Green light projecting - says off in the appwouldn’t  be so bad if it wasn’t the bedroom!why? and why does every week feel like “just another thing has broken” 

Hi alli just purchased arc and sub gen 3 and connected to Samsung frame tv.  the first thing I have noticed is audio output is low.secondly, when I play anything on YouTube on Samsung tv app, on Sonos app it always show streo pcm.even though on tv under expert setting earc autosound output autodigital Dolby on but I’m not ableto select pass through , it only gives option for autopr pcm  

I have a full sonos system around the house and integrate my Rega planar P1 and Marantz CD6007 using a sonos port.  My question is this:Can I improve the sound output from my Marantz CD6007 by connecting an external DAC inline (using the optical output) and then into the Port, or is that just a DAC into a DAC? The Port obviously has a DAC inside it but can I improve the signal before it gets to the Port?Many thanks in advanceNeil

Hi there, We’re planning to change the layout of our living space, we’ll sort of divide the couch space from the kitchen space by a open ceiling to floor shelf that is connected to a wall, means off center, and you would pass the shelf when going from kitchen to couch. Attached is a screenshot of the situation. Questions is: I will sell my Sonos Beam, because watching TV is less and less important. Switching the 55 inch to a 32 inch that sits on the shelf. I need a new Sonos speaker for Music and Radio that will sit on the shelf. Is the ERA 300 a good speaker for the situation? Would you turn the speaker to the living space, or kitchen space, or would you turn the speaker facing to the side of the shelf? It will only be one Speaker because two will not fit. thanks for your opinions.s.

With my new system Beam 2, mini sub and ERA 100 all plugged into internet except ERA. My rear speakers two era 100 i constantly am hearing like a choo choo sound snow. I am only about 15 ft from my router. It seems to happen when rear speakers go low in volume. It can be annoying. Any thoughts to this matter I would appreciate. Thank you my friends.

Hello, how can I deregister a sonos product?

I have updated the Sonos app and am trying to install my two Sonos play one speakers to my existing system. I have installed an ethernet cable and connected them to my router unplugged them then plug them back in while holding the pause button until the Amber light starts flashing it only flashes red and has been doing so for about 15 minutes. Is there anything I can do to, accomplish this and reinstall these to my system 

I just moved and am setting up Sonos in a new location and different router. I reset devices to factory settings. Music works fine. The Arc and Sub work fine with tv.  The problem: If I am watching tv with the arc and try to play music on the whole system, the arc will not switch to the music.  The music plays through the arc so I hear both the tv sound and music at the same time.  

I work for geek squad I've been doing this for 12 years. I would always recommend Sonos for their quality and ease of setup. But in the last change of the app and updates, they are unusable. They will not connect to the internet via Wi-Fi or ethernet they are absolute nightmare to get going. I don't know what you have done to this product but I no longer recommend them and I refuse to let any of my employees sell them. Do better

I have a Sonos Arc Ultra connected via the HDMI Earc cable to a 2021 Sony XR-65A80J tv.  I’m using the Sony remote that comes with the TV.  When adjusting the volume there is 1) a delay in the volume response at the TV and soundbar, and 2) when adjusting the volume by multiple steps, it misses the input unless you press the button, wait, then press the button again.Can this be corrected with the tv settings? Or is this a common problem across Sonos soundbars and Sony TVs that is still unresolved?

I have DIFM channels listed in my Sonos Favorites on my iMac but they are not showing on the Sonos App on my iphone. Use to show on the “old” TuneIn service. 

I had a system with six Fives set up and working perfectly. I moved house - using exactly the same wifi  system name and pw - and now, although the wifi sees all the speakers and AirPlay from my phone works fine, I have two problems with two different kinds of “registration”:- the speakers are not discovered by the Sonos app when I do “add product”​​​​​​​​​​​​​​-Sonos says they are not registered to my accountI’d like to be able to 1] use all the functions of the app and 2] rename the speakers to correspond with the rooms in the new house, etc.My eero wifi recognizes the Fives’ device names (eg, Sonos-347E5CD53DA0) as well as the names I assigned (eg, Living Room).  But the Sonos app doesn’t even see them.   How can I add them to my (now empty) system?  How can I change their names?Thank you in advance

Randomly got notification to login as system owner in order to adjust any settings beyond playing music. Unable to do anything with account even thought I am still logged in to the same account with my same email. I never even logged out. Not sure if it is new app. Currently mid September 2024.  I tried everything from using a different device to completely deleting app and logging back in. I got desperate after looking at other peoples issues that were similar in nature and I needed to adjust the bass and treble because my son was sleeping.  i ended up factory resetting everything and deleting my account. I created a new account under the same email and re-set up everything with no issues. I tuned everything and did all the things with my bar and two surrounds. Everything was great.  that was until I tried to access the bass and treble settings as I have been doing for years. Now my system claims only one speaker is connected and gives me an e

