Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

When turning on my TV, how do I get it to automatically turn on the bar (ARC), AND the Sonos Move I also have in my Living Room?  The ARC (and Mini) always comes on, but I have to use the app on my phone to get the Move to joined in.  And then the Audio levels from each doesn't automatch, meaning I can’t use my remote to raise the volume for all at once.  It turns up/down the Arc/Mini, but I gave to go back to the App on my phone for the Move.  Isn’t there a way to group all of them together and have the all turn on and sync up when I turn on my TV?

Anyone experiencing issues with the new app and Sonos port? i’m looking to buy one but concerned it may have connectivity issues like the boost.

I just hooked up my Sonos system and I can’t get my FireTV remote to control the volume of the Arc soundbar. I tried setting it up within the FireTV settings but that doesn’t work and I also tried through the Sonos App but it doesn’t recognize any of the buttons that I press on the FireTV remote. I have the soundbar connected to the optical out into the soundbar.Any ideas?

Sonos Playlists have dissappeared. Does anyone know if they will be restored, or are they lost forever?

Will you be restoring the old UI for switching between rooms? This new app is very cumbersome for this feature. 

when is this app going to be corrected????!!!!  it has been months and I still can’t get recently played now my subscription s ie Amazon do not populate what the heck!!!

The surrounds have recently dropped off my ‘upstairs’ system and I keep getting ‘there was a problem adding….’this is my set up.Downstairs: playbar (wired to router), sub v2 and 2x play 1’s - working fine.Upstairs: Arc, Sub v3, One SL and a One v1.   The surrounds had a sulk and dropped off when I changed our Wi-Fi network and won’t re-connect.    They are functioning correctly as individual speakers and will stereo pair but won’t reconnect as rear surrounds.all the firmware is up to date including a roam and move.  I’ve restarted all the speakers on this system and am now at a loss.When I try and add, I get the chime from one of the rears, but then it fails.any suggestions welcome.

I'm trying to prevent the Sonos app from taking over control of my Android volume buttons, since this prevents me from controlling media volume on my phone when my Beam/TV are on, and instead unmutes the Beam volume.It appears this brilliant company has eliminated the ability to sever this control. I can't find any settings controls, and this Sonos community forum page is inaccurate:Does anyone know another way? Or do we just have to wait for Sonos to fix this (at the same time they undoubtedly break five other things)? 

Hi,i received my Ace yesterday and during my test when switching from Arc to Ace i noticed an audio/lip sync issue. Am I the only one?

Sometimes, when we select TV as our source, it gives us sound from our Sonos Beam, but not our additional living room speakers. When we try to add those speakers and hit Apply, we lose all sound, and “SPDIF: shows under the TV audio label instead of HDMI. Why does this setting get turned on and how do we avoid it?

            I have four Sonos speakers at my vacation home:  a Sonos playbar, a Sonos One, and two Sonos Moves.  The Sonos playbar and the Sonos One were installed on my home network (LAN) before I added a new mesh wifi system--an Eero 6+.  I have been attempting to install the Sonos Moves on my LAN after I added the Eero 6+, but without success.  My ISP is Xfinity.  My combination modem/router is the Xfinity Gateway.  My PC running Windows 11 is hardwired directly to the Gateway.  I have an 8-port Gigabit switch that is also hardwired to the Gateway.  Finally, I have an Eero 6+ mesh wifi system.  The main device is hardwired directly to the Gateway; three other eero devices are hardwired from Gigabit switch. The Sonos Moves worked well before I added the Eero mesh system.  Now the Sonos app on my iphone will not recognize the Moves, and frequently will not recognize the Sonos One. According to Eero support, the reason I am unable to install the So

I just got the Era 100 and i’ve connected it to my spotify. I’ve been playing around with the EQ but there is no audible difference at all even at extreme settings e.g. minimum treble, maximum bass and vice versa.  Am i doing something wrong? I usually prefer to lower the bass a little. 

I’ve had an Arc w/ 2 speakers + sub, plus 6 Amps (all S2) for years has been working fine, the bugs started recently about when the new app problems started.  I just tried the new Aug 28 app release - and yes rebooted all the devices/iphone/router and problems still occuring to the point the Arc is mostly unusable (usable but requires constant fiddling with the app to reconnect the Arc while either playing music through Spotify or watching anything on the connected Xbox).Problem #1 - Arc constantly drops out when grouped with other amps (not using the Sonos App Groups, but checking them off in the app as added together and the grouping showing up in Spotify)I have 6 Sonos Amps (S2) and an Arc (with L/R speakers and a Sub).  Each amp drives speakers in different rooms.  The Arc doesn’t run off an amp and is in the living room and is also connected to the Xbox.I always play music through the house using Spotify and I connect all the Amps together with the Arc so in Spotify it shows as a

