Sonos app is losing the system, and when I am able to connect it, during for example couple of hours system is lost several times. Music is playing but I cant get contact to it. Move. At first a year-two years ago it worked perfectly.

Hi Sonos Community,I’m trying to integrate audio playback from my website with my Sonos system, but I’m running into an issue where the sound isn’t syncing properly. The audio starts with a delay, and sometimes it doesn’t play at all through the Sonos speakers, even though other streaming services work fine.Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Tested the playback on different devices (laptops, tablets), but the delay remains. Checked my Sonos app settings to make sure the network is stable. Updated both my website’s audio player and my Sonos system to their latest versions.Is there a recommended way to optimize website audio for smooth playback on Sonos, or has anyone else encountered issues with delays when streaming from a website? Can the Sonos Beam help simplify my home theater system? 

I would like to get all of my speakers to downgrade to the precious revision of firmware and the older version of the application software reinstalled. The auto upgrade a few months ago made the entire ecosystem extremely problematic. In three months, Sonos is still struggling with a ton of unresolved issues. The system is still completely unreliable, non performance and absolutely not user friendly. The application’s initial loading is slow and buggy. Songs skipped randomly without user input. The integration with Apple Music is subpar. I have managed products for over a decade. My entire product team would be shot if a release went as badly as Sonos’s release. All that I ask for is a path to normalcy and a good system that identifies with the standup and awesome brand that it used to be.  

The servers appear to be down tonight. Is anyone else having issues?  Updated the app on my iPhone earlier today and went to play music tonight. But every content section on the homepage says “Unable to load content” and where the graphics are supposed to be for services, favorites, stations, etc. are all black boxes with black lines scrolling across.  Thought it was the update but checked on my iPad without the update and same issue.  Was only able to play music in the room where music had been playing previously by pressing the play button.  None of the other rooms had content queued up so can’t select from any sources. Sonos seems to be having a lot of issues of late. 

My Sonos One I used for surround sound died (crackling sound) after less than 3 years.   Is this the normal lifespan of a Sonos speaker? 

Play:5 connection issuesUnable to set up and add PLAY5 (Gen1) to my existing system.  Did a Factory reset on PLAY5 (blinking Green) but Wifi couldn’t detect it (phone Wifi network same, BT is On).  Connect through LAN cable, and the app could detect the PLAY5. However upon clicking “ADD” for the next set up step, it prompts message  'Your mobile device couldn't connect to your Play:5. Make sure the Play:5 is connected to power.'  I've plug / unplug cord multiple times, eventually results with the same message.  Anyone can help?

FOLLOWING THE PROMPTS TO CONNECT THE SUB:Add Sub - (it also request to connect to Sonos… which automatically removes the App from the normal WiFi to the Sonos… connection) Press the Flashing Button on the Side of the Sub Pressing the Button does nothing… (tried long-pressing, as well - nothing happens)There months ago, someone posted the same issue without a resolution and the tread now has this message:“This topic has been closed for further comments. You can use the search bar to find a similar topic, or create a new one by clicking Create Topic at the top of the page.” Sonos - this issue is not fixed. Do not close it for further comments - we need to be able to utilise the products that we bought.

Would I be able to create a surround sound system with my Sonos beam soundbar, aftermarket rears, and a sub? I also have 2 or 3 Connect:Amps left over from a previous house. 

7 yr old Sony XBR, soundbar, surround speakers, sound bass, and Sonos bridge. WiFi video streaming.   YouTube TV works fine - turn tv on, select YouTube and instant sound.  However when I select Netflix or Prime, there is a minute audio delay before ANY sound starts up.  Sometimes I fast forward or reverse and audio then kicks in.  Any quick thoughts? Problem seems to be getting worse over the past year. 

I have been trying to reauthorize and connect accounts to the Sonos app and my account lately, but 90% of the time I get the message “Service not found” instead. I have tried everything I could think of without any success. What does this mean and how can I fix this? 

I have a Sonos Playbar, probably 10 years old. I have lots of music stored on my phone. Can I play this music through the Playbar? 

