Why can’t I reduce the bass when connected via Bluetooth? I don’t have wi-fi at home and am really stuck with terrible sounding bass-heavy sound?
So today Spotify has disappeared from the Sonos app. I am based in the UK. Has been working fine for years. My Sonos speakers appear in Spotify app list but it won’t connect to them. Tried rebooting router, ensured I have a country set in my Sonos profile. I think there’s something else at play here?
New songs I have downloaded aren't showing up in "On This Mobile Device". I have checked and the sounds are also in my music folder on my Android phone. I haven't had to move and audio files before amd it's suddenly not showing my newly downloaded songs. They are downloaded as mp3 files. Need halp!
Purpose of it? Override?
Every once in a while when Sonos starts an alarm set to music, my subwoofers emit a very loud low level rumble for about a second or two. First, scares the crap out of us, but I am more concerned it will damage the speaker. Running latest software. submitted report. Anyone experienced this issue?? thanks

Well, I’ve been experiencing issues with my Arc, Sony Bravia and Directv box and with the help of Support, have narrowed it down to this...I go to TV Setup, unplug the eArc and Directv HDMI cables, then go thru the TV Setup steps to connect Arc to TV and it works. I watch for a while, then turn off the system via my Directv remote. Hours later, when I turn the system back on, Arc is no longer working and has disconnected from TV. What’s going on? This is very frustrating.
I have a Netgear Nighthawk Mesh system that I setup to take the place of the wireless from the Verizon router (they are my internet/tv/land line carrier). Due to some tv problems, I ended up getting a free upgrade to the Verizon equipment and it seems to make the wireless network from my mesh system require everything to reconnect. Our Sonos system is four Play 1 speakers, each running on our WiFi. So when I went to reconnect the Sonos system I had a number of problems with the Sonos app on my phone telling me that at times, it could not find my system or specific speakers, etc. At times it said something about checking the wireless network that my phone was on. After trying a number of restarts for one day I factory reset all the Play 1s and went off to think. The next morning I started as a new system setup (which I had tried before) and then still had some problems finding equipment and getting message asking me to check the network.I then thought about my phone - which is a Pi
Until recently I used a Western Digital NAS Drive (My Cloud Home) to connect my Music Library to my Sonos (S1) system. This has stopped working because WD has withdrawn support for SMB1. Having spoken with the Tech Support teams at both WD and Sonos, the only solution is to ditch my current Sonos system (10 devices) and upgrade to S2 devices in order to access my Music Library. Naturally I don’t want to do this given upheaval and cost.So I have 2 questions:Has anyone found a way round this problem to connect My Cloud Home to a Sonos S1 system? Is there an alternative NAS Drive which will work with Sonos S1 and provides SMB1 support?I appreciate your help and suggestions.
I have my Sonos Arc and sub hooked up to a TCL television. I have the sub connected to the router with an ethernet cable because I was having issues with that previously but that hasn't been a problem anymore. This morning it has started randomly switching to the TV sound and then it'll switch back to the Sonos. I turned off TV autoplay like I saw somewhere but I don't know what to do since it is still having that problem. I turned it off and on I made sure everything is plugged in. What else can I do? This is really annoying me.
Sonos used to play KRCL.ORG with no problems. now when I attempt to play it no longer does. I’m located in Germany and still connect from any other streaming device with no vpn so I know KRCL isn’t geo blocking. Any ideas?
Whenever I play music from my phone, I ALWAYS play to all speakers. It would be convenient for me to pair with one of my Era 100’s and have the app already know I’m going to select all my speakers
Currently I have 110,365 songs available in my library. The way I got around the limit is to mirror the entire folder structure of my music library ,but in this case each album subfolder contains a playlist “.m3u” file that referencesthe absolute path and filename of the original songs. Normally this would be an exhaustive taskthat no sane person would attempt. Luckily, computers can do this kind of work for us.I used a program called MP3Tag.Go to File/Options/Playlist, and check the box "Entries relative from work directory".This is essential; it allows Sonos to find the files no matter where your mirror lies. MP3Tag can generate playlists, and the file name of the playlist can be a formatted string and is defined in the "Filename of Playlist" box. I used for exampleD:\TEMP\M3U\%artist%\%album%.m3uWhen finished, the folder D:\TEMP\M3U will have a folder for each artist and these will have a subfolder for each album, with a SINGLE file, the albumname.m3u file which Sonos will index a
Hi we got New internet how do we get sones on the New internet? regards linda
I can't get SVC to play my Apple Music playlists (on a Sonos Roam). I've tried to rename them to simpler names and tried all types of ways of phrasing, it always fails or gets confused. Sometimes it will load my "station" but never the playlist.I tried to add the playlist to My Sonos playlist section and I similarly can't get it to work. Is there a reliable way to get this to work or is playlist support broken for Apple Music using SVC?
