Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Suddenly problems with my Sonos speakers. App can’t connect to beam-sub mini- speakers Sonos one.tried all the things I know. Reset router, reset speakers, upgrade app, upgrade system. Put out power plug en restarted all whitout solution.at a moment the app made connection with my beam, and then it was possible to Connect the sub and rear speakers. Next day same again: no connection, can’t find system. what should i do? 

I have spent 8 months trying to get access to my iTunes library that I paid for and curated over decades. My speakers have not played music for 8 months and I am close to trashing the whole system. I have emailed and been on the phone to Sonos several times in this time and no one has helped me. No one has checked in to see if it is resolved with each update and I am absolutely distraught. I hate this system, I hate this company and I am totally now traumatised. 

Woke up this morning to find my 4 Sonos speakers not working and no content showing in the App. Have tried rebooting all the speakers and my broadband router multiple times, to no effect. Tried logging on and off the App and have deinstalled and reinstalled the App on my iPhone and iPad, all to no avail. Chatted with Sonos on the App and couldn’t send diagnostics to them. Have got to physically call them tomorrow. Any ideas anyone??

I have a Sonos Ray soundbar that I have recently purchased, and it is not connecting to my Xfinity cable box remote control. I have set up the speaker on the Sonos App. I could not connect the speaker to the remote control using App prompts. I called customer service, sent photos of remote control, supplied identification numbers from remote control battery compartment and the cable box console, and was told that Sonos is unable verify compatibility. The Xfinity remote operates the TV and cable box without line of sight, so I believe It works using radio frequency signals. A quick Google search shows that most Xfinity remotes operate using RF signaling. The Sonos Ray does not come with it’s own remote, and is apparently intended to operate through the customer’s remote or TV. Another quick Google search shows that Comcast Xfinity supplies more than 40% of the United States with broadband and cable, so I suspect that an extremely large population of the U.S. has the same remote contr

Just purchased an arc ultra when assigning my subs gen 3 and a gen 1 to my living room. The gen 3 has no problem assigning to the living room but the gen 1 won’t assign to the room.

Hi I have been having consistent issues with my Sonos and am getting very frustrated. Cannot connect play 3 with new router wi-fi 6… 

My TV group (Playbase, Sub and 2 Play1’s) has periodic audio dropouts during streaming of audio when grouped with other speakers. It works fine when not in a group and when playing TV audio.  This is new with the latest update, but did occurred in very early updates.  The Playbase is wired to my router, but WIFi is turned on. 

HiI’ve read a few threads related to this topic and most of them are over a year ago. I wanted to ask this question again to see if anyone experienced this with the newer TVs using HDMI eARC on the Sonos and the Apple TV. Setup:LG OLED C4 + Sonos Arc + Apple TV 4K Apple TV 4K connected to HDMI 1 Sono Arc connected to the HDM2 eARCIssue:On the TV, when trying to switch the sound output to any other types other than HDMI eARC, within seconds, it automatically switches back to the HDMI eARC. I have a set up to use the digital audio PCM to connect to the mixer for at home entertainment karaoke. In my previous LG TV LED, I wasn’t using the Sono at the time and able to switch between the TV Speakers and Digital Audio without any issue while using the Apple TV 4K connecting to HDMI 1.  From what I’ve read, this is not specifically to LG, but it I more specifically to the HDMI eARC CEC Simplelink setup. 

After I updated the Windows desktop app on December 12 - when prompted - I stopped being able to play anything from Spotify on any of my Sonos speakers. I have some old Play 1, but also some ERA 100s as well. None can queue up any songs from Spotify. If I switch over to my YouTube Music service, it queues up songs without any issue. If I use my cell phone Sonos app, that will queue up songs from Spotify. They will play, but when I look at the queue, it does not display a list, but says “Queue: Started from Spotify”. This problems - at least for me - is only happening on the Windows app. I have uninstalled the Windows app, but it is the same thing. I have of course rebooted my machines. Since everything is working fine when I use the cell phone app, it cannot be a problem with my network. After installing the update to the Sonos app on 12/12/2024, all of the PCs in our office lost the ability to manage Spotify via the PC app. The support bot suggested restarting our router, but we have no network instability here and the controls work fine on mobile. There are also no issues with other services such as Sonos Radio.Are there any known issues with the new Sonos app version and Spotify?Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know if the auto EQ adjust that lowers the bass output on the Arc Ultra when it’s mounted in the Arc Ultra wall mount can be defeated? I have the Arc Ultra  mount and there does not appear to be any magnets under the adhesive cushion strips. It seems like the entire mount is magnetized.This does matter from an SQ perspective in my mind. If you suppress a frequency and then boost it with EQ the boosted frequency will not be as clean in comparison to the unsuppressed source frequency.

