I have an ongoing issue with my Sonos Roam speaker, which I purchased a couple of years ago to complement my existing Sonos system. From the beginning, our Roam has been inconsistently difficult to power on, which limited its usage.

Recently, I used the Roam outdoors, and after returning it to its magnetic charger, I noticed it no longer displayed the orange power light. Despite holding the power button for 12 and 30 seconds, the device remains unresponsive. I have also rebooted my modem, tried alternative charging sources, but the Roam still won’t power on. 

I connected through the usb charge cord which caused the orange light to come on and stay lite. Again, it did not charge.

Any potential solutions or next steps to assist in turning on the Roam?
