My default music service is Amazon Music and when I ask the Sonos voice assistant to play or shuffle a playlist with 200+ songs and then look at the queue in the app, there are only 100 songs in queue. If I start the playlist through the Sonos app and check the queue I see the full list (200+ songs). Is there some setting I am missing?
Hi, Everybody. I’ve been driving myself crazy trying to troubleshoot an issue with a Beam (Gen2) -based home theater set up (Beam Gen 2, Sub (Gen3), and two Era 100s). The issue happens whenever the source device, in this case both a latest-gen Apple TV and a Nintendo Switch, outputs audio in MultiChannel PCM 5.1. The audio drops out for about two seconds EXACTLY every one minute. Audio output in other formats, including Dolby ATMOS, plays back perfectly. My television is a new LG G3. All devices are on the latest available firmware/software updates as of today (23 June, 2023). After spending weeks trying every possible solution (HDMI cable replacements, network configurations, wired/unwired setups, different TV and device settings, etc), I had a call with SONOS Tier 2 support today where I was told very confidently that this is a known-issue with the LG TV firmware and that I should contact LG directly. I asked if SONOS was in contact with LG at all to attempt to remedy this issue on
I’m setting my new Sonos speakers including a ARC. Prior to these I had a sonos system in our living room with a PlayBar. So I just started with the Arc and I see no fiber connection for the Arc. Only HDMI to Ethernet. My issue is that I stream my TV via Hulu and normally set my TV Audio to the Fiber out. I don’t use any HDMI connections on my TV.How will my TV see the Arc and direct the sound to it and all the other speakers I am setting up?TIA...
SONOS PLAYBAR OPTICAL TO HDMI Hi, i’ve tried researching and can’t seem to find my answer. i have a playbar and the optical pin on the tv has broken. Does the hdmi / optical converter cable work? i can’t get it to. Any other options ?
Just setup a LS12000 to replace my tv and I cant seem to get sound from sonos beam connected to this projector’s EARC hdmi port. I doubt its the cable because Im using a certified hdmi 2.1 fiberoptic cable to connect the beam to the projector. I thought EARC port would allow this to be pretty much plug and play? Do I need an hdmi splitter or something like HDFURY Arcana to make it work?
HelloWe have recently moved house to one with a Sonos system installed throughout. We have 5 speakers in the living room2 in the kitchen/diner.1 in the bathroom and a zp100 under the stairs which they are wired into We have reset the system but can only pick up one set of speakers (kitchen) which we are able to play music through, though we can pick up static from living room so they appear to be on. I'm sure it's something quite simple but I've run out of things to try, can anyone talk me through what I need to do to find these other 2 rooms on my app? Thanks
We have 2 pairs of sonos 1 speakers that were purchased in the last year - 1 pair is Sonos SL and other is Sonos 1. We are looking to add either an Era 300 or sonos play 5 with 2 goals:New speaker needs to direct connect to a turntable with a preamp new speaker needs to connect to the 4 sonos 1 speakers we already have to play turntable and any other music through wi-fi (since the they are not bluetooth capable)thank you
My Play5:1 Gen1 speaker no longer works, no power supply. Also, does anyone know how to dismantle this speaker?
How to connect my zoneplayer s5 wia any application?Any help?Connecting via RJ45? Would appreciate any help. BrJeppis
I have recently moved to a new place and when I set up a Stereo Pair on a new WIFI, it only plays from one speaker. I can sometimes get it to work from the SONOS app only, playing Spotifz but if I try to play directly out of Spotify one speaker drops and then I have to try repeatedly to have both working together, before one eventually drops. I have tried restarting and resetting the speakers, but nothing seems to work.
I switched my internet from frontier to Verizon home internet. I can only connect play 3 to the new service. Move and Roam cannot connect. It’s frustrating. I was on the Sonos tech support for over 1 hour and they suggested I ask Verizon to create a second WiFi but Verizon had no clue about that fix. I may go back to my old provider rather than buy other speakers.
I’ve a Panasonic tv - using the TVs native apps I ca get 5.1 with my setup. However when using the diagnostics on the firestick I can’t seem to get 5.1. Any ideas how to resolve this?
Hi there Sonos guys!I’ve choosen you as harware suppliers. I’ve got ten of your devices arround my apartment because they sound great and are S.F. FRIENDLY.The point is that, when I use your app, and find a song I want to add to my playlists in Spotify, it’s f* ridicolous complicated to do it.Why don’t you just ley it be, and asume you’re the best in hardware, and don’t annoy your customers who like Spotify?Best regards,Antonio, from Bilbao
I request that you add Qobuz as a supported service please many thanks in advance 😊
I have two Sonos One and a Sonos Beam. Before when all three units were separate, I could turn on the microphone function on any one of them, but ever since I attempted to setup surround sound, I’ve lost microphone function on all three units. I’ve since disconnected them, but still can’t get the microphone to work. I’ve searched the community and only found solutions to Alexa. Please help. Thanks!

