I wear hearing aids. I have trouble with the sound coming from the 2 smaller speakers as it is the background noise, and the voices are coming out of the sound bar. Is there a way to fix that so the voices come out of the little speakers as well? or reverse it?
My TV and Sonos play bar have been working fine for well over 12 months. Then last night, my TV turned itself off and every time I turned it back on by the remote. It turned itself off again after unplugging both sound bar and TV from the wall and waiting a short while plugging them back in and I’ve even reset the play bar. Both work fine independently but the play bar will not play. What’s on TV today I have bought a new optical audio cable and I’ve plugged that in and it is no better I have the television speakers turned off and have tried to reset the remote with the sound bar which I’ve done and again seems to work fine but the sound bar still does not play what’s on the TV. Can anybody help please
Hi I’ve a connect amp wired to a stereo speaker in a room. The audio from vocals has gone very low but the music is fine. I can hear audio if I switch the settings to extreme left or right but then sacrifice music. This worked fine until yesterday. Any ideas? Thanks. I’m
I updated my first generation eero router to the Erro Pro 6e. Now, I can’t connect my Sonos system to the new network. I’ve deleted the network from the latest Sonos app many times. Invariably I get the error that there is a problem connecting my device to the network.
Not sure when it started exactly but I get this chirping/squeaking sound on all my Sonos speakers (Combination of S1’s and one S5 and a playpar.). I’m on S1 and do not intend to upgrade in case that should be the solution to this problem. Submitted Diagnostic Information here: Confirmation number is: 1740163293.
I am thinking of getting myself a Sonos Arc along with Sub G3 and an Amp. For surround sound, I already have speaker cables running in my wall and I am thinking of getting a pair of Dali Oberon on wall speakers (passive). I have the following questions:Would it be possible for me to connect these speakers to the Amp? The specs for the speakers mention that they have a 6 Ohms impedance and recommended amplifier power is 25-100 Watts. Considering that the Amp outputs 125 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms, would it be ok to connect the speakers to the Amp? Given that the passive speakers can be connected to the Amp (or in case they cannot another pair of passive speakers can do the job), I want to have the following scenarios for listening: When watching TV, or streaming music from network or other app, I want to have a 7.1.4 system, i.e. the Arc, Sub and the two passive speakers as surrounds. When connecting my record player to the line-in of the Amp I want to have only the two passive speake
Just got my Ray, and hooked it up to a fairly modern Samsung TV via optical connection (Model Number : UN50J6200AFXZA ). However, I cannot configure the Samsung RF remote to use the volume buttons to control the Ray. I followed the guidance via the mobile app to add the Ray as a Home Theater device etc.The guidance says to “go back to the Universal Remote setup menu and select one of the other input devices you’ve added, like a cable box or Blu-ray player. Select the other input devices and choose Use with Home Theater. Do this for all of your active inputs.”Are there any Samsung owners out here with the same issue
Malgré 3h30 passées avec le service technique, era100 ne se connecte pas au wi-fi Moderator edit:Google Translate- Despite 3.5 hours spent with the technical service, era100 does not connect to Wi-Fi
I have just bought a Beam gen 2 and set it up. The setup process seemed to work fine but didn’t show in system. I have unplugged it and plugged back in as suggested by the setup wizard but still not there. I have left it all plugged in for 15 mins and still nothing. I have done factory reset 5 times now including connecting it via Ethernet. I have a Move on my system that connects perfectly (sound is awful on Bluetooth but that’s another story) so it’s not a problem with my network. Network is Vodafone super fast fibre router no separate Wi-Fi extenders and router is 12 feet away in the same room. Faulty Beam perhaps?
I’ve got a Beam Gen 2. I’m watching Star Trek TNG on Paramount+ on Roku and I’m noticing what appears to be the oddest behavior. It’s so odd part of me wonders if it’s in my head. Anytime a new scene occurs that begins with dialog, the dialog is so quiet at first but then increases to a proper volume a few seconds later. It’s especially noticeable when the previous scene ends with some kind of loud noise. Has anyone else noticed this? Or am I just crazy? Or maybe both?
I will never buy another Sonos product. I live in Panama, hence, I need to use a VPN for my Spotify. It is becoming more and more difficult to make this Sonos work. (I use NordVPN and I placed Sonos in the split tunneling)
I received two Sonos One SL speakers last Christmas and after multiple tries gave up on trying to figure out how to set them up. Here again a year later I thought I would give it a shot and still no luck. A couple Issues: One speaker will connect, the other one will not connect for anything. I have unplugged multiple times. The multiple Sonos apps are extremely confusing. I really just want to connect my phone to the speakers and play my music from Pandora and Spotify. Is it possible to play music on the speakers via Pandora or Spotify? Trying to make use of what sound to be quality speakers and prevent these speakers from continuing to be dust collectors another year. Sitting on hold now, but any other advice in case this call doesn’t work? Thanks!
