Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Been with bt arc work great with surround speakers now changed to virgin media with hub 5 now cannot connect arc just keep saying password wrong when it's not driving me up wall things or never simple anyone have a fix to get me up and running 😀 

Good afternoon! 2.5 years ago my colleague asked me to support his home theatre system (around 20+ Sonos devices). There were some glitches before, but today I faced with sign in loop and constant ownership problems. Each time I want to update system, Sonos App tells me to sign in a an owner. In a couple of steps I was able to sign in as an owner (picture is attached) but according Sonos App I’m still not an owner and can not do anything.  I found similar case in support forum, but it’s closed now. Since the disaster of the new APP I have lost all my playlist which I have put together over a ten year period or more. When I select imported play lists message, the reply is, no selection available, also I can no longer import any new tracks from I tunes it’s a total disaster.                   It’s now 7 months since the broken new app was installed in that time there has been various announcements from Sony that these issues will be rectified -my question is when?. it looks like for the first Christmas in many years there will be no Christmas music  in our house!!I have been reading the community on a regular basis, looking for many solutions, and there must be hundreds if not thousands similar comments “Why can’t SONOS re install the original APP that worked perfect until they sort out the  issues with the new APP?”   CAN SONOS ANSWER THAT? & alsoWHEN WILL THE PL. ISSUES BE RESOLVED.

Napster on my Sonos system will not play radio, or playlists.  If I try, Sonos tells me the connection to Napster is lost.  I have rebooted Sonos, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Napster and nothing helps.  What is the problem?

Hi, while it was working very well, now it produces a veiled sound whether I am connected via Bluetooth or WiFi, I don't know why since it hasn't fallen. I tried turning it on and off, checking with the app, I reset the speaker but it doesn't change the sound.I hope you can help me. 

I have an aging Sonos Controller with 2 Sonos One speakers downgraded and all working under the S1 App. My problem is with the Line In connected to a DVD/CD player which now shows Disconnected.Everything was working fine until I decided to change the DVD/CD player which was connected by RCA cables. The new DVD/CD player did not work and showed in the S1 App disconnected. I gave up and put the original player back on and got the same thing. I have used several cables known to be working. I have even tried the optical digital cable, still nothing and the App showing Disconnected, I have also reinstalled the S1 appcan anyone help please

We have a brand new Era 300 and Arc Ultra. The Arc is tied to the new LG C4 TV by HDMI. The Era is paired to the Arc via wifi. While the sound is good, the Era sound keeps skipping. We had this issue with a Move as well. We started with an Arc and Move, were told to replace the Arc with the Arc Ultra as it has better connectivity. That has not solved our sound glitches. Replaced the Move with the Era. We have moved the Era around, and it doesn’t seem to matter. If we play straight to the Era thru the iPhone, no issues at all. For some reason, the communication from Arc Ultra to Era is bad. Open room, no issues with any other wifi device, have tried all the plugging in and unplugging scenarios. Not my first rodeo there. Wifi router, Era and arc are all within 20 feet oof each other. Very frustrated as we want this to work. Help!

My beam won’t show up in my app, it’s playing. I have 2 Play speakers set up as stereo pair and I’d like them all to work together. Pleasseeee help!

I recently tried to set up an old Sonos Play:5 Gen 1 and when plugged in it shows no indication of being powered on, there is no light at all and the Sonos 1 App cannot locate it.I have checked the power cord with my volt meter and it is good.I have done the Factory Reset procedure with no results.Is this Play:5 completely dead or could there be some other reason for the problem?Worst case: I can tear it open and use it as a passive speaker.

I have a new sonos setup (arc ultra, 2 300s, sub gen 4) with a new samsung s90d feeding content from an Apple TV 4K. I have the sonos wired via eArc and set to passthrough. During some content it kind of sounds like a micro stutter in the audio where for a fraction of a second the audio cuts. It's very short. Sonos and apple tv are hooked up via wireless. Cables seem fine, there are NO video stutters when this happens.It's frustrating I can't seem to replicate it, just have to wait for it. Anyone have any ideas?

Unable to disconnect music from a speaker.  Using port and cannot get it to play from my cd player because a song that was played from the Sonos app will not close.

