlighted in green. TV/Arc circled in red:  Struggling with where to put the Era 300s. Options:Doing A/B, C/F, or D/E would place them aligned with walls and couch, but diagonal to Arc Doing B/C would somewhat mimic the angle of the Arc, but misaligned with the room In either case, which direction would we face them? Or crazy thought -- put the Arc on the window sill at X displacing it from the TV (which must stay on the column in the corner)?Suggestions and rationale would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have 6 Sonos Play Speakers and 1 player that I have had probably 8-9 years. I recently moved.  They all work except 1 and I can’t get the system to find it.  What should I do?

Jeg har i længere tid oplevet problemer med min Symfonisk Sonos-højtaler fra IKEA, og her er en oversigt over nogle af de udfordringer, jeg står overfor: Højtaleren viser ofte beskeden "Kan ikke oprette forbindelse til Apple Music", selvom der ikke er nogen synlige problemer i iTunes. Ifølge enhedens egne oplysninger er forbindelsen til mit trådløse netværk “stærk”, og problemet løses heller ikke ved at tilslutte den via netværkskabel. I samme stil får jeg jævnligt fejlmeddelelser som "Kunne ikke udføre handlingen, prøv igen", hvilket nogle gange fortsætter i flere timer uden bedring. Derudover påstår den af og til, at musikken ikke er korrekt kodet, selvom jeg udelukkende afspiller indhold fra Apple Music eller P4 – altså ingen lokale eller manuelt tilføjede lydfiler.

After a recent os update one of my connect amps are showing as ‘not registered’ ? any simple solutions to this ??

I've just purchased a Move2 and when I pair it to my Beam which is connected to my TV the sound works fine from the TV coming through my Beam... but the sound from the paired Move2 constantly stutters. 

When I connect to Sonos One SL from the spotify app, it skips the currently playing song/podcast and goes to the next one. This is particularly bothersome since I loose my progress in Podcasts.I have reset my Sonos several times, but the issue persist.How can I diagnose this issue further? Is there a log file on the Sonos that I can read? 

I have moved with my play 1 and can’t get it to work on my new WiFi if anyone has any suggestions. It was previously connected to my dad’s soundbar so I am currently using an Ethernet cable to connect to my new WiFi. It is bro by recognised on the app but the app says it needs updating but then can’t seem to connect to actually update. I’ve tried resetting but it won’t turn green just stays stuck on orange. Any help is appreciated. 

I’ve just returned from a week away and can no longer connect to my Sonos speaker - basically the app doesn’t recognise that it exists. I’ve tried the various suggestions via the app and nothing works. Any insight would be gratefully received 

I would like to be able to play mp3 attachments which are sent to me via emails on my gmail account on an Android phone. I have a Sonos Era 100 and am already set up to play Spotify etc.  Thank you..

Does anyone know why the Sonos Beam Gen.2 seems to consume data with very high bandwidth peaks? I have a Ubiquiti Unifi network at home, the network manager is reporting >2Gbps transfer peaks to my Beam 2 when in idle (i.e. no ongoing sound output from HDMI or WiFi) however the reported 24hr average data consumption is ‘only’ 250MB  

I am having connectivity problems with some of my speakers. Does Sonos boost can really make a difference? Is there people who resolved these type of issues with boost?

SONOS has found a new way to make their users and costumers lifes misrable. its EASY! just make it an GOD FORSAKEN NIGHTMARE to install an app like Spotify in sonos! ITS IMPOSSIBLE! first youd have to login on an webpage, with a username and password that hasent been used for a dacade. Why am I unable to play my Apple Music through Sonos? I have over 1000 songs in my Apple Music app (both on the PC and Iphone), but when I go into Sonos to play my music, it is requiring that I have a paid subscription to Apple Music, in order to play my own music. Is anyone able to figure out how to play my own music from the Apple Music app in Sonos?

Hello, I’ve been using the Sonos Arc for over a year and recently purchased a pair of Era 300 speakers.Initially, I set up each Era 300 in a separate room, but then successfully added them as surrounds to the Arc.Unfortunately, I'm now experiencing an echo in the sound output.Could you please advise on how to resolve this echo issue? thank you
