Upgraded to the latest version. Figured it couldn’t get any worse. I was wrong. Anyone else having issues with Deezer?I can navigate Deezer see my playlists, favourites etc. that’s all goodi can also see recent music played and searched for prior to the update and play that no problemwhat I can’t do is search Deezer. When I try and search for music I get results from other services but Deezer has a red exclamation mark next to it. When I click on this I get the message “An error occurred with Deezer. Try again later”I know it’s not my credentials or anything like that as I can still browse and play things from Deezer as explained above. The issue only occurs when I try and search new musicI’ve reauthorized the account but that made no difference. So if I want to listen to music now I need to use the Deezer app. Favourite the song or add music to a playlist just so I can then find it on the Sonos app.

I don’t get the same results in the Sonos app when searching Storytel compared to the same search in the native Storytel app. I have also seen similar results with Spotify. Something can be found in the native music service app, but not when searching for the same thing through the Sonos app.E.g. I searched for an author in the Storytel app. I got 59 results. Searching for the same author in the Sonos app just gave me 38 results.I can of course “cast” from the native app to my Sonos system and start playing it that way. But the queue functionality is very limited when doing it this way and it is not possible to queue multiple things in this manner.

HiSo i got a new router yesterday and tried to set up my Sonos system again. But My playbar and sub wont connect. I can see both of Them in the app and when i try to set them Up it says preparing and then the message a problem occurd unplug and try again comes up.I've tried to factory reset them both but that doesnt help. And tried to use a cable between Them and the router too but that doesnt work either. Im wondering if anyone has any ideas or could provide any help on how to proceed.My 2 One SL installed without a hitch.

Hi,  I am looking to upgrade my TV to match up with my Arc Ultra and I wanted to make sure there are no issues connecting these two together. 2024 Sony Bravia 8 and the Arc Ultra. plan is to use the E-Arc connection as I have done before so I really don’t expect an issue, but thought I’d ask before I spend the money on the TV

I have a Sonos Ray connected to my tv and attached to the tv on a mount to hide all wires. I’d like to get a cd player to connect to the ray so I can enjoy the sound via the Sonos Ray. What are my options that don’t include purchasing a Sonos dock which is out of my price range? Is there any way to connect to my Sonos Ray via Bluetooth and avoid messy wires up to it? or use a blue ray player that plays CD’s and somehow mount that to the TV as well to avoid messy wires coming down from the TV to a player?

I have an older SONOS setup using (2) Connect Amps on a 2.4 G wireless network that a few months back stopped working.  I trouble shot the system cycling power to my Xfinity wireless router and I can see only (1) of the Connect Amps but, not both at the same time.  I have used the “Search for Product” feature and it cannot find the other Connect Amp.  I have reset my SONOS S1 App and still no luck.  If I disconnect the (1) Connect Amp I can see on the App and connect (power) the other (1) Connect Amp, I can see that one.  In other words they both work separately on my wireless network but, not together.  Need help in solving this issue.

Since the new Arc Ultra has Bluetooth, would I be able to play spatial audio tracks from my iPad directly to it instead of using Apple Music? I would like to play my own produced tracks, not Apple Music songs and there wasn’t a way to do it with the original Arc.

Will One SL speakers be damaged if played at 20 degrees to F?

I recently purchased an Arc soundbar & Sub(Gen3) and wanted to connect my existing speakers to the Arc. Suggestions greatly appreciated. 

I recently purchased a Sonos Arc, which came with an HDMI cable. I have a Rockefish $30 HDMI cable, “ultra high speed”, and “Dynamic HDR”.  I assume that the cable included with the Arc is already optimized, and I can return the Rocketfish cable.  But thought I’d check in with the community first; any benefit to using the fancy-pants cable over what Sonos included in the box? 

Is it possible to stereo pair a sonos roam SL to Sonos roam or Sonos roam 2?

Hi,Does anyone know the latest version of the Mac/OS S1 Controller.  I am currently running 11.14 Build 572150280 and am being encouraged to update to a download version called Sonos_57.22-59130.dmg.I can find no release notes nor any info on this update on the Sonos website or the App Store.  I have been running S1 for some time, having managed to downgrade from S2 a while back.  The system has been running fine since that time and has never been updated, but is is recently prone to dropouts of several seconds duration every 15 minutes or so.  Reset of my entire Sonos setup and Wifi mesh system has not improved the situation.Grateful for any info on the latest S1 update.  Wild horses couldn’t drag me back to S2!Thanks in advance.

