Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Do I have to adjust the volume of my era 100 speakers during setup or does it happen by itself? If I have to do it then how is it done?

My arch will not recognize my era 300 so it can make surround sound. Whats going on? 

This is the email after getting off the phone:“Hello Thanks for Contacting Sonos support , Here is the following email with the information we discussed beforeToday we discovered that they are like 7 network devices sharing same network name > 4 devices from company neatgear and 3 from company called Humax and thats making the system to change between one or the other one so we have to make sure they have different network names or you can ask your Internet provider if they could bridge the network so we can prevent this issue from happening If you have any questions please give us a call”I asked multiple times why I could not just factory reset the devices and he was ignorant. He also said he would link how to fix the situation in the email and there as nothing attached and no instructions. It seems the support person misunderstood the situation.  My arc, sub mini and era 300s have not been able to properly connect to the Sonos app or join the same room for months.  Arc alone can join but after that, the app or speakers encounter some issue or another and the process fails.  Again and again.  I have reset all speakers multiple times, reset each speaker multiple times, performed all app updates and individual speaker updates.  I have reset WiFi.  I have tried every possible permutation in a systematic manner to get the speakers to connect and join the same room.  No success.   SONOS, your system is an absolute dumpster fire.  Fix your system.  I cannot believe you are a public-traded company and still have these issues, months later.  Your speakers are just expensive, aesthetic paperweights.  It is completely unacceptable for a premium priced product.  Stop spending money on expensive marketing and advertisement.  Instead, refocus your efforts and exercise some humility in reverting your sys

My Sonos Roam SL has stopped working. reset and reboot don't work? The status led does not come on at all. The only led that comes on is the charge led , which stays on permanent solid orange.

Sonos, please tell us the plan and what you are doing everyday to make this work.My system can't be trusted anymore and I'm pissed at you for creating this problem for me and thousands of other loyal sonos customers.Please keep us informed on what you are doing to make it right!

Been struggling for a while connecting my Sonos 1 & 3 to the app . Sometimes they connect within a couple of attempts but most of the time I’m 20 - 30 mins trying to connect . Anybody have any fixes ?

My system completely bricked today, the DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING, and I am mad as hell!  I am surrounded by a house of SONOS products that do I not work! Whomever released this app and decided to release now should be fired.  Sonos, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Your company we went from a great company to a trash company within the span of a click. No longer a SONOS believer!

Everything connected by WiFi.  I have Apple Music and YouTube Music connected in the app. Recently Apple Music has essentially stopped working and as far as I can see from the other topics there is some issue related to the lossless support that was added by Apple. The app displays that it is playing a track, the lossless icon is present but no sound is played, it can play for a few seconds and then sound disappears. HelloI currently have an Arc, Sub and two Sonos Ones.I currently have my Sonos Ones mounted on the wall in the corners. It has served me well for a few years but I am tempted to upgrade to Era 300.The Era 300 I think would need to be mounted just out from the corner, but am I doing this right? I see a lot of people saying to put them on stands but I don’t really have that sort of room and the wall would certainly be better?Also given where I have them, would I need to invert mount them or would standard orientation be OK?Thank you for any advice.Matthew  

I have two Era 100 speaker and a Roam. The two Era 100s operate fine on the home wifi system. I can see the Roam but when I choose to play “everywhere” including the Roam I get a message “Unable to connect. Try later.” They are all showing in settings as being visible and on the same wifi system. I have tried re-setting wifi etc. Any ideas?

Ok to place a sub mini in wood cabinet? Front door taken off. Leaving enclosed top, bottom, both sides and back. Cabinet enclosure is 13” x 13”. For sub mini. Thank you friends. 

Hey everyone,My system is well connected to my WiFi. It shows all my speakers and surround in the app as being connected and available. But the app seems unable to actually send / play the music or any other service to the system. When pushing play the icon just kind of is on hold as if it’s trying to connect. i have updated the system and reconnected to my WiFi a million times now. what am I missing?? Greetings from Denmark🇩🇰

I have a peloton that only streams bluetooth, but a TV with HDMI arc. Currently I have a bluetooth to RCA, sonos amp, two definitive front speakers and a definitive subwoofer. I’m looking to swap out the definitive fronts but keep the sub. Can I add two sonos era 100s as the front replacement and group them with the sonos amp? I need both bluetooth and HDMI arc connections. Also FWIW, sonos would benefit adding bluetooth in their amps or beams (perhaps even putting a HDMI arc connection in the era 300s) to avoid people having to pay $1k for that feature in the ARCs that support HDMI arc.

What do you guys think about the sound quality/ mastering of Qobuz comparing to Apple Music? I’d say Apple Music has that “pop” factor and has more of a punch for mainstream music - in short, “extra processed”. On the other hand, Qobuz’s is more towards the organic of the sound so on less bassy or critical listening tracks, the instrumental separation is more prominent compared to Apple Music.That is just my take. Please give me your opinions.

Sorry for the question but I can't find answers.I bought the beam (gen2) and it is connected with HDMI (ARC) to the LG TV. All good for listening to movies (and also music only).But after I watched a movie I would like to go back to listening to the TV with their speakers WITHOUT beam.I try to set the TV speakers, but after a few seconds the HDMI cable automatically goes back and therefore on the BEAM.Can you please explain to me how to do it?many thanks

Every day i have some issue! Green light on two sets of my ones, other speakers not connected, xant find speakers, the app is still not working properly. I hate Sonos and wish i could start over with something else 

I tried to factory reset my Gen 2 sub but I started the process before it fully powered off and now it’s in a state of resetting but never finishing. Anyway I can fix this? I’ve tried restarting the process and it didn’t change anything. 

Hello I have had a Sonos system with a Connect: Amp powering two in ceiling speakers and a beam gen 2. Recently the 2 ceiling speakers stopped working. They are all still connected in the same room (as seen on the app) the connect: amp is connected via Ethernet but the beam is not. Both the beam and connect: amp used to work when I first added the beam. I’ve tried resetting my router and factory resting both the amp and beam. I have no idea what else to do. Please help !!!

I fire up the system, start listening to the music and suddenly one or more products disconnect sometimes all of them then it starts one ore two products but not all at the same time, it is really annoying not able to listen music as it should be it doesn’t matter if it’s Apple Music or Spotify.

Hello everyone,I’m a new owner of the Sub Mini speaker. Before that, I had a system using Beam Gen 2 and three Symfonisk Gen 2 of which two were used as a surround set up for the Beam while third was a separate speaker in another room.I moved to my new apartment last summer and had to change three different networks/routers and it was never a problem connecting the system to the new router altogether. However, once I tried connecting Sub Mini yesterday evening, everything collapsed and the entire system stopped working.I have since reseted each speaker multiple times and started connecting them again, but I could rarely get them to work. The latest method I tried is brining them to another room which has my router in where I connected the speaker by ethernet cable. I was able to connect them, update network setting (to continue using them after disconnecting from ethernet) but once I disconnect them and move to another room, the speaker disappears from the a

I quite fancy the new Era 300 speaker and still want to play my CD collectionI am looking at the Denon set up, can I play my cd’s on this to a Sonos 300?It’s not a wi-fi cd player but will it work if I connect the player directly into the speaker.Thanks all 

HiyaI have a Beam and two Ones which are set as a hone cinema but only in front, I can't get any power behind our viewing position. I've set them up with the One's as surround but is there anyway of telling the app that they are Front Left and Rights not rears?
