I have a home theatre with Sonos Arc, Sub and 2x One SL. I recently replaced the One SL with era 300 should I keep the one SL as part of the theatre in a different position or just move them to another room.

Since you can only have a single pair of surround speakers, the Sonos software won’t let you keep the second pair as part of the same software ‘room’. I have a second ‘room’ set up for the pair of PLAY:5 s I’ve got flanking my Arc that I use for Music, but they’re in the same physical ‘room’, just show up as a separate Sonos ‘room’ in the controller.

If you do set up a pair in the same physical room, or in a different room, experiment to see whether you prefer the stereo pair to be the Eras or the Ones. My Era 300 pair are rather pleasing for music.