Just got the ARC + MiniSub + Era100 showing up in the Sonos App, but TruePlay does not show up anywhere in the app.  The app did display the “set up TruePlay now” button box a couple times, and the TruePlay process started, but then shut down with “can do this now”.  Spent two hour with Sonos tech support and they said that TruePlay is not supported when you use the Era100s as surrounds.  Did all the fixes I could find and those with Sonos tech support.  I am also very technically savvy.  No go, can’t get TruePlay to function.  I did read a post where there may be a work around by not using the TV as the source, but the app won’t allow me to add another source… so that didn’t work either.  Using the most recent Sonos app / Samsung Galaxy S21 / Google Voice installed as the voice assistant.If anyone has any hacks or fixes to get TruePlay to work, that would be great.  Very very frustrated presently, and wasted so much time I don’t have.

I received the Arc Ultra a month ago and it works wonderfully my Sub 4 and my Era 100 in my living room. When I listen to Amazon  music in Dolby Atmos it's really perfect. But if I then décide to add my sonos speakers in the dining room or elseware, then the Dolby Atmos in the living room mute the sound for a second and then comes back in HD only. I don't understand this.

As stated in the title, I ask to know when spotify support will be added to South Korean users of Sonos products.It is frustrating and borderline discriminatory for us customers here to pay both Sonos and Spotify the same amount of money but not be able to use the services in combination when the rest of the world is probably vibing to their favourite tunes from spotify on their sonos speakers.And, I know there was a same topic from 3 years ago, but all the answer that the other guy received was a cold corporate answer that helped *********.So please, I want to know 1. why we Koreans are deprived of the service 2. what measures are planned or taken to fix this issue.Thanks in advance. Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

Tried everything to get Alexa to connect with S1. It did used to now doesn’t and won’t

I just set up a new network with a single Play 1 speaker.  For the life of me, I cannot get Pandora to play on the speaker.  If I try to add a service in the Sonos App all I can find is Pandora Cloud Cover service (to which I am not  a subscriber).  If I go to the Pandora app and attempt to cast, it appropriately shows me the speaker (room) I set up. If I click save, it just goes back to Pandora playing on my phone… i.e. it is not “casting” to the Sonos network/speaker. What am I missing?  I’ve tried the obvious and it’s not working… :(

We have a big system, spread between various combos of Play 1, Play 3, Amp, subs and soundbars.  And S2 is still terrible in our house:  Lag on the iPhone of 30 seconds or more, dropping speakers in stereo pairs, and search doesn’t work at all.  Makes the system almost useless.  It’s a little better on the  iPad, but still have unacceptable lag and search problems.  Any suggestions?  It’s really putting us off.

Hello Sonos people! I am in a five room apartment, I have pretty reliable 60/70 mbs internet, wired to 3 nodes of Google Mesh wifi (purchased 2018). My rooms are setup (wirelessly) as follows:LR - Beam, Sub Mini, two OnesDR - Two OnesBE - A single OneKitchen - One plus RoamThe problem I have is the speakers drop randomly and become non-responsive in the app. Is there something I could do to achieve more reliable service? I love my system, but it is also making me insane. Any guidance - including whether to buy a new router, and if so which one - would be much appreciated. 

Songs slips, one speaker appears in the list but does not make any sound... Almost every day i have to restart my router. I think Sonos really needs to work harder, much harder.

My wife and I both got a new iPhone 16 Pro Max. Mine connects to our existing system perfectly. Hers can’t find our system. I have reset the app on her phone. Still can’t find system on her phone. 

I have no way to use whole home sonos & help desk not able to solve why most rooms/options have been removed, No solve in site. room deleted and we are not able to add back in. Only arc & beam in bedrooms work. Has anyone heard of a solve to bring “whole home” back on line? A ton of $ spent and the app has no use

I want to know why my playbase has its own network that my phone can’t access. Because of this I still can’t connect my playbase and use it.

Can someone please advise in simple terms,...can I connect my old CD player from my HiFi stacking system to Era 100 ?I want to play my CDs through the Era100 with no other equipment in a simple two piece set up.I believe I use the Sonos Line In adaptor with other cable adaptors, but what do I need at the back of my CD Player ? I have Analogue Output LR and Digital Output Coaxial ?And very importantly, no sort of Amplifier required ?I have trawled the advice online but cannot find a straight forward answer.Thanks all.
