Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Having issues for over a year now with Apple Music and playing on my home system.  It just stops playing and now it won’t play at all expect thru my Sonos tv soundbars (I have wired Sonos speakers in my home).  Now on the app the volume is a light gray for the home speakerson versus the brighter white on the soundbars.  No clue what’s wrong or what’s going on.  I’ve refreshed, unplugged, reset and nothing has helped.  I absolutely hate this system as I built a brand new home with this cool tech and it’s been terrible.  Help… 

Anyone else having issues with Qobuz working through Sonos? The stand alone app is working, I tried resetting my Sonos Port, I deauthorized and reauthorized Qobuz and still no luck. When I on Qobuz I get “No content items available.” Not sure what else to try.

I have a home theatre with Sonos Arc, Sub and 2x One SL. I recently replaced the One SL with era 300 should I keep the one SL as part of the theatre in a different position or just move them to another room.

Like many I too know that the Sonos app is trash. People develop g it without being thorough or caring. How is it I’m able to log in from my browser on the Sonos site but when I try and log in from my app as I’m being forced to I get a blank page. Makes zero sense.  Useless

I would like to export my Sonos playlists in my Music Library to an OWC external 2Tb SSD.  I’ve seen the SonoSaver app and am thinking about trying it. But I have some questions:How should the SSD be formatted for higher res music?   Can I plug the SSD into my router and use it as a NAS or should I leave it connected to my iMac? I consider myself pretty much “tech-challenged”, so is the SonoSaver app an easy solution?

Over time the Sonos App on my devices has gotten slower, and slower.  Response time is horrendous.  I figure it’s gotta be from one of two things:All my devices are OLD Play: 1s and a SoundBar.  Perhaps they’re just getting too old for the current capabilities? I have found several threads discussing app performance and Network issues.  I’ve done a bit of superficial digging and I don’t **think** I have any network issues going on.  I’ve got a pretty solid and stable network. Several of my devices are wired rather than using wirelss, I’m using SonosNet still on the rest.   I COULD switch them to using regular wifi, though I’m a bit hesitant because I’ve been using SonosNet successfully since before Wifi was an option.Thoughts on where I should focus my energies?

I have noticed that the “Your Sources” item appears to have a mind of it’s own and someimes is visible on the Home screen of my iPhone app and sometimes it isn’t.   I believe this is bcause if the Sonos app cannot see ony of the sources the option does not show, but will only show if one of the sources is available.  For example, my TV comes from my Virgin 360 box and feeds my Sonos soundbar via an optical cable.  If the Virgin box is off, there is no “Your Sources” option, but if it is on, then “Your Sources will show in the appropriate room with “TV” as a selectable source.Of ocurse. it should be showing all the time as I have a Music Library stored on a NAS drive whic is ALWAYS on, but for some reason, Music Library seems have a wraith like character in that sometimes my app sees it and sometimes not.  This is on both the iPAD and iPhone apps.  The strange thing is that even when the apps do not “see” it, the Windows desktop app and the Web based controller have no di

Have a fairly old system (1s and 3s). Trying to connect to a new network, and keep running into issues. TP-Link ER605 V2 router, and a Meraki Switch MS130-24P.I have factory reset the Sonos units. New network appears to be running generally fine without any issues. I have changed the settings as advised on the Sonos page for managed switches as best I can (although it is all a bit technical for me).I would simply wire one of the units directly into the router, but according to Sonos, a unit needs to be added to the system via wifi first. But when I try to do this, I can add a unit all the way right until the final stage. After some time adding the unit to the wifi network, it then comes up with message: ‘Your Play1 has been added, but may not appear in your System. If so, unplug the power cord and plug it back in to finish setup from System Settings’. Problem is that when I do this, the unit does not show up in the app, and we have to start again, into a loop.I

Ok,I have had this issue since the app was changed. I stopped thinking about it for the last 5 months.  I’m hoping that it has been fixed in that time.  I use an imac and my music library is on an external hard drive attached to it.I have followed and rechecked the steps in the current support page to connect to my music library and it does not work.  Surely there is a fix by now.Even the online app is a fail.  It can see my music library but it wont search it.  Useless.The old Sonos controller macosx app works but then I am denied permission to play my own music.Please help.

