I cannot believe that the app has still not resolved basic functionality and is so slow in response times. I am sick to death of apologists telling me it's my connectivity. It is not; Sonos seem prioritising rollingout new features as pose to resolving essential issues such as stop, start, volume variation etc. Luckily I still managed to protect the old app on my PC, and this works like clockwork. However, the moment I use the new app you want to smash your he'd against a wall after 5 minutes waiting for it to respond. I would ask that the Sonos plants in these threads don't start telling it's my wifi. It isn't.

I hired Best Buy to update my Sonos system which has been broken since April or May.  By broken, I mean that there is no old or new version that meshes with Windows 11 version 26100.3037.  Is Sonos assisting them in at least getting my digitized albums to create the catalog by browsing to my music folder and updating my system?  Further, is there currently any ability to play my music?

I have a problem, as soon as I listen to a song and I want to turn on the radio linked to this song, the radio titles change every second without having time to listen to them.

As in the subject, I have a spotify Premium Duo Account.Sonos in logged with user1, if I start streaming a Playlist from Spotify user1, every goes fine except that if I start listening with same user1 from another device, Sonos stops playing.Sonos neetwork is 4 Symfonsyk speakers Secondly, if the I starts streming a spotify user2 playlist, the streaming is interruptes ciclically by spotify advertisements like a free account). I user2 plays from spotify app there’s no any advertisments, correctly. How Can I do to solve?

Hi All, This seems to be a bug in the latest Sonos Update.it is really annoying as it defeats the purpose of having Sonos, it normally works fine on any station saved to My Tuner Radio (including BBC stations).All stations won’t play, it seems other users have the same fault. I have tried all the usual stuff (uninstall/reinstall the app, remove and add myTuner Radio as a service), fault remains.Sonos please supply a fix in next update so I can play a radio station via MyTuner Radio.Please help Urgently!Thanks, KJ

What do I do to play the music in my iTunes library on my Sonos connect? I’ve set sharing on the iTunes but after that I’m stuck. Read stuff about setting file pathways and stuff but franking it’s baffling.

I’ve had my same Orbi network for many years with the same sonos speakers for over a year without any issues.  Recently in the last month, speakers would pop in and out of the iphone app.  Same for my ipad.  I would try reconnecting it and it would be missing again.  I haven’t changed anything with my setup or network.  I’m guessing it was something that is happening on Sono’s end.  Can someone please offer a fix?  It’s so frustrating that I’m ready to abandon the entire Sonos ecosysytem all together.  I’ve been a customer since the very beginning but this is getting ridiculous.  Maybe we need to bring back the bridge.  I’m not willing to spend another dime on another Sonos device.

Before Sonos updated to the new app, the current music album cover would display in full-screen. However, with the new app, this feature has been removed, and the album cover now appears much smaller. Is there any way to bring this feature back in the new app?

How do I turn off the ads in the Sonos app?  This can’t be done from the app?  It’s supposed to be possible on the website, but I’ve followed some of the instructions I found in other threads and apparently the website has changed and the instructions don’t apply.  Thanks for making this unnecessarily difficult.  Nothing says We Have No respect For Our Customers like “bravely” releasing a terrible app, then using it to serve unwanted ads to people who have already paid hundreds or thousands of dollars for your products.  Complete failure to read the room, Sonos.

I recently added a Google Nest WiFi Pro mesh system to my house.   Immediately after doing so the Sonos app on my Apple MacBook Air (2022 model) started saying:“Your computer’s firewall setting has changed.   Your Sonos controller can no longer connect to your Sonos system.”The thing is, my phone app still works just fine.   I can play music on multiple speakers all over the house just like normal.  So it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the mesh network - rather something with the MacBook app vs. the iPhone app.   Any ideas for a fix?   It sure is nice to flip through songs from my laptop while working vs. reaching in my pocket for the phone every time. Thanks!

Some of my playlists dissapeared. How do i get them back since i worked on them for years.  

