Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have a Samsung qn90a with an arc and subg3. I am using plex on a Roku ultra and only getting stereo from my setup. The arc is plugged in to the earc hdmi on the tv, tv audio is set to pass through. How can I get any multi channel audio and atmos to come through. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you

My Roam stopped working.  I can’t even reset it by holding the power button.  I’m not quite ready to give up trying to get it to work, but I’ve tried everything!  Any suggestions?  It’s plugged in with a solid orange light.

Before the last update, i used to set surround distance even if trueplay was on.Now since thé last update , set the distance has no effect on surround distance with trueplay onVery annoying, and i'm not the only one who complaints ( sée reddit community)

. My employer  was given the 2 speaker system with some music in the library. What is the process to add music to the library including platforms such as YouTube or Amazon music? We love the concept and as a preschool it is an asset.   Thank You for any feedback and clarity. 

This might sound crazy but I’ve tested it many times. I have a Sonos One in my bedroom and like to play “music for sleeping” or sounds like wind or rain when I sleep. When I get up during the night, the speaker stops playing and the white light flashes for a bit as the speaker must be restarting. Then I have to ask Alexa to play the music to restart. If I roll over in bed, same thing happens. It’s as if it has a camera and is watching me.  This started about a month or two ago.I have a Sonos sound bar in my living room and I have never experienced this issue there. I have a puppy and have left him crated, with sleep music on, and it is still on when I return home.I do not believe the speaker does this if I play normal music. It only seems to happen when I want sleep sounds. And always cuts out when I sit up in bed or roll over, unless I do it very slowly and quietly. 

Hi there. I have a number of older Sonos speakers and only my Sonos Play 1 and Sonos Play 3 are compatible with S2. I also have a newer Sonos system, consisting of the Sonos Arc, and some surround gear. All wroks well independently, however igf I every try and “group” the Arc with the Play 1 or Play 3 it cuts the music out. I have the same issue if trying to group the TV side from thge Arc. Sometimes it works, but generally it cuts the sound on all speakers. I have checked everything is up to date.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, and a solution shared with the community.

HelloPeter Pee offers some interesting takes on how the Arc Ultra will handle LFE using the Sound Motion Woofer (SMW).  In explaining the design of the SMW he references two opposing drivers which to me (thinking outside the box) kind’a mimics the design of the Sonos Sub on a much smaller scale.The SMW per Peter will allow the Arc Ultra when using a sub to have a higher cross-over point thus not allowing vocals to bleed through to the sub as with the original Arc in some use cases. The end result should be better/cleaner dialogue.Peter also does a pretty good job of explaining how the Arc Ultra will produce the supposed 9.1.4 sound. All-in-all I thought his take on the Arc Ultra and how it is not an Arc Gen2; but a completely redesigned soundbar, justifies the Arc Ultra moniker instead of Arc Gen2.Click the link and listen to Peter’s remarks for yourself and let us know what you think.  

I’m planning on setting up a sound system at home (4 era100) but I have bad wifi and was wondering if I can connect this system to ethernet but still use bluetooth for streaming? To have good connection between speakers and good streaming from phone to speakers system

Hello all, I have a small apartment. I purchased a pair of Era 100s, a Beam Gen2, and a mini sub. I want to use this in three configurations1. Beam only for TV watching2. Era100’s+Sub only for music and line-in3. Beam+Era100s+Sub mini for movie night. I cannot find a way to do this and was told locally it’s not possible without setting up for movie night (3.) when the time comes then re-building things back to separate again via app for config (1.) and (2.)  A lengthy un-elegant process. Seams a simple grouping preset scheme in the app could solve this issue. Is this really not possible or a feature request?

Hi , I have a question.  Can I set up 2 different pairs of surround speakers on my home theatre.  ( one pair as middle and the other pair as rear).  I already have a Sonos sound bar and Sub  ( gen 3) thx Gord

Since the update earlier this year, I find that I cannot set an alarm to wake to a radio station unless it is in TuneIn(new). For example, even though I have Radio Paradise as a service, the alarm reverts to chime once set and saved. Even having RP Main Mix saved as a Favourite in Sonos Radio makes no difference. Have others encountered this and is there a solution?  

i have two Sonos roam 2 as a stereo pair, bought may 2022, one has stopped working.  Have tried 15 second start, have tried full recharge on various cable. Nothing is there any other way to do a hard factory reset. Is it still under warranty? 

The window/screen that shows the current track playing (see below) is getting totally stuck on my Pixel 7 phone. It doesn't advance to the next track, just gets stuck on the first. The speakers (ERA 300 pair) play back okay. I'm not getting the same issue on my two Oppo phones, it's just the Pixel phone that's affected. Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling app etc but no luck. This is the screen I'm referring to: 

Looking to set up my system to work with my tv and Phillips  hue lighting. I can’t find any help

I have 2 Move portable speakers. The app used to recognize both, but now does not recognize one of them. It is on a working charging station and connected with a working adapter into a working outlet. However, it does not charge or turn on when on the plugged in charging station. The only activity displayed is an orange light for about 10 seconds near the bottom front of the speaker. No other lights appear. I reset the wifi and that did not help. 

Just upgraded my subs to generation 4 after irritably finding out my two currents subs wouldn’t bond to the new arc ultra (I’ve got over it). So I’ll be selling my old subs and need to confirm which generation they are (I think one is gen 1 the other gen 2) Not seeing an easy way to confirmone is A200 2012 (so guessing gen 1)The other is 1605 (gen 2 maybe) included the hardware versions below any help gratefully received  Moderator Note: Removed Serial Numbers, considered private information. Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

I have a pair of Sonos Play 5 pair with the Sonos Sub as my stereo system for music playback.  In the same room I also have a Sonos Beam direct connected to my TV.Is there a way that I can have the Sonos Sub paired with both my two Play 5 Speakers and The Sonos Beam at the same time so that I can listen to either the Play 5’s or the Beam with the Sub?

I’ve just noticed that, after updating my Music Library, nearly all of the artists who start with a ‘The’ in their artist meta data are imported in to the Sonos Music Library with the ‘The’ chopped off. Guessing this isn’t intentional, why would it be? For example ‘The Cure’ still has it’s artist meta data as ‘The Cure’ but in the Music Library it’s under ‘Cure’. So the albums don’t show up if you search for ‘The Cure’Is there a way of raising bugs?

Just want to play some music using my SirusXM account on Sonos.  This was working last week, but today, no matter which channel I pick, I get the “Something went wrong.”  All my channels work fine directly from my SiriusXM app, so this is Sonos’ issue, not mine or SiriusXM’s.No, I will not reauth my account, as so many others have done.  Why should I have to reauth my account when this happens, WHEN NOTHING HAS CHANGED AND THIS WAS WORKING FINE LAST WEEK?  Good lord I’m angry, this is such utter incompentence.  This is the only function I have left that worked with some consistency after the May update, and now it’s just as unreliable.When I have to spend more time trying to fix your **** app then playing music, something is seriously wrong.  I have barely used my controller/systems since the horrible May update that showed us how seriously Sonos takes quality, and today just confirms my decision to sell off most of my units (I have two left).  And I STILL cannot add my iTunes library,

 I have a pair of Sonos Moves that I planned on connecting to my laser projector, and promptly found out that the Sonos Move is incapable of connecting to a device via Bluetooth once they are stereo paired. So, you have to unpaired them and connect to only one. Even then, I had no control over volume even on the buttons on top of the Sonos. Furthermore, once you are done you have to go through the whole stereo pairing process so it really is a pain in the ass. Love Sonos, but the Bluetooth situation is horrible. Do we have to find a workaround or are we stuck this way?