Have seen similar cries for help but the solutions suggested pointed to setting changes I either dont have (or cannot find!) LG OLED 55C 14LB Connected to SKY Stream Puck SONOS BEAM GEN 2 connected to TV via HDMI port 2 (eARC) but output on Netflix, Prime and Apple TV+ although showing as Dolby Atmos on TV are showing as Stereo PCM on Sonos AppLike others the sound when playing music through the Beam shows as being in Atmos and is greatWhen I disconnect the Beam Dolby Atmos shows as enabled in TV settings but when I connect the Sonos supplied HDMI lead the Advanced Settings on the TV are “greyed out”. Had 2 completely unsuccessful calls to LG support and after 90 minutes Sonos support gave upHelp required please
I have two play fives one sub woofer and one play one. I am moving to Portugal. Please tell me if any necessary adapters will be needed or can I just plug and play which I really am praying for.
I have a Sony Bravia, Arc and Directv. Every time I start up the system, the Arc shows its screensaver on the screen through eHDMI. By messing with the inputs, i eventually find the Directv picture, but I’m never sure how I got there. What am I doing wrong? Help
OK, I am about to pull my hair out and bin this SONOS. . but before I do this, can someone please help me. I have 4 Play 1 Originals. ( admittedly dated now but they are only speakers) and have just bought a SONOS beam two as the Play 5 does not have an optical cable, ugh! and there is an issue. Anyways, I digress, can anyone please help me set up the SONOS BEAM GEN 2 with my PLAY 1 gen 1 please, it says there is an option for surround sound but the APP 2 cannot see them speakers.. This system is becoming way over complicated to be honest, was great when they started but now, they are getting on the band wagon.. and stuff not compatible.
Why is the Sonos update process such a mess? EVERY time the update note comes on, which is WAY too frequently, I know I’m in for a headache. I see no reason on Earth for it to be such a never ending disaster. This time it doesn’t even get past the “update starting” phase where it just kept circling with no end. I’m running Windows 11 latest update and also Windows 10 latest update. Problem is identical on both computers.
Hello how much electric power do I need to anticipate, how many ampere is it required to make it work ? thanks
Hi. My iPod touch used to play through my 5 gen 2 very loud. In the last few years I cannot get the volumes as high as I used to. Playing music through my iPhone - which I DON’T want to do is much louder. I have tried everything to get the high volumes of the good old days back on my iPod touch through my 5 Generation 2 - no success. Please help. Thank you!
I have turntable plugged into a sonos 5 via rca. Works fine. Buy another 5. Set up a stereo pair. Line in only plays out of one speaker. Will sy both if grouped but not in stereo pair. Experimenting while playing and it will play out of the 1 not plugged in but only ever recognises 1 speaker as connected. What do I do next?
I replaced my old Apple TV HD with a newer Apple TV 4K yesterday and have great video but lost the audio. After taking down the wall mounted TV I noticed that the optical output from my TV was not hooked up to the optical input in my Sonos Playbar. So my question is, how did I get audio from my old ATV HD to my Playbar without the optical connection? The only way it could occur is through the ethernet connection (my entire Sonos household system is wired via ethernet rather than Wi-Fi).The reason I disconnected the digital optical input from my old ATV to my Playbar is because the optical output from my Sony TV is damaged - the connection is loose. So I would like to again get audio from my new ATV 4K to my Playbar via ethernet again, but I cannot figure out how to do that. All of the documentation I can find about hooking up my Sonos Playbar (it is the older model not the newer one - I purchased it in 2016 or 2017) directs me to hook it up to the TV via an optical cable.Any suggestion
Hey guys, I just connect my vynil système to sonos amp but can’t hear any sound with My Play3. Any Help? Both are well synchronise from Sonos S2 app. Thx
