Can anyone help me to answer my questions?1.  I subscribe to Amazon music unlimited and can access numerous community created playlists which I can cast to Sonos however, when I use the search function within Sonos (Amazon is the preferred service) using an Amazon playlist title, no results are returned.2.  When I cast to Sonos from the Amazon music app, do I receive the same audio quality as if I was streaming directly through Sonos? Thanks  

Hi, I used to use my Sonos all the time and it all made sense.    If I have a heap of music downloaded onto my iPhone in Apple Music how do I play it on my Sonos these days?Any help would be appreciated.It’s not an advanced setup, but starting a topic is hard enough.  Here’s some feedback: this site used to be easy to use! T  

I have a problem which seems to have come out of nowhere - the Sonos App won’t let me play music (from Spotify), only Alexa. When I click on “Play” the tab just keeps circling and the room I’m trying to play it in shows “no content” (screenshot attached)Is there something simple I need to do to rectify the problem? 

Since SONOS really messed up with the new APP and since they are supposedly working on it all the time to improve it - I have a strong suggestion, great idea and question for SONOS. Why don’t you add volume control from an iPhone volume buttons back into the SONOS APP???? Just like in the old SONOS APP that worked fine, and in the award winning Spotify APP & Service - you should let users control the volume of their SONOS system by using the volume controls on the mobile device (i.e. iPhone). That is so much easier that trying to slide the slider, etc! In fact, I more often use the Spotify APP to play my music than the SONOS APP because of this feature.Since there are so many features and setup options in the APP - you should allow the user to chose if they want to control volume by iPhone volume buttons or not!You’re welcome of the great idea - please email when you add the feature!! Can’t wait!!

Why is this app still so terrible?Unbelievable, get your act together Sonos, the company looks like an absolute joke. I turn on my Bose equipment and it works, never an issue. I regret the day I purchased any Sonos equipment.  The only devices not appearing on my network are Sonos. When the app does miraculously find them it is unable to fix the issue and I get no sound. Has it been a full year of continuing errors and terrible management? Not only does the app suck, this company sucks. 

Hi,I bought a Sonos Era 100, but the equalizer is missing in the settings. Under settings, my room there is under "Sound" True Play but no equalizer as described on the support page. The app is freshly installed, the Era 100 brand new. Does anyone have any ideas? Is the support article perhaps wrong and the equalizer is probably to be found elsewhere?

I have a new Sonos / Era 100 system, I’m using YouTube Music as one of my subscribed sources. I also have an Amazon Music account however I cannot find Amazon anywhere in the list of providers to add. I’m in Australia and as far as I can tell, should have access to it?

After I reset Sonos App, to open the App requires Visual ID on my iPhone.  How do I do that? 

I created playlists at my cottage on Sonos 1, but the same are not found at the house, using same account and same iPad. Why ?Where are the playlist stored ? I have only one account.The Sonos players remain in one place.Some have suggested to create one system with all Sonos, including carry one unit at the second house to create this common system, but I dont understand the reason.    

Given the current inability to manipulate Sonos playlists, I looked into importing playlists. I created some with windows media player. My issue is that there seems to be a hard limit of 100 songs.  Woefully inadequate and pitiful scaling for any modern system. For any playlist larger than 100 songs, trying to play the list has it endlessly clone itself in the queue until the queue is 50000 entries or so. Same 100 song listings cloned 500 times.At least when the queue has not been exceeded and you try to add to the queue such that it goes over 100 songs you get an error. so this looks like just really bad code.  When will this trivial limit be raised and when will the system not melt down when the limit is exceeded?

Following an overnight update to MacOS 15.3 my Sonos Controller is unable to access the network. Message of check your firewall settings. So I have:In Firewall settings, ensured (and toggled off then on) Sonos.app allowing incoming connections is on; Ensured Sonos.app is allowed to access Local Network (again toggled off/on); Deleted and downloaded up-to-date version of Sonos.app; Rebooted Mac Reset Sonos.app which then can’t find products during set-up.Note: Sonos.app on Iphone and iPad are working normally.Any further suggestions?

Why did my Arcam avr10 and the Axium speaker control stop working with the sonos port after I installed a new Orbi wifi ?

