Such a simple connection to eArc HDMI on LG tv,  Started setting up on App….keep getting ERROR 1,000 as It asks to register product. won’t recognize the soundbar at all, my home interent notification tells me SONOS is connected to home wifi….…so app is useless to me but biggest issue is when I turn on TV, the sound(which is good when it finally kicks in) takes approx 2 minutes to work thru the soundbar. I’ve been on multiple sites looking for fix...tried so much...so second day of having it , I am returning in 2 days unless someone has a solution??

So using Windows on my PC for update worked!!  App volume works..love the sound. But there is still 2 minute delay when turn Tv on….going to update LG but at least I know , or think i do that it’s no longer Sonos related. Thanks for help

The error 1000 means the Beam needs an update and the mobile app is not able to initiate it.

Do you own a PC or Mac? If so, download the app from here, and use that to do the update.

How about the 2 minute delay(I’ve timed it a few times...it’s consistently around 2 mins but not exact) when I turn on my TV?  Is that an update issue or a tv thing maybe?  That’s the issue that has me returning it.

You never stated if you have fully setup the Beam at this point. If it has NOT been updated to the latest firmware, that can be your issue.

Are you using the cable that came with the Beam?

Do you have the correct ARC eARC settings for the Beam?

Yes I used cable to connect to eArc on LG tv and Beam. (No other anything else connected to tv)  As far as setup/settings...i followed prompts on App….including wifi password which successfully connected Beam to wifi...couldn’t finish...kept saying problem with update Error 1,000 Please try again