This is so frustrating.  Amazon music's ultra HD sound quality is supported by my Sonos system.  However, connecting to amazon music is unusable.  I mean, Spotify is clunky but at least it works.  Amazon I can't even get it to work. Is this a thing?  Or just me? 

I have tried multiple times to tune Trueplay on one of my Sonos Ones. I have 6 Sonos Ones and only one of them will not save. I go through the process and each time it says it completed successfully. I go back to the Trueplay menu and there is no Trueplay Tuning on/off switch or an option to Retune. The only option is Trueplay Tuning (again). All of my other 5 Sonos Ones Trueplay just fine. It’s this single speaker that will not. I’ve tried unplugging it and even relocating it. Nothing works. Please help. 

I am looking for the best advice on mounting the era 300s. I am not sure if wall mounting or stand would be best. Our couch backs up to the open kitchen and is about 42 inches high. The top wall is about 5 feet from the couch. I am debating on mounting on the pillar(blue dot) and then mount on the wall by the window or the little pillar next to it. If I put the stands behind the couch you can see them in the kitchen. Hello - I need to setup a sub outdoors….  No options from Sonos…   My issue question is connecting the Sonos Sub Out (RCA) to the Sub’s amp.  When looking for an amp, they ALL seem to have an input for Left and Right RCA.  How do I connect the single Sonos Amp RCA output to Left and Right RCA inputs?  Splitter?  Connect to one of the two inputs?    Thanks!

My beam randomly disconnects when playing any of the music downloads including Sonos Radio. Does not disconnect when watching TV. Have tried all troubleshooting instructions but still happens

I have tried everything with my Wi-Fi and my streaming services and cannot consistently get my arc and my two  era 100 speakers to play music at the same time without problems or cutting out. I have the best Wi-Fi and even tried using an extender. I've also tried repositioning my ERA speakers.Except for the arc playing my TV sound, Sonos has been a total absolute disappointment. 

I have a pair of Bose 901 series 3 from ~1974. They are in great shape, although I need to test them.I’m a Sonos user for all my running audio around the house.  My plan to utilize the Bose would be to use a Sonos Port for the incoming signal, run the output thru the Bose equalizer, and then get a suitable amplifier to power the Bose speakers with the signal out of the equalizer.I’m drawing a conclusion that I can’t use the equalizer to adjust the signal out of the Sonos AMP.Thoughts?

I have Ray and Sony TV. The volume level keeps getting out of sync. For example, press Volume Up and TV will display, say, 40 but actual volume will be low.The degree of syn changes if I take volume down to zero (i.e. shows zero on the screen) then taqke volume up again.example today …Vol Up … TV shows ~40 but volume relative lowPress Vol Down until screen shows zero … actual volume about zero at this stagePress Vol Up … volume rapidly increases - screen shows about 24 but actual volume far higher than the “40” I had 60 seconds earlier. Any ideas how to synchronise these?I also have an Arc on different TV and it doesn’t have this problem. Also … Bluetooth turned Off (found that on another post)

I have an ARC and two SONOS One SL. After SONOS One SL power down/up the communication is lost and the systems does not work. I have to reset the two SONOS One with a tedious process. Do I have fault hardware or is the SONSO Software basically bad? I am expecting that the app will know the configuration, will know to use the selected WIFI network and will program the devices and the surround sound without any user intervention. Is this too much to demand?  

I had a split system. on S1 app was two ZP 100.on S2 app was playbar, an two one’si updated WiFi network and created S1 as above then set up S2 as above. when I went back to use S1 system all components have disappeared and S1 now says all components can use S2. where have my S1 components gone?can I get S1 working again or will I have to downgrade S2 components to S1 set up as S1 then split system again?if the latter what a pain and mess up!

Hello! Recently, the iOS app stopped making it easy to play music at the same level on every speaker in every room.  Until a few weeks ago, I would select all speakers, drag the volume slider for everywhere down to zero, and then back up to where I wanted it for my music. Now, individual speakers remember how much higher they were set and none of the numbers align. Is this a bug? Intentional?
