Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I really do despair. This morning I thought I would try out the SONOS to see what its current state is. BAD is my feedback. I switched on the stereo pair of PLAY:1’s that I have. All good, Music started playing. Music stopped, both lights had turned green. Eventually, after multiple attempts, I managed to allegedly update the speakers. BUT, the indicators are still green, the SONOS app tells me the speakers are up to date, the app thinks its playing but their is no sound coming from the speakers. Tried connecting the two speakers to my router via ethernet cable to see if that would fix the issue. It didnt. Sonos can see the stereo pair, but just wont play music through them. Deleted the stereo pair and reconnected. Did play sound through the added speaker.  I cant seem to update the original post… I have spent 3 hours trying different combinations of things… even rebooted my router and used a different phone running a different version of android. I recently bought a used connect 2. When I connect it to my wired network. Sonos app s1 detects it but tells me to use Sonos app v2. However in sonos app v2 doesn’t detect the device. I tried factory reset (press play and up button while powering up) it flashed amber for a few second and then go green. Did I miss something? Did the previous owner forget to transfer ownership or something?

When I turn off the loudness it turns itself back on.  What’s up?

Any update on the availability to at least turn trueplay off from an android device?  I know it "saved" our Trueplay settings but if I move my speakers around I should be able to at least turn Trueplay off.  That has nothing to do with the microphone used in androids and cannot for the life of me figure out why I can't toggle that off anymore?? 

Is it me or is the latest Sonos App the worst ever user experience. I hate it !!!

I’m returning g my Ace’s because of my increasing disappointment with Sonos, due to their lack a care for the customers and serious fall in quality. Now since the last update the hard reset in the ace no longer works. I’ve done the process multiple times as I let other Sonos users test them. Now, nothing. The light just stays orange. I guess this is just par for the course. The consensus from myself and those that tested them is “meh”. Muddy veiled sound, gimmicks that don’t justify the price, no amp support for tv swap, underwhelming and seemingly directional noise cancellation… seemingly good build quality.  I used to be a huge Sonos fan boy. RIP Sonos. 

I have setup SiriusXM in my Sonos account.. I can access SiriusXM through the Sonos app but i cannot get my Sonos Control to connect to SiriusXM. I keep getting an error message stating “unable to browse music - there was a problem connecting to SiriusXM.” How do i clear this error on the Control unit?  

So my app recently updated and now I can’t change my EQ settings or control volume limits on my devices.  anyone else experiencing the same issue. Worked fine before the latest update..   

I have a beam. And I just bought Eras 100 ( 2 of them) when I turn in my tv, I would love for my sound to play from all 3 speakers( beam and both Eras) I can’t figure out how to get the Eras to play as well. 

How do I connect my arc in my play five to be part of the surround sound

Using Anghami Music here.1. Playlists cannot be played, end up with a circle. It doesn't matter if it is a followed Playlist or own Playlist. 2. Playlists added to Sonos favorites are empty and cannot be played Diagnostics submitted 

Hi Folks,3+ months into the updated Sonos app debacle, here is a list of features that worked great on version 16 of the app but still do  not work on version 80 of the app.  I hope we can get fixes for these and check them off in less than 3 months:Add/Edit tracks to a Sonos playlist. I use playlists heavily from music in my local Library. Some of these playlists have thousands to tracks.  Since the upgrade, I cannot edit them at all. Album art. Album art no longer displays for tracks from my local Library. When viewing the queue, the app should zoom to the currently playing or last played track. When a playlist has more than dozen or so tracks I shouldn’t have to scroll to find the current track. Touching the volume bar should allow me to adjust the volume for any of the devices currently being used. Now I have to click the speaker list at the bottom. I suppose this is ma

Hello,I am trying to figure out whether I need to upgrade my whole system which was bought in 2015. I’m sorry I haven’t kept up with all the changes. Here’s the situation:I have four connect amps serial numbers like: ***************** registered 10/15. They are wired to speakers in the wall in a few rooms in my house. My old regular sonos app doesn’t connect anymore. The S1 and I think I tried the S2 apps don’t work either. Is there a fix for this? Thank you so much to anyone who can help. If I search for an album (or a playlist) on Spotify from the Sonos app and choose to play a specific song on the album, the first song of the album or playlist plays, not the one I chose. When opening the queue for that specific room in Sonos app the queue seems disabled and it looks like when I used to play on a Sonos speaker from the Spotify app. Image attached.Both iOS and Android. Anyone else experiencing the same? 