I have 2 Sonos on SL and keep getting the same error code as we did back a couple months ago. 1,000 I have tried every troubleshooting method and just lost. Online it says both are registered under my upgrade tabs.  when try to connect it says error 

Just setup the Arc Ultra and attempted to pair it with my existing Sub 3. Sonos app says they are paired but then they immediately unpair. I have tried factory resets and repairing multiple times, no luck. Tried calling Sonos customer support but the wait was too long. I’m beyond frustrated.

I am grateful that Sonos recently added lossless support on Apple Music. But it would be nice to also have the option to disable lossless for users who are experiencing streaming issues. I have a pair of Era 100s and Sub Mini that are pretty far from my router so they don’t have the most reliable WiFi connection. Before lossless support was added, I could stream Apple Music to these speakers with little to no issues. Now I can’t stream a song without the audio dropping out completely or skipping to the next song.

After adding an Arc Ultra, I’m now moving my original Arc to another room. I also have a Beam (Gen 2) in yet another room, and am trying to figure out how to best pair my subwoofers. One is a regular Sub (Gen 2), and the other is a Sub Mini.My first thought was to pair the regular Sub with the (original) Arc to keep the “higher end” gear together. However, the room the Arc is going in is significantly smaller than the room with the Beam (and there is a reason I want the Arc in that room, so that’s not a decision point). So maybe it’s better to use the Sub Mini in that room (along with the Arc)?I guess my real question is whether there is a functional tradeoff in using the Sub Mini with an Arc (relative to the regular Sub), other than overall power of the subwoofer. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts.

Can you simultaneously connect two Ace headsets to soundbar for audio play? Secondly, can you connect one ACE headset and still have audio play over the Arc soundbar?

EQ does not work on my Sonos Five Era 100 after doing Trueplay and trying to increase the bass there is no change nor in the loudness, my version is also 16.3.3, I confirm that there are problems with the EQ option.The EQ does nothing when moving it, nor does the loudness and it does not save itself either, and this apparently is the case with all the speakers.Even if you turn off Trueplay the EQ doesn't work or saves either.

Add Sonos feature to be able to see the song playing while iOS lock screen is on.  Having to pick up my phone to unlock it to view song/artist every time is wasteful and tedious.  

Hey all,I've recently moves and had to get a LTE router. The Sonos One and Roam SL I had before won't connect to the router though.I understand from the support team, that LTE routers are not supported but  I read in some comments that people use them successfully.I did split 2,4GHz and 5GHz and also checked rest of the router settings are as suggested on the support site. However that's where my tech savviness tragically ends…Do I need to connect a “normal” router to get it to work? Any tips would be very welcome and appreciated 🙏Thank you!

My buddy Reno refuses to upgrade his iPhone to os 18.1 because he claims it will cause the Sonos app to no longer function and he will be unable to use his system (eras and an arc). He refused to just play music through Apple or Spotify because he is equal parts stubborn and dumb. My group chat is not a green text hellscape because of this issue. Is Reno dumb or does he have merit? If the latter, what is solution? 

I own a pair of Black Sonos Ace headphones from new.  I’ve noticed the metal finish of the stems is now flaking off, so I get glitter debris coming off the headphones.  has anyone else had this issue, and if so how was it resolved? 

Since I upgrade to latest macos 15.01 the mac cannot see anymore the sonos device.the message says “cannot connect to device”. I Updated it to the latest sonos version. It works on IphoneI tried with the support all tests without success 

Hi,After upgrading the SONOS system to 16.4.4 (81.1-58120) I experiance massive problems related to my Sonos Roams Gen1.I have in total 3 Roams, 2 of them Gen1 and the last Gen2.However when one or both of the my Roam Gen1 are turned on the SONOS system gets very unstable or resposive.Problems experiance is that im not able to join/unjoin or control any groups in the entire SONOS system.Volume or play/pause is simply just giving me errors or just returning to the position it already was.Also the Roam Gen1 have worked flawless on 80.1, but now in the About Sonos System the Roam Gen1 does exist in the list but Version: <Number> (build 81.1-58210) and not showing the version 16.4.4 as it did until yesterday. So something is wrong, I have ofcause restartet the entire system, wireless and so on.But the problem seems to be related solely to these Roams after upgrade, and maybe when they are the Controller connected ones. I dont know. For now I did need to shutdown the Roam Gen1 just to