Currently using Sonos Beam Gen2 on Sony 65” TV with eARC connection in HDMI 3. Sounds great overall, but background stadium noise when watching sports sounds very tinny or like through a metallic hollow tube.  I’ve confirmed through the app that it is running Dolby Atmos or Digital 5.1. Settings on (Google) TV are: Speakers > Audio System; eARC mode > Auto; Digital Audio out > Auto 1; Dolby Digital Plus output; Pass through Mode > Auto.    I’ve also messed with several tuning settings in the app, toggling off/on Trueplay, loudness, night mode, speech enhancement, etc. with no major effect on the background noise.  Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

I have just bought an era 300 and set up the new app (have an old Play 5 with Sonos 1 controller).  Trueplay set up goes into a loop so I cannot set it up and the slider volume control just pops back every time so cannot use that either.  Really poor app.  I have re-booted phone and still nothing working.  Any solutions?

After much searching in this forum, I solved my first issue in that the Tidal service was not available to add in the app. That was fixed by logging in to the desktop site and updating my address.Now Tidal appears as a service to add, and I can navigate through the authorisation process. This takes me off to Tidal website where I successfully log in and authorise.However, back in the app, it just won’t add Tidal. Just says it can’t. I’ve reset the app multiple times, rebooted the phone (Android), but it just won’t work.This is rubbish; I can’t play my music, making our Sonos speakers useless.When is this being fixed? It’s clearly an app problem. p.s: I also tried playing music through the Tidal app, then try and authorise as it played. Didn’t work either. The Sonos speaker is detected by Tidal, but won’t cast the music due to the authorisation bug.

I am having weird issue with Hisense U7 smart remote and Beam Gen 2. I cant turn on the tv with remote as it looks like beam 2 is obstructing the signal. but if i turn on the by taking the remote really close to tv receiver then tv turns and the remote works fine even from really far and can turn off tv fine. just cant turn on the from far normally.the other issue is that if i go to soundbar input from the tv when sonos home page comes up it shows 1280*720p x 60hz. i tried included in sonos box and also tried a separate hdmi 2.1 cable and same issue.any idea?thanks

I’m still stunned how Sonos using all credibility in this new app from hell. I still can’t se my playlists in the iOS app but on my desktop it’s there.And here is the latest setback. I have some playlists which is containing only Spotify music. I can’t play them anymore. Error message is that I have to upgrade my Spotify account to play the songs, which i every aspect is confusing since Sonos declares that Free as well as Premium account works fine.The thing is I have a premium account but I still get that darn message.I have removed the service Spotify and added it again. Twice. I have removed the macOS Spotify app and reinstalled it.I done the standard support procedure and rebooted my laptop and the router.What’s next? Best regardsM

I tried to set up my Sonos Move 2 with my iPhone and after I downloaded the Sonos app and connected to the device it asked me to finish setup-->Not registered->Fix it and then it says” There was a problem checking for updates. Error code-1,000. I tried to reboot the speaker and reinstalled the app to no avail.Any recommendations?

The Sonos queue exists but has no art or track details. I have factory reset the Symfonisk speakers and checked the Sonos app is the latest version. What can I do? 

HelloI use SONOS S2 on my PC (Windows 11).For some time now I have noticed a high frequency refresh (1 to 2 times per second) of the central part of the screen where the current playback (at the top of the screen) and the current list (at the bottom of the screen) are displayed, which makes it very difficult, if not impossible, to scroll through the list to select a title, because each time it refreshes the list display returns to the top of the list. For the same reason I can no longer access the options (play the song, delete the song, info & option)I reset the SONOS S2 software, I uninstalled and reinstalled SONOS S2 but the problem persists. I have 2 other PCs in Windows 10 and the problem is the same.I have no problem with my phone (SAMSUNG S21).Has anyone already encountered this problem? How can I resolve this anomaly?

I have transferred my music library to my IPad from my pc.  The music appears in my “Music” app on the iPad and plays on the iPad.However, my Sonos S1 app does not recognize this local music source.On my android phone, my local music appears as “On this Mobile Device” and plays over same connect system.Any ideas?

I bought Sonos five today an connected them successfully to Sonos S2. Have used Sub gen 1 in a S1 system before. Removed the Sub from the S1. Reseted to factory. Sonos S2 still does not find the Sub. Why?