HiI mainly have used my Sonos system to listen to my own music, which is stored on a Buffalo LS-WXLF5D NAS.I had it set up and working fine on the S2 app.Since the up-heavel with the app, I have been without this function. I now see that Manage library is back. I have gone to Add Folder / Enter Share info….given my PC path name and the NAS mapped folder - //192.168.1.10/ZBut, I just get Access is denied. I’ve tried with and without the NAS’s username and password, but same result. Have also tried turning off my Firewall, but same result.Am I doing something stupid? As I say, it previously worked.Thanks!Damien

For several weeks now the status light on my arc does not show whenever I increase or decrease the volume on my sky q box via my sky q remote. It’s really annoying as it doesn’t seem like the volume is increasing (as it goes up in increments of 2) so I want the visual there that it is actually going up. It also doesn’t show when I go up to the arc itself and physically press the touch buttons on top and I’ve no idea why? I see the volume physically increase when on the app when I press increase. I’ve reset the remote and tried to pair again but no joy. I’ve also turned the status light function off/on via the app. It seems to be a bigger issue than that though, as it doesn’t show when I physically press the top of the arc like I’ve said. My TV is an LG 77 inch G2 if that is relevant. For reference, I have a Sonos Ray in the bedroom and that still works correctly, showing the status light when I increase/decrease on my sky q mini box.  A

Does Sonos allow for setting of a cross-over frequency for the Sub?  If so, how is it accessed?  All I see is a volume control for the Sub

Is there going to be an update to access my usb router to play my own library? Or is there way to connect?

Seems like I am in the same boat with so many others.  I have 7 Sonos One SLs and Apple Music will no longer play.  I was looking to purchase the surround 7.1.2 setup, but this has completely turned me off of getting it.  Seems like app updates can render your speakers useless.  Or at least useless for your primary use.  I miss the time when things weren’t so reliant on connection.  I have tried to reauthorize with no success…i can see the service and pick the playlist, but it just spins.  Any help/workaround is appreciated. Sonos, try some beta testing before crippling the users.

Where can i repair symfonisk speaker in Hungary?

My living room sports an Arc, Sub G3, and two Ones as rear channels. Everything works great. I also have two non-Sonos ceiling speakers on the patio next to the room, which I would love to connect into the Sonos group and play the tv sound.  I already have a Bluetooth amp on those speakers but can’t figure out what I need to get it in the loop. Would also like to continue using speakers as bluetooth occasionally. I’d prefer not to spend another $700 to get the newer Sonos amp, if I can help it. Any idea? Thanks for any insight!

Hi everyone,I currently have 4 x Play:1s, a gen 2 sub, a Five, a Roam SL and a gen 2 beam. They are all running firmware 16.1.1 (build 78152020) and are controlled by the 16.1 S2 android app (build 78151030). I ‘sideloaded’ the 16.1 version following the disastrous release in May.My main use case for Sonos is to play my personal library of music from a USB stick connected to my router on 2 zones (2 x play:1s and 2 x play:1s plus the sub). The beam is used solely with a TV, the roam/five are used to stream internet radio.For various reasons relating to my routers support for SMB1 (ASUS DSL-AX82U), not having a NAS, working without internet and not wanting to upgrade to the latest app version, I want to downgrade the play:1s and the sub to S1 and separate the components into 2 systems, with the more up to date components on 16.1 S2.The 16.1 S2 app does have the option under ‘support’ to ‘downgrade products to S1’ and I’m wondering if anyone has done this on
