I'm trying to put youtube music on my sonos app. Not the new app but older one. I have the playbar an Gen 3 sub. It keeps telling me to sign out and then in as the owner. So I signed out I made a new password I signed in I don't know how I determine or how I tell it I'm the owner I mean I would assume it would know that I'm the owner. I recently moved so it's that fruit you know probably a good month before I got it back up and running and I have it wired into my Blackhawk six router hardwired I'll just find it seems to run better that way I love the products I love the sound I listen to music daily everyday and I find the YouTube music is a little bit easier accessible when you want to listen to something particular so in that regard and I've already had a YouTube music account so I might try downloading the new app and then doing it that way but any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated thank you

Lossless on group of old and new products

Is there a technical reason why when streaming to a group that contains a Sonos 5 and Play:3 that Lossless is removed for both vs streaming lossless just on the 5. I get that maybe the Play:3 can’t support it but I’ve already successfully streaming lossless on the 5. Would be nice to still support it in the group.

setting up without router

I have mobile 5G mobile broadband, sonos sound bar and sub (gen 1) with two play 3’s as rears plus a Play5. Im struggling to set up now I've switched from a normal broadband router to a mobile hotspot type 5g system. The system is both 2.4 and 5. It would be great to have some help 🤩

Is there a list of iOs controller apps that are not from Sonos.

I’ve seen on other posts that there are some alternatives or partial alternatives to the (now not working) Sonos controller app. Is there a list somewhere of what this/these are and where to get?

Quick access to the Alarms in new app

At last the alarm control is back … but it’s a bit hidden … how about - for those of us that have to change/access the alarm times regularly - being able to add quick access to the alarm settings on the Sonos app Home Page - if don’t want it. Turn it off; if use it loads, drag it to the top of the page … just a UI idea …

Five on network but won’t play.

Neither of my Five speakers will play? I see them in the system and my One and Arc play individually and together but the pair of Fives will not. The app automatically switches away from the Fives. I’ve tried unplugging and resetting. I see them on my network but can’t get them to play anything. Any advice? Thank you.   I did update the app and am aware of all the issues with the latest app release. I am asking if anyone knows of a fix for this issue in case it’s not app update related.  Moderator edit: Combined posts

S2 upgrade op

Hi, it seems to be impossible to listen to my sonos system after the upgrade. It either cannot find the components or  it cannot connect. I dropped it.  I now use native Spotify to play music. If it does not get fixed I’ll kick everything out and buy some better stuff

cannot update roam

Tried everyting. Rebooted Roam. Rebooted router. Of my 10 Sonos unit this one Roam just won’t update… error 30! forever. And NO use of it now - NO connection. (Now is says error 1001… gosh)Now what? (Also - hate the new app: my 50k plus tracks on my NAS are not accesable anymore - I am appauled - even Sonos fan boys are … silent). Shame on you, Sonos.

Using Sonos hardware offline

Hi,has somebody found an official SONOS statement, which SONOS speaker functions are still usable when not connected to the internet (offline)?In the new SONOS app, I just tripped over an additional login screen when trying to configure an individual speaker. Sorry, that is a no go - I must be able to configure my speaker (my money) without the SONOS corporation. I am afraid of a scenario where SONOS goes under e.g. SONOS get sued by a competitor into bankruptcy, their servers go offline. Then I am stuck with thousands of dollar of worthless speaker junk.Any thoughts? Cheers,Dirk

sonos app load time

The new app is awful, but is anyone else experiencing a 1-2 minute controller app load time when you open it up? Not spotted a response on this specific point.  .....also having to reset my router every half a day because there's an update that I can't access.... NAS has gone etc etc etc.  I've used Sonos for years but now seriously considering moving away as this is stupid.  Thanks

pc vs android

Well, I uninstalled new upgrade from my pc went back to s2 which is working fine. My Android phone however is a different story.  Sitting in my house surrounded by 10 speakers and this is what I get...think I'm going to pass on your "most requested” product that's dropping on Tuesday.

Sonos Era 300 Not Registered after months of use

I have been using the era 300 since January. Once have I had to reset it since it wouldn’t work.  But the other they it stopped showing up and now it is registered in my app. When I try to register it, it just say that it didn’t work and I should try again later. Last week an update that wasn't, today app can't find my system

The recent update took away most of the features I used on sonos. No longer able to shuffle or put more than one album in the queue. Now the app can't find my system even after I Uninstaller and reinstalled it. What's up with this. Getting ready to find a new speaker.

Sonos Roam No longer recognised

Recently my Sonos Roam stopped connecting to Bluetooth.  I followed the Mad Hatter (like Alice) down the hole, and had to:factory reset my Sonos speaker, Update the Sonos App on both my iPad, and iPhone Split my WiFi network (to leave a 2.4Ghz band open), and Try (dozens of times) to relink the Sonos speaker to the app (because, of course, The Sonos product will not allow Bluetooth access without being linked to Sonos App).But Sonos App will only partially recognise the roam product, it gets this far: Then it is not in System tab, nor is it in System tab  after turning Roam Off/On;Now this morning, (trying again), I get this message: Yet, following the rabbit hole further, not surprisingly, SONOS already has access! SONOS already has access!!!!Please help!!!

I am no longer able to point Sonos to my music library - when will this get resolved or has Sonos decided it’s products will only support streamers?  No point in sending me information about new hardware if I can’t listen to music I liked enough to purchase - I have thousands of songs I can’t access with Sonos and numerous playlists derived from my music library that I can no longer play with the Sonos system .  Is anyone working to resolve this?

Nos han prohibido poner nuestra musica almacenada en nuestros discos duros y ordenador, con la excusa de seguridad, la seguridad es mia, no de ellos.para que sirve entonces el sistema Sonos?, para poner la radio??,dictadura de tener que subscribirnos a u Spotify, apple, youtube…. Line Pop Noise

Hi,When switching off an external audio device that is connected with the Line In (Sonos Five Gen2), the speaker responds with a pop noise which is not for the driver, I guess. Is there any way to avoid that except switching off the Sonos?Thanks and BR,SampleBricks

Beam Sound control

When watching TV I have the beam sound set high and control the volume with the TV remote.  If I forget to turn it down it wakes up the neighbours when I play music.  I want separate volume control for WiFi vs cable inputs.  My remote won’t pair with Sonos.
