Controllers and Music services

Every now and then, SONOS app Sveriges Radio (P4) plays content with several hours delay. It can also start replaying segments from hours ago. Or loop. If I stop, and hit play again, it normally starts broadcasting in real time. Then, after a couple if days, or weeks even it happens again.Anyone else experienced this? Any clue why this happens? 

Yet again I re-installed My Music onto Sonos. It lasted two days and has vanished yet again. Also, although the app shows the Roam is playing, there is no sound and the app can't detect the Roam to attach it to another room.CEO incompetence is often cited as responsible for this car-crash of an app. Perhaps alternatively, it is their desire to actually drive people crazy with this deliberately appalling pile of junk.

I’m trying to connect my Apple Music account to my Era 300 stereo speakers, and all I’m getting is a spooling circle when Authorising Apple Music account.  I’ve been trying for days, I have an iphone 14pro, all software on my Sonos app and phone is up to date.  My husband connect his account fine, and I connected mine on initial install, but had to do a factory reset on the speakers to set up as stereo and now all I’m getting is the wheel of doom.Can anyone help because it’s really frustrating. 

My Sonos network is spontaneously playing music from Spotify. This happens at random times and on random speakers. For example this morning it was playing on all speakers:(clicking on a room indicates the Spotify user is “Guest”). The strange thing is no one in our house has a Spotify account or even the Spotify app on any device. The Sonos network does not have Spotify setup as a service. The only way I can see this might happen is if someone were to join the WiFi network and play music from Spotify directly to my Sonos devices.Our Sonos network is made up entirely of old gear connected by WiFi and we’re using the S1 app.This happened multiple times this week. It happened previously a while ago (many months).Other than someone joining the network and playing directly I can only make wild guesses that point the finger at Sonos’ internal systems?Any ideas on how to figure out what’s going on? Trying to avoid rebuilding my Sonos network; especially if this is something Sonos is intereste

I had an old but brand new Sonos Connect  and I’m trying to add it to my system. It won’t upgrade the software/it gets error 803. What should I do?

I had my music library on a Naim music server but that collapsed. I rescued the music on a USB drive, but now I need a NAS through which I can have Sonos access the music on the USB drive. Which NAS is easiest to configure for this purpose?

I'm going to ignore the fact that as I write this, my music is happily playing from Spotify regardless of the fact that the Sonos app shows "No Content" for that group. WOW. Broken in so many ways.  Let's instead focus on the fact that I have a grouped set that no longer has an available volume slider for one of the speakers in the group. How do I control the balance between the two with no volume slider?!?!  

I have been using my Sonos system with my iPhone for a few years and it was very easy to send content via Airplay or through Home.app to my Sonos Speaker. But I recently switched to Android and now the only way to play content is via the Sonos app.How do I “cast” audio that’s playing from my Android phone to the Sonos system?

I have a system upstairs and another downstairs both connected to the same WiFi.new app now has arbitrarily separated the two systems and I must switch from one to the other, and can no longer have the same music playing everywhere.The mind boggles as SONOS in a dev team hole, keeps digging.I suspect there is no way out of yet another unasked for “improvement?”  Is there a way that someone knows, a workaround perhaps where I can control both from one source?  Prior to this, they were identified easily by how I named them.  Absolutely NO NEED whatsoever for this further bastardization of their app.  I see countless complaints but no response from SONOS.  Instead they ask their users to make their excuses.Ah….for the days of a simple amp with speakers.  

Happens randomly, I can be using the app, adding music, changing things and the suddenly I try to access the queue and I get the message 'Unable to access the queue.  Try again'. Doesn't matter what I do, unload app, restart mobile. It will not allow me to access the queue. I thought that after all the issues, this being one of the main parts of the app you need it would have been sorted.