I had 5 SL speakers for years. Worked perfectly, even with new app. Family and friends loved it. Sonos sold a lot to them.  Then I got a Beam 2 three weeks ago. Music played perfectly on all 5 SL+Beam. Speech Enhancement and Night Sound never worked, but when I called technical support, after sending in diagnostics, they told me it was a known bug. So there is that. Then app got updated last week, and now it will randomly pick speakers to play music on, changing every few seconds, and at random volume. My partner is getting upset with me and wants a different system.  So now to reliably play music, I had to buy bluetooth speakers from a different firm. I was about to buy an Arc with a subwoofer and 2 Era 300 for my beach house. My partner vetoed that. Nobody in my circle will now touch Sonos. So why are they making the app worse? music was working perfectly until their last week’s update.  sigh,

Hi. My sonos move (original model) won't activate microphone. Led stays off, touch button does not respond. Have tried with and without all the other vouce control options. Have reset and rejoined several times. Maybe a problem with the capacitive button? 

Recently up dated Sky router, which is hardwired to a ubiquity amplifi router. I have 6 speakers, and the beam is hard wired to the AMPLIFI creating SonosNet.having been on to Sonos online they have figured out I have a double NAT. My phone is trying to connect to one IP, but the actual Sonos is on another IP how do go about illuminating the incorrect address and how do I actually identify the Sonos IP Address, and get back to normal service 🙄thanks  

I believe my Sonos play 5 has WiFi capabilities but it can’t find the WiFi network but is still connecting to the Ethernet cable 

Hello,I'm thinking about buying the Sonos ACE. In advance I want to clarify one thing - when I use the TV Audio Swap is it still possible to use the soundbar as well or is the sound only on the headphones?I find the ambient noise annoying when I watch a film, but my roommates also want to watch the film. But it wouldn't make sense if they couldn't hear anything.Thank you.

I am totally frustrated and infruiated with the total failure of the new app. that was installed in May.         In my case the main problem is that I have lost all my play lists which disappeared with the new app, and it says no music available when I try to update. These Play List have been compiled over many years,  In addition to this I cannot install any new music from I tunes on to the sonos system any longer -it’s an absolute disgrace. In simple terms my sonos system is now useless!Following Mr. Spences  [sonos CEO] communication a number of weeks ago I would have expected some progress but in my experience nothing has changed . It is now 5 months since that failed  app was installed  & still no solution ,  how much longer are we expected to wait -6 months a year 2 years before all the issues are resolved , if ever!!  As one other contributor stated why don’t they re install the original app which worked well until they sort out the problems with the new app-is this not poss

Hi,since quite a while the playback of radio streams via MyTuner stops randomly. The music then simply stops and I have to restart the playback either via the app or via the speaker.Yesterday, I was told by the Sonos customer support to switch to a wired setup as my diagnostics showed wifi interferences. Now I’m back to a wired setup and I observe the same interruptions even on the device that is directly connected to my network (and on the devices connected via SonosNet too).Network-wise I’m using a fairly standard Ubiquiti setup consisting of an UDM pro some switches and AP’s. My internet is running stable and I do not face other complications, e.g. Spotify works smoothly in both network modes.Could anyone please have a look into my diagnostics if there is something else that could point to the issue?*Moderator Note: Removed diagnostic number for privacy. *Thanks!Sebastian 

Ho, I have a problem with my sonos era 100. I have a tv surround sistem which consists in beam, sub mini e and two era 100 for back left and right channels, the problematic channel is left back. A bunch of days ago I unplugged all tue devices because of a strange and loud sound coming out from the sub, then tue day after I plugged them in, everything works fine and connected evenly, except for the era 100 left back channel: it continues to blink white, without connecting successfully to the sistem. I tried to do a factory reset as explained in the manual, but it doesn’t work, it continues to blink white. What can I do?

In the lat month we have had 2 household power cuts and each time my sonos has lost the path connection to my music library. since the new issue of sonos app I am unable to add a music library on my Ipad or android phone and I have to fire up my aging laptop and use the windows app.just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues.An update to the new app would make life so much easier if I could just use my Ipad!

HiI recently bought a bluetooth speaker but suffered a connection issue with LG tv so I’ve been trying to get a refund for that and looking for a soundbar for movies.My LG tv model is OLED65B3SW.AKRG and I’m trying to buy Beam Gen2 through Amazon since I can’t get it in South Korea which means this will be a serious problem to me if the Beam dosen’t work properly. So before I buy it, I’d like to make sure If there’s a slim chance of problem connecting between thoes two products.In addition, It would be appreciated if you let me know a Sonos offical seller in South Korea and how to get a support if I buy it through Amazon.