Is it possible to add a Wiim mini to the line-in on ERA 100 stereo pair?  Looking for an alternative method to get Tidal connect working through my system. Any advice welcomed. 

Hi ,I have just downloaded Sept 18 iOS app update with improved queue management which is better thank you. However when I add a track from my music library it just shows just a blank entry. Any ideas anyone ?   

I purchased a Sonos Arc (OfferUp, $450).  It works great but I was unhappy to find out it only works on the S2 app.  I have older Play 5s that are on the S1 app (not in the same room as the Arc). What Sonos Sub can I add to the Arc with the S2 app?

I have a Beam + Amp + Sub home theatre setup. I also have a mixture of other speakers throughout the rest of the house - another Amp, a couple of Era 100s, a couple of Play 1s and a One. They’re all running on wireless on the same network via multiple Unifi WIFI APs.Generally speaking, everything is working ok after several months of chaos, but there a few remaining niggles. The most problematic is that I can’t Airplay to the Beam. It immediately fails with the error ’Unable to connect to “Living Room”’. The behaviour is consistent and exactly the same from a wide variety of different Apple devices. I can successfully Airplay to all the other speakers/Amp in the system that support Airplay, including  some on the same WIFI AP as the Beam. The other day I finally got round to trying to sort this out, and I factory reset the Beam and re-added it. I was happy to see that after doing so Airplay now worked, and I thought that was the end of the matter.Sadly, a day

I have a small vacation home.  When I go between the vacation home and the main house I have to update the network and add the speakers to the app everytime since Sonos released their new app.  With the old app I never had to do this.  The app still sucks and is not getting any better.  Does anyone know how (if possible) to not have to go through this process everytime I switch homes?

I have Arc 100 speakers in the theater mode. I accompanied the Tru sound operation. I have a problem with one of the speakers not being loud enough. Do I or can I increase the volume on that speaker?

I have been a Sonos proponent for the last 12 years.  It has been a beautiful thing with superb   sound quality….. until lately.   I feel like Sonos has taken a beautiful thing and just completely turned it into a lump of shit.    one problem I have is that my speakers are constantly disconnecting while playing the the skipping moves around from speaker to speaker and then all of the speakers will go out and then one of the speakers will come back on and then a few more will come on and it’ll go off on some others. It’s just literally a nightmare.  I will add that I have a boost set up so this should not be a problem since that is the exact purpose of a boost,… to stabilize playback.    but that’s not even the worst problem. Tonight all of a sudden, the audio sounds terrible. I like a lot of good Rich deep base.  I just cranked up my music on my sonos to do my Friday night house cleaning and it is as if none of my setting for base (equalizer, sub volume, etc) are prevailing.   There

My tv sits on top of a tv cabinet. I placed the Arc sounbar about an inch in front of it but still on the tv cabinet top so it’s maybe an inch below due to the tv stand - not 4 inches. What will that affect? What is the purpose of the 4 inch rule?

Hi,Does anyone know if I can continue to dual wield the Sub2 with the Arc Ultra if I own a Sub3?

I have four 'new to me' ZP100s. Three of them set up no problem and have been working fine. The forth keeps dropping off the Connect  app. If I run CAT directly to the switch the ZP100 still drops but the network port lights still flash. I've tried factory resetting  and re-adding the product several times but it still does same thing. The other oddity is that the white status light on the front of the ZP never lights up - even during factory reset. I've gone into settings to make sure it's set to on and it is.No support from Sonos since I'm not the original owner.Anyone experienced this? I don't think it's power supply since the network port lights still flash.