I have a recurring issue with my S1 appI have a gen 1 Play5 in my gym; it is the only Sonos product in there. The remainder of my Sonos products are S2Almost all the time now, when I open my S1 app on the phone, it doesn’t connect, I get the message at the top saying “Sonos found let’s connect”As soon as I do this it connects to the S2 group and I have to reset the app.If I try and connect to an existing network, all it does is connect to the S2 “network” and I go round in cirlces resetting and trying to connect again.Eventually after random attempts, when “connecting to an existing network” I get the prompt to hit the two buttons on the device. It then connects correctlyWhat is odd is that I can start the device playing without the app and that is fineI have had various successes (although these may just be random), but not yet found a surefire way to resolve itToggling wifi on and off (before and during the set up phase) Turning location services off waiting! (this seems to work)Th
Hi,Having spent time (a lot !) on both ‘chat’ and Remote access i am still unable to add my music library ? It started off as “error 1002” and since my last Remote Access use, is now “computer is not responding” although i am sat using it, and made sure that the external drive is awake ?? so far I have: toured my new Windows 11 PC, with the help of remote access, set up the various firewall options as outlined here. Checked the ports 445 & 3445 (they’re ‘listening’). Set up a music folder on the desktop, which did not work. Reset my Sonos System. All to no avail. The nice person on remote access was also at a loss, although when using the same service last year on my old PC, Remote Access sorted the issue very swiftly. Cannot add the service via any of the tablets or phones, so I’m really stuck.! I have read nearly every article or reply on here, and i am no further forward. ANY help would be gratefully accepted. or…. the system will end up in a skip somewhere :-).Thanks in advance
Short version:Currently, it appears that when two Era 300 speakers are in a stereo pair, using the line-in for one of the speakers causes that speaker to play audio, while the other remains silent, even though the stereo pair operates as expected with other sources. Additional background:A few days ago I was helping a fellow Sonos owner with a setup she was trying to achieve. She has two Era 300s and a Sub, which she planned to use as a 2.1 unit. Her intended audio source was a third-party mixing board connected to the line-in of one of the Eras. In this setup, the Era physically receiving the line-in signal played audio as expected, while the other Era in the stereo pair remained silent. This was true even when the Sub was dropped from the equation. When testing other “regular” sources such as Spotify through the Sonos app, the 2.0 or 2.1 setup performed exactly as expected. All firmware was current as of 12/26.The workaround we found was to keep the Era 300s independent, pair the Sub
I replaced my beam 1 with a beam 2 gen, now my sub hardly puts out any bass
Honestly just disappointed with Sonos overall lately. Used to be great audio and an easy system to interface with Spotify. Now it just seems like constant disconnects, and delayed pickups, and Sonos wants to blame the router or Spotify, but it’s them. The router is fine after numerous reboots and diagnostics, all other WiFi devices in the home are fine. Doesn’t make sense and Sonos is the outlier.
How do I connect Ray to my tv which doesn’t have an optical audio cable port
I have the Victrola Stream Carbon, and love it...but there is one frustration. I have it set to autoplay in the kitchen, where I listen to it 90% of the time. However, sometimes I want to only listen to it in the office without playing it in the kitchen. I can group the office with the kitchen, and it works fine, but if I go back in and remove the kitchen so that it would only play in the office, it loses the connection to the Victrola and stops playing.I know I can go into the Victrola app and use QuickPlay to send it to the office, but I would like a way to do this without having to go into an otherwise obscure app that has no other use….It would be nice to be able to select the Victrola as a music source directly in the Sonos app. Is there a way to list it as a music source?
Hi there I recently purchased a Sonos Roam cause it falsely advertises it works on bluetooth. Of course that is only true you have access to Wifi to set it up. Mightily PIssed OFF as I'd bought it for ROAMing around the world. anyone been able to set up a Roam without access to a wifi network? any hacks? Is it just a waste of money
Hi Play:5, manufacturing date sometime around 2009, is completely dead. No light in LED. Found several cases of this online, but no solutions. Does anyone have any knowledge about the problem, og better yet, schematics.. I mainly suspect problem in switch mode power supply. Have only done very basic measuring, but I find 220VAC on primary side, no power on secondary side. I think about ordering a mosfet, and/or a diode I suspect, but if I had schematics I could do some more pinpointing..