I create playlists separately and dump them all in a folder that is indexed by the Sonos music indexer. These are simple .m3u files in their own directory with a full pathname. Some of the playlists load and play fine. For others, the player spins a bit before it gives up with “Unable to browse music.” It is therefore not a problem with how the playlists are formatted. I know for a fact that songs in the “unable to browse” playlists are in fact correctly indexed in Sonos; I can play them if I navigate to the relevant folder, and can find them by artist. It is therefore not a problem with access to the files. So why are some playlists ok and others not?Environment: Desktop - macOS Monterey; App - Sonos Controller vers. 16.4.2 (up to date, as per check for updates); build 81158074.NB - There is a thread that addresses “Unable to browse music” but it’s several months old and it seems to be resolved.   

I keep getting conflicting messages and stories with the following issue. On my music share some albums (they are compilation or what the system defines as that) show up in strange ways :For example:Album x with tracks 1-10 will show up 10 times with one track in each album.  Or it will show up 10 times with more than one track in random order. Or it will show up blankAnother thing that is not mentioned by Sonos is whether they will put back alphabetical indexation. With 2000 albums, it’s virtually impossible to browse otherwise.Non of these issues are mentioned on any of the information that Sonos give out about updates, present and forthcoming. Sonos support up top tier 2 sometimes say it is an issue sometimes not. So I would like to know if this is being looked into and something might be done. I use the system to play my music and with these problems it is virtually unusable.

I was renting a couple of years  between houses with most of my kit in store but I kept out 2x Play1 and 1x Play3. Been in the new place since April and getting the rest of my S1 system to setup - 2x ZP100, 2x ZP80, 1x Connect Amp.It seems only the Play1s & 3 can access my music library on Synology 416slim NAS. The others will play if I link them with one of the Plays. Tried deleting and adding the library again.I was aware of various threads on the Synology re SMB and had downgraded to SMB1 in the past but not working again. Saw this thread about making firmware edits on Synology  and really don’t want to go there - really ought not to need to go there - and I see some people saying it has reverted or no longer works! Sure I could probably plough through and see if it works but it kind of defeats the purpose of a supposed CONSUMER system.I only really need 4z zones - do I ditch this **** and go buy some Wiim or similar or am I just gonna encounter different problems?

Hi,My system is updated to the latest available version.I'm using the latest Android app 80.12.04-release+20241114.cfc873c. My system language is set to French.I'm using Pocket Casts as a service to listen to podcast episodes.I can add episodes to the list from the “New Releases” section, but it fails from the “Podcasts” one.It's working using the app on Windows. Screenshots:My list of podcasts in the Podcasts section:Selecting a podcast:(You can see there is a problem too with the date of every episode on this screen. my playbar is “blowing” with bass. I’ve opened the case and all 4 of the outer speakers are not sealed around the top. (between 11 amd 1 on a clock face) what can i do to rectify?

My sub needed to be reset after moving.  The factory reset is not working. It flashes orange but never turns green.  How can I add it to my system ? 

Would adding a 2nd sub to the front of the room right under the TV make any sense? I already have a sub right behind the couch. The reason why it’s not in the back corners is because I wanted to keep the base down for my neighbors. It can’t be in the corners up front because there is no wall. It’s a weird room.  

Trying to update and I get a message saying “There was a problem checking for updates” I’ve turned all units and the wifi router off and on again. Same error message.  I see all Sonos units on the app (I’m using an iPhone). The next step appears to be “close and reopen the Sonos app”. On the iPhone I can “remove app” then “delete app” which gives me the message “deleting the app will also delete its data”. Should I do this? Will I lose all the products currently set up...and anything else?? Any advice about this update failure gratefully received!

Hi,I’m building a home theater setup. I have a 9.2.4 setup in the room (arc ultra + 2 gen4 subs + 2 era300 ). I want to do some acoustic treatment to improve sound since the room walls are empty and have too much reverberation. I’m looking into getting some acoustic panels maybe also some diffusers. I’m trying to figure out how much can I treat without affecting sound channels directionality.I think I can put sound absorbing panels in the whole back wall behind the era 300 since sound doesn’t need to bounce back having back speakers. Also the front wall behind the Arc doesn’t need to reflect sound. Does anyone have experience or can share some advice?Cheers.

Hello. Problem with playing the Sonos connect amp. When you turn on playback, there is an instant sound and then disappears. As if the sound mute mode is turned on.I can send you a video of the problem.

I can no longer go into system settings🤷🏽‍♂️. Can’t adjust volume, EQ, etc. network is up to date?not sure why this is happening.
