I have over 20 Sonos speakers connected in various rooms to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi system. The frequently will not connect. But the next day they will. It’s intermittent and a reboot Of the local ethernet switch normally solves the problem.. Question: would it be better to switch to the 2.4 Gigahertz Wi-Fi network which I already have set up? If so, how do I do it?Gigahertz Wi-Fi network which I already have set up? If so, how do I do it?  Would I have to go and restart each and EVRI Sonos speaker by reconfiguring it?

2.4 GHz has more range than 5 GHz so that might help if the issue is range. The "New Router" FAQ will take you through the change.

Before doing that I'd assign static/reserved IP addresses to all Sonos. The router's DHCP page can help you do that.

Second I'd go through the Wi-Fi interference FAQ.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll ask my wifi helper to assist.