After setting up the playbar and 2x Sonos one as stereo pair. I am happy with the sound. Also I have an Sonos SL elsewhere in the home. But after like a few days and using the app for volume and control. Randomly the speakers one by one or sometimes even totally are out of the list. Sometimes they pop in again, sometimes I can reconnect them through the app but button not always available. Sometimes I have to reinstall the whole speakers. Connection from WiFi looks very stable for all other devices.  Any ideas why they would go out of connectivity? Or what can I do towards the system?

Should I buy the Beam 2 at the moment or is the new app still bug ridden?

I have recently upgraded to Sequoia 15.3 on my iMac and as usual after every update my Sonos system stops workingThis time, my apple music library is not found - all views say ‘No Selections are available’I have checked the usual issues around file and media sharing settings but these look ok, so tried removing the assigned library and re-adding as the ‘found music folder’ and the when this did not work i tried adding the ‘manual menu path’ from my user path. I also tried uninstalling and re-installing the S1 app but nothing.Anyone else had this issue?

Since the bungled software release I have had loads of issues with Sonos, alongside many others, but have worked around and fixed things as possible but some issues remain. I just spent 1 ½ hrs talking to Sonos without getting anywhere.Everything works correctly in iTunes, listing, playing and searching.However, when I select ‘Albums’ in Sonos on my Mac laptop or on iPhone, I see a repeated list of the Album title, followed by each and every track. SO a 20 track album is listed 20 times under albums and you cannot play the entire album! If I select one of them I can only play a single track - has anyone experienced this? I also can no longer ‘see’ playlists that are on iTunes either. Needless to say all was fine before the App change last year. Can anyone advise please?   

Is there any update on when this will be fixed?  It is possible to play albums on other streaming platforms eg Tidal. It doesn’t make any sense that IDAGIO has been excluded.  Surely this is not a difficult problem to solve.

This error is being generated repeatedly.  Every once in a while it works and indexes my library.  Eventually, the error pops up again and the entry is removed from my Sonos app.  My platform is a Macbook Pro M4 with 128GB of RAM and 8TB of disk.  There is no resource issue.    The networking is solid, with a Netgear Orbi that is within 10 to 15 feet of each speaker.  I’m the only user on the network; there’s no other heavy activity.The SMB share that MacOS provides is accessible (hence the app sometimes works).  The permissions are correct.How can I fix this?  I literally don’t use the Sonos app to play music anymore because this doesn’t work more than half the time.  

Hi, I have Sonos SL one speaker and downloaded the Sonos windows desktop app but not getting an option to setup new system as only getting pop up with two options. Connect to existing system  Learn how to setup which takes me to online sonos website to download app again.  

I have 12 sonos speakers i have rebalance the volume on each seaker everytime i put on music. I dont understand why Sonos cant provide a small selection of presets for people that spent a fair amount moeny on their products??????

It’s 2025, I’m in my 60’s. Can you help with today’s technology? I used Rhapsody over a decade ago but what is the way to make a playlist these days. Subscription okay. Not having luck with Spotify.  My system is old but sounds fantastic...still have operating controller (about the size of a card deck). I really want to make playlists.

Hi, I have only just started using Sonos / YouTube music however have come across a difference in functionality between Android and iOS devices. In the Sonos app, if I navigate to YouTube Music > Library > Songs and select a song to play, it plays that song as expected. The difference is, that on iOS (both iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPad Pro), it ONLY plays that one song and stops, however on Android it continues to work it’s way down the song list automatically which is what I would expect. Is there a setting to enable “next” to play in iOS? In iOS, a PLAYLIST continues with the next song as expected as does in Android.

Has Sonos restored the ability to add songs to an existing playlist? And can new playlists be created and songs added? 

Hooray! I seem to have my playlists back but no album Artwork, however it does show next to the tracks but not in the main heading space 🤔

Upgraded MacOS to Sequoia and Sonos stopped working. Here is the manner in which I was able to get it working again:Sequoia 15.x.x (in my case 15.3.1) Download / Install latest app from Sonos website Check the following settings before launching the app: Open System Settings Network Firewall Options Make sure Sonos connections are set to “allow incoming connections” Privacy & Security Local Network Make sure Sonos is enabled Start Sonos App If the app can’t detect the Sonos System Reset the Sonos Controller, which forces you to setup the system as if it were for the first time When the app recognizes the Sonos system, if it cannot access the music library that needs to be re-shared: Share your music folder in MacOSOpen System Settings.
