+24You don’t. Return it and get a Beam, assuming your TV has HDMI-ARC (or eARC).
TVs in the USA legally have to have optical out, so I assume this was one of the decisions (apart from cost) behind the Ray connectivity decision.

This wont work for apps that run on the TV though. The OP hasn’t listed the TV type, or the source device, so there’s a lot of speculation for now.
