The new Sonas app is awful. It typically will not connect to music even when the music is playing, hence I cannot switch the music of,but worst problem is trying to control the volumes of the various sonas speakers. Even when I adjust the volume in the app it mysteriously changes itself back to the other setting.trying to adjust volumes is almost impossible and VERY VERY frustrating.fthis app should not have been released in such a dismal and poor state. It really damages Sonas reputation and brand.when will these problems be fixed..?

Hi everyone, my playbar in the living room has just started making a high pitched noise and I can hear it fluctuate depending on certain sounds on a tv show. How do I fix this as this is a older playbar 

I’m considering purchasing the Ace headphones. I was under the impression that the Ace headphones don’t work with the Sonos app, so you can’t play music to them from the Sonos app. This seems to be common knowledge. So I wrote Sonos support. Here’s the response:“Yes, Sonos Ace Headphones work with the Sonos App. They can be used as another device in the home Sonos network. Music services like Apple Music can be played from within the Sonos App on Sonos Ace Headphones.”Did something change? Or is it just their terrible support?

Hi there, I am on S2, obviously, since I have yet another random weird issue. 🤔I started that thread as a Deezer one, but the problem is wider. I can stream what is in my favourite, I can not browse radios (even Sonos) , Deezer or anything but my local music library. The content will not load, I'll have that weird error message and that's it.  Everyday is a deception with this app....What ever I chose, I have the very explicit and helpful message "there was a problem" (maybe slightly different as I am in french version).I have unlinked my Deezer account and linked it back, same, no playlist, no title, no nothing. My internet works well, I am on fiber and it is quite stable. Any suggestion?

After a proper upgrade, the device remains play: 1 say no connection can be made

I have tried several times to upgrade Play 1 and even with extended from Sonos helpline, failed to complete the process.  Here is what eventually worked:Connect your Play 1 with a network cable to your router, power on your Play 1 while holding down play/pause, wait until it flashes orange and then you can release.. After approx. 2min it flashed green. DO NOT REMOVE THE POWER CABLE OR DISCONNECT FROM THE CABLE FROM THE ROUTER.Go to the app, the Play 1 should be visible and require adding to your system.  Add it to your system and agree to the prompts to upgrade the speaker.  Continue to follow the app prompts which then successfully updates the Play 1.  Then disconnect the cable, and add it to your Sonos system following the + a speaker process of the app.It seems that staying directly connected to the Sonos web site via a cable worked for the UPGRADE rather than restarting and connecting via the app through your wifi.  Hope this helps if all else has failed.

Unable adjust amp settings. How do I log out and log back in as owner

When I go into Content Services in the iOS controller app my list of connected services all show up with the name “Service Name”. Is anyone else seeing this? (app build 80.16.32)  

Wifi names show up with weird names when trying to install new speakers.  could it be the special danish letters “æ” and “ø” that bugs it? Cant connect to the wifi networks with the correct password Moderator Edit: Removed personally identifiable information

Good afternoon,I currently have two Sonos One speakers.A few weeks back, I downloaded the Sonos App on my iphone and installed Calm Radio as a service.Unfortunately, I have experienced several issues using the Sonos application.First, after installing the two speakers on the Sonos App, these settings disappear shortly after.  Secondly, I attempted again today to add the two speakers to the Sonos app.  The settings are no longer there a minute later.Currently, I'm only able to listen to Calm Radio using my iphone.Your assistance in resolving this issue is really appreciated at this point.

I originally had this in “ask a question” but seems more relevant to be here and couldn’t find anyway to change the location of the post - the resolution might be useful for someone I have a new Sonos / Era 100 system, I’m using YouTube Music as one of my subscribed sources. I also have an Amazon Music account however I cannot find Amazon anywhere in the list of providers to add. I’m in Australia and as far as I can tell, should have access to it? The first suggestion was to check my country setting in sonos.com which was still set to the USA, changed that and had Amazon Music available to select. Second issue was after selecting Amazon, authorising it and being told from an Amazon perspective that it was successful, I kept getting “something went wrong” within the Sonos app (both iOS and Android). I was also having the same problem when trying to add a local radio station. I downloaded the Windows desktop app and that then worked in all respects, added both Amazon and local radio stat

radio plays on Sonos. the sound on the TV suddenly disappears 

Frequently (every second or third track in a playlist/album) the Dolby Atmos badge disappears. It re appears when I pauze/unpauze that track.