Open Sonos app on my Android Phone Navigate to and choose Music Library source Select Songs from the list of options Press Play or Shuffle Endless loading circle appears and nothing happens for at least 7 minutes, after which I stopped wasting my time waiting.Music is on my NAS, i can easily access and play specific songs, or select and play genres or my own playlists through the app.What gives? This wasn't an issue in the past. I understand the development team is attempting to fix this app but I didnt expect this functioanlity to be broken. Depuis que je suis passé à la nouvelle application Sonos j’ai des problèmes de stabilité. J’utilise principalement Tidal comme source de musique ou ma bibliothèque personnelle. J’utilise mon Iphone 13 ou mon Ipad Air 2024 (model A2902) pour ouvrir l’application sonos OS S2. Mon système est à jour, c’est la version 80.14.07. L’application est instable, elle s’arrête et m’indique qu’il n’y a aucun produit trouvé, puis indique d’aller dans les paramètres système, puis après le message l’application fonctionne correctement jusqu’à ce que le problème recommence. Un autre problème que j’ai à l’occasion, c’est que la musique saute à la pièce suivante sans que je l’ai demandé. Bon, tout ça pour vous dire que je n’avais jamais de problème avec l’ancienne version de Sonos. Je ne vois pas les améliorations qui ont été apportées avec cette nouvelle version. J’utilise un Connect Gen2 (1510) octobre 2015, je l’utilise comme streamer, il est connecter à mon DAC. Moderator Edit - Translation by Google

When I play music from my Brennan B3 through my Sonos Roam SL speaker the name of the individual song isn’t shown. Can this be done ?

EQ settings of Beam2 (I don’t know if other ht devices also are affected) show a balance slider, but it has no effect. …latest android app and firmware…

My NAS music library shows properly on the latest iphone, android and Windows apps.However, when adding surround speakers (2 Sonos one) to my playbase+sub setup, the library stops showing up in the iphone and android apps. Removing the surround speakers will make them show up again, so it’s 100% replicable.This didn’t happen with the former apps.The Windows app keeps on showing the libray and working properly all the time.Haven’t seen it reported, so I thought it would be interesting to share

Hi Sonos Team, I recently purchased a Sonos HD Radio subscription and am impressed with the audio quality and it’s fantastic! However, I’ve noticed that the service announces the station name in between songs. While I understand the intent, this feature can feel a bit disruptive in certain settings, like when hosting guests or a party. Switching to Spotify avoids this, but it does make me question the value of maintaining both subscriptions. Is there a way to disable these announcements for a more seamless listening experience? Thank you for your time and support!

Anyone else noticed how slow and unresponsive the App has become today Dec 23rd 2024?   Much worse than the usual sluggish performance we have become used to.android App Randomly losing connection with the playersMore than 20 seconds to pick up what’s playing  and before anyone jumps in ,  no its not my network , these are ethernet connected devices and I have a strong Internet service 70mb/s with no competing web traffic.   If prior years problems are anything to go by I am not looking forward to entertaining guests on the 25th as new users plug in their sonos gifts for the first time and try to register. Please Sonos ditch this Cloud based App solution and give us back direct control of our own equipment. 

I know this has come up before but having followed all the suggestions and apparent "solutions" I'm still stuck with this issue. And I am going to give a far more detailed breakdown of what I've tried/what I am able to get to until I hit a wall and I definitely haven't seen any of this info elsewhere (I did look all over, both here & with Amazon)I have not been able to properly link my Amazon Music Unlimited subscription - I can't manage the library, I can't search/add to library/like or dislike etc, can't control playlists. It does show me my library and I can keep it playing (because in the backend, somewhere, it must show I have a subscription) but basically it's linking a "Prime Music" free or stripped-down version because it's linking to an American Amazon.com domain, and I DO have an Amazon.com account (I was on there back before they even had a UK domain to speak of) and I am also an Amazon Prime member in the UK. I use Pocket Casts as a mobile app and on Sonos. On the App I get UK relevant Ads, but on SONOS I get US relevant (UK irrelevant) Ads. Is there any way to switch that? Can't really be doing it for the advertisers!

Ever since you enjoyed prematurely releasing your piece of crap app in may. I ve had speakers dropping off, cant separate speakers from tv, connection issues. Speakers disappearing from system cant find system on and on and on. The foreign techs are hard to understand. I get got a major investment in this garbage.16 total speakers. Have made dozens off call to your help line . They know your products suck and they may fix an issue but it always comes vack . Wish i could start over with something else. Too late i m stuck. You shouldn’t have released the app till it was ready. Will never buy another product from sonos

I recently rebooted my system and changed to a different WiFi.  now i can not downloaded the Calm App.  it does not take me to my calm account to authorize. instead it takes my to the calm site and says “sign up successful “without asking for my account or password.  then when i go back to the app it says no content items available.  any suggestions?

I recall I used to be able to play my local (NAS server) music files when the internet was down.However, lately, I’ve discovered that I can’t even get the app to load win order to select my local NAS server.  As my internet service has become less reliable, this has become more important.(I did not see this exact issue brought up on this forum… which seems odd)Not sure what I’m doing wrong.  I have no issues playing my NAS files when there is internet connectivity.