I am read a few contradictory answers to this so just wanted to double check here. I have just bought a set of Era 300s to replace the Ones that I was using as surrounds with my Arc and Sub. They are connected to WiFi and everything is working so far. I have read that connecting then via Ethernet will improve performance so was thinking about whether it would be worth it. And here’s where is gets confusing! I understand that the Era’s don’t have SonosNet but I’ve read that they still connect to the Arc via a private WiFi connection directly with the Arc in the same way that previous surrounds did. Is that true? Or do they now just go via the home WiFi network? I could understand that Ethernet might be better in the second scenario but if it connects directly to the Arc via WiFi then there would be no point in Ethernet. So, if I use the Ethernet adapter on the surrounds will the WiFi on the Eras be deactivated and communication with the Arc be done via Ethernet. Or will the communic
I'm having a lot of problems adding services to my Sonos system. Plex, Soundcloud, tune in, Mixcloud, pocketcasts and probably more. I'll get to the place where I'm taken to the website to authorize the service. In each case, I'll login and then the webpage tells me I've been authorized and connected to sonos. I then go back to the Sonos app and it says “Connection Error. There was a problem adding the Mixcloud account. A connection to Mixcloud could not be made.”With Soundcloud I have to enter in a code which the website tells me is ok. I think Plex requires a higher subscription so that's probably why it didn't work. The others should connect, I successfully use them on a different Sonos 1 system (which is at a different home and a different network and the old S1 app). I was able to add the CBC music service.
anyone have issues with getting power to their T1? I just opened the box, followed the set up instructions, but when I plug in the adapter nothing happens… nothing ‘turns on’

I recently bought a Sony pslx310bt and I’m having the same unfortunate issues as everyone else getting them to pair via Bluetooth. The option I’m seeing is a hard connection via line in. I have a 3.5mm to usb-c adapter but the connection in the back of the turntable is male rca. How do I make the connection from that to the 3.5m? A female rca to 3.5mm? Does such a thing exist? I haven’t had any luck finding one locally. This is a Christmas gift so trying to figure this all out asap. local Best Buy has a port but was trying to avoid the cost if possible.
I keep my music library on my Windows 11 PC, but most of the speakers are in other rooms, and are controlled via the app on an IPhone or IPad. At present, I can only access the music library when the Sonos app is running on the PC. I suspect this is because I set up the Library on the PC, and the pathnames appear on the iPhone or Ipad in shortened form, e.g. as //PCNAME/Piano and Chamber, whereas the name on the PC itself is C:/Users/Myname/Music/Sonos folders/Piano and Chamber. I have tried to set up the music library using a longer pathname on the Ipad, but get the message “Computer is not responding”.I have used Sonos in both wired and wireless form, but it has no effect on the problem. The configuration of my house means that I need to extend the Wifi, and in the past I have tried the patience of kindly Sonos experts with the problems caused by various Wifi extenders. However, I now have a TP-Link Mesh system, which should be less problematic.I may be wrong about the cause of the p
Bonjourdepuis un moment existe l’application classique de Apple je m’étonne de ne pas la voir proposer dans la listes des services ?????ca serait bcp plus agréable de la voir dans l’application sonos ???
I have two SONOS systems. I would like to set them up to operate independently of each other. How do I do that?
Hi, changing TVs and wife wants a “cleaner” look so need to swap sound bar for in-wall speakers. Background setup: Current living room is a Sonos Beam and Sub with two in-wall speakers powered by an AMP (so 3.1 setup). Want to get: ARC setup that replaces the Sonos Beam with an in-wall non-powered speaker. To do this I think I need: Another Sonos Amp that’s hard wired via HDMI to the TV via ARC or eARC and have that AMP run the center speaker alone. Or:Get a 3rd party receiver and connect the center and in wall left and right speakers and get a Sonos Port to “tie” in Sonos and connect the sub. Main goal is really simplicity. Using TVs Samsung remote I want the 3.1 to just automatically work. Am I thinking through this right and any suggestions on which is better and plus and minuses?
Any help with getting the ideal setup for my apartment tv room, dining room and living room? I have my planned setup below but I am open to any recommendations and advice.
I’ll start by saying I DON’T use apple HomeKit with my Sonos and they aren’t even registered with the home app. I have a play 5 that always reverts to kitchen. I’ve removed it, factory reset, reinstalled and named living room. 24 hours later and it says kitchen again. I have a move that does the same thing except it always goes to dining room. sonos has no clue how to fix it. help!!!
How do the sonos speakers work with sonos. I am ised ro have foogke home speakers but want something better
Hi all!I bought a TP Link (AX21) Wireless Router. Initially, I could not find ANY of my speakers and every time it said it could not connect to the SONOS network when I tried to transfer over. Frustrated, I let it be overnight. This morning, I went to play music and saw that my PLAY 5 (brand new) had suddenly connected. I have no idea when that happened because last I saw, NOTHING had connected prior to me leaving it alone. I have factory reset my speakers, as this website told me to do, however I still cannot connect to my other, slight older, Play 5’s nor any of my Play 1’s or Move. When it comes to settings inside the route, I know how to get into the router to make changes, however, I really don’t know what any of it means. I’m hoping you smarties either know what I need to do with settings OR you’ve been through this issue and can walk me through fixing it. Thanks, Teddy