Will it be possible to add a ndi input for Sonos speaker 

I’m not getting anywhere near 30 hours of playback life with my new Sonos Ace headphones.  Maybe 10 if I’m lucky and a lot worse than even my 5 year old Bose QCs.   I’m turning them off after using - is there anything else that could be draining these?   The app is a hot mess so I’m not even using that - just regular BT connection through iPhone and MacBook.

I am using the latest version of the app on Android as of now and for no apparent reason the app does not recognize the set up system anymore (my wife's phone and app does and works no problem). I tried to reconnect to the system but says it doesn't find any devices on the network (which obviously isn't true - see screenshot) I am sitting next to a Sonos One and following instructions on how to reconnect pressing button on the back - but no doesn't find the system sitting right next to it. I don't want to go through the process of reinstalling the app and setting up the whole system again for the x time - it costs half an hour each time and at the price of your products we should be able to expect that you can employee at least one software engineer

I have 2 similar TV setups and both experience minor lip sync delays when watching any TV via Apple TV 4K (black box), e.g. Netflix   When I watch using the LG TV’s inbuilt apps, e.g. Netflix, they’re no delays.I have used SONOS and Apple TV for many years but don’t recall the delay being so noticeable.I have read many comments about this issue and have tried everything I have come across.  Does anyone know how to fix this problem?NotesAll firmware and software on all devices is up-to-date Audio sync settings have been run on SONOS app, LG TV and Apple TV, including the Apple TV sound calibration and SONOS trueplay. all lip sync settings are set to Zero, however, I need a setting below zero to sync the sound.  Primary TV System:LG TV model: OLED65B8STB Apple TV 4K (iOS 18.2) Sonos: all connected via WIFI (wifi 270mbps)Arc Ultra connect to ARC HDMI port on TV Sub 4 2 x Onethank you in advance to anyone that responds to this post.

When I first turn on my television, the Arc Ultra sounds “choppy” (for lack of a better word).  If I happen to look at YouTube, for instance, the sound is terrible, it happens every time I turn it on.    Once i tune in to a show that has Dolby Atmos, it corrects itself. . . Sounds great.. .and then works fine for anything t I watch afterwards.  I’d like to fix it, if possible.   I use Apple TV 4K, Samsung Q90R (2019).  Thanks in advance.

my two Moves connect to Bluetooth, but my two Era 100s won’t. 

Hi folks,I’m a long term Sonos customer, circa 2010 with the original Play 5 and now with speakers dotted around the house.In the living room I have the Arc with a Sub (Gen2) and 2 x Play1s. I recall this system generating really punchy bass but after trying it recently all I can hear is muddled bass. There is no clarity whatsoever and I’m not entirely sure when this changed. The system is not truplay tuned but it shouldn’t need to be to generate half-decent sound. It’s so bad that I played the same track (Money for Nothing) on both the Arc/Sub and a single Five and the Five is a clear winner. The Five is an incredible stanalone speaker but there’s something not right with it being so much better than the Arc + Sub.In terms of EQ I have the following: EQ Bass +2, EQ Treble +8, Loudness disabled, Sub Level +3. Phase tried at both settings with no real change. The loudness doesn’t really make a difference either. For comparison the Five EQ is set to Bass +3 and Treble +5 with loudness en

Is there a feature that allows you to mute playbar but keep surround sound? Looking for a way to watch a football, baseball, hockey, football game without having to hear the annoying commentators or announcers. Would like to peacefully watch game with only the stadium noise audible. I know many other surround sound systems have this option, does Sonos?

I have a very beginner request. I’ve been wanting to use Sonos as a Loopback source for livestreaming music. Sonos comes up as an option for Loopback but Sonos IS NOT a source of music, meaning we can’t play music on Sonos without speakers. I’m wondering if Sonos has ever thought of that (I know it’s a hardware company) to extend use case of its app. I’ve been wanting to stream some direct sound from my Sonos amp + turntable to livestream recordings and this would be the EASIEST (not highest quality but fairly good) and efficient way to do it since I’m all-in on the Sonos system. Without it, I have to use different plugs, audio interfaces, etc. Or...is there a way to already use Sonos as a direct source for music vs say just a remote to control speakers? Thanks.