Help! My Iphone16 Pro can’t seem find and control our Sonos Play:1 speakers. Weirdly it did work for about 10 minutes before it then dropped out and disconnected.Iphone 16 ProiOS 18.1Router: BT Home Hub 5 Checks I’ve done:I can access and control the system via the Web Browser app. I have installed and reinstalled the iPhone Sonos app I have checked that the iPhone Sonos app is up to date I have instructed app to ‘forget current system’ and then reconnect to system The Sonos software is up to date I was sat right next to the wifi router and the sonos speaker whilst undertaking these checks and installations My husband can still control the speakersIssuesI can successfully connect to the system App also has successfully reconnected to streaming services But the Sonos App won’t list and display speakers. I’ve been gifted two Sonos speakers, I don’t know which type they are and I’m unable to set them up. They need to be set up with the Ethernet cables and I can see one of them available on the Sonos app but it keeps saying to log out and back in all the time. As soon as I unplug the Ethernet cable the speaker stops working. Does it need to be connected to use? Thanks. 

I’ve been using YouTube music for years on my Sonos system. I have a paid premium subscription. Recently I’m finding that it simply won’t play what I choose to play. It thinks about it for about 5 seconds, then loads a previous playlist that I was listening to. However, it’s temperamental, and will sometimes work normally…..which is very frustrating. I’ve added the Spotify service, which I don’t pay for, and it works perfectly. Sonos Radio also works perfectly. Definitely a YouTube music problem. I’ve contacted Sonos support, and they were o help in this case. I can use YouTube music perfectly fine with blue tooth or in my car. Just a Sonos/Youtube music issue. Has anyone come across this?

Hi allUpdated iOS app this morning to 80.16.32 and we can no longer group speakers, getting a little need to update banner.When trying to update it just spins and eventually get an error page, but with no error codeFollowing steps to unplug Ethernet, reboot router, reboot switch, unplug and plug in again all speakers, uninstall app, reinstall app, restart phones etc all do nothing at all.Anyone else have this and any suggestions on how to resolve please?UK support isn’t open over weekend so kinda stuck.Cheers 

I had my Era connected with no problem to my system. with no change to anything, the system dropped (not connected) my Eras 100 and I had to disconnect from the power and reconnect. It worked for a about 15 minutes but then it disconnected again. Now it wont connect after Eras hard reset, network reset, and attempt to reconnect. Sonos app does not have a remove speaker option (blows me away that such a basic function is not available).I believe the software has glitched and the Eras is “stuck” and it wont allow me to reinstall it. Its the BedroomMy system: iphone 

I'm getting a new, intermittent but frequent bug where I get the Something Went Wrong error when trying to play an album from local library. The remedy seems to be to hit play on the first song on the album, rather than the play button on the album page itself. Doesn't seem to be an issue when streaming via Deezer though. 

Is there a way to edit my current playlist? More specifically, I am trying to change the order of songs, or delete individual songs. That used to be possible on the prior App version but has disappeared in the new one.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of previous playlists. My daughter had family Spotify of which I was part but we have now moved over to Apple Music (Spotify account has been deleted). Unfortunately, I didn’t remove my playlists. They are now greyed out and I don’t know how to get rid of them. Can anyone help.   

Is anyone els still not able to set an alarm of any kind on the app? It lets you set it up then your check back and it’s gone….yes everything is up to date. It’s been MONTHS since the alarms disappeared they are bound to have a fix 

The app is unable to play anything from YT Music. Standard "try again later" or "check your internet connection" rubbish..It plays SoundCloud just fine but is unable to connect to YT Music. I somehow managed to remove my account but am now unable to re-add it (because I need to check my internet connection!)Anyone else experiencing the same?(Nothing's changed in my environment)

I have used Sonos products for over a decade. Always happy and always recommend the product. Sonos screwed up the app in 2024 and have still not fixed it. Unbelievable.
