I’ve got Apple music as a service. Some of my tracks are randomly greyed out now in playlists. They are fully available in Apple Music and play fine in iTunes from the same playlist. I do NOT have any parental crap turned on inside the Sonos app. I’ve dropped and re-added the Apple Music service in Sonos.Still greyed out tracks. My brother has a similar system and is noticing the same crap.Any solution?

Sonos Play 1 not connecting on either Sonos app.it is on the network and via Alexa app can play no problem. Why can Alexa work it yet Sonos says not found after it identifies the speaker and serial number??!connected with Ethernet cable but had to unplug to move so back to square 1.In set up unable to join Sonos messagetried older app just the same.def connected to Wi-fi network excellent signal tried off and oning everything.During set up identifies play one and serial number but then all else fails.during set up no Sonos Wi-fi ifs generated.used to work fine on the S 2 app now very frustrating and turning me off buying any more sonos products quite frankly as wasting hours trying to set this up again.

Hi, we've noticed over this past few weeks that during bbc radio broadcasting on our Sonos system the stream periodically repeats 30-60 seconds of output, any ideas what could be causing this?

Up until now I have been able to use my Synology NAS music folder as my Sonos Library. However, I have just upgraded my NAS set up to a model DS220+ and am now, so far, unable to get my Sonos to establish a connection and am getting the dreaded “Unable to add the music share ……. to your music library (900)”.Any suggestions please ?The new NAS uses the btrfs storage system. Could this be my problem ? 

I have five Sonos speakers and everything worked beautifully until about a month or so ago.  Anytime I want to play any of the music on my iMac hard drive I will get a message that either “music is not encoded properly”, access to music is denied, or if I am able to get something to play it now skips like crazy and is not listenable.  I spent two hours with Sonos tech support rebooting routers, computers, and reconfiguring settings only to get to the point where they will look into it and e-mail me if they come up with a solution.  I reloaded the app and re-indexed the music library and that didn’t fix anything.  BTW, when I play the music from the JRiver software on my computer it has no problems.  Also, when I play music from SiriusXM or Pandora through Sonos there are no problems.I have over 300GB of music on my computer and would love to have the flexibility to play it wherever I want in my house.  Sonos gave me that flexibility until recently.  I really hope this can be resolved a

Playlist from Pandora being denied. Plays on my phone but not through Sonos. 

I used to have Pandora playing different stations in different rooms of my house for years., but I started getting the “someone else is listening to you account” recently. I have a family account. I am not trying to stream from different locations or with different interfaces (phone, computer, sonos) with the same user. I am only using Sonos. I emailed Pandora about this and their response was that it was a bug and that they have since fixed it. Only one stream is allowed. Grouped speakers can play the same stream, but you cannot play different streams in different rooms. This is highly disappointing and annoying to me. Do other services allow Sonos to play different streams in different rooms?

Hello!I have half a dozen playlists, originally made in iTunes, that disappeared when we transferred the music library onto a separate storage unit (NAS).The funny thing is that Sonos still sees them and we can play them by choosing them in ‘imported playlists’. The NAS music library is the only source for the Sonos, and yet we cannot find these playlists on the NAS ourselves!What I really want to do is to find these playlists on the NAS, so that I can re-import them back into iTunes.Can someone clever please point me in the right direction, all my online searches on this topic only throw up irrelevant results for this situation!Thanks in advance!

For the past few days I cannot reliably connect to SiriusXM on any of the apps (Phone, iPad, Mac desktop).  When I browse for SiriusXM channels I get messages like “unable to connect..” and sometimes “unable to play.. not encoded correctly” or “digital rights management … encoding not supported”.   On a couple of occasions the music will start and play for a few seconds, then the “connection lost” message will appear.   I have rebooted the Network and killed/restarted the Apps. I have also removed and then re-added the SiriusXM account to my Sonos - none of these have fixed the problem.   I checked the on-line Sonos status - and that shows that SirisuXM is up and running with no problems.   I don’t have any problem playing SiriusXM from their native App on my phone - so this problem appears to be limited to Sonos.   Any advice?

I am a member of YouTube Music and I have successfully added the service to my Sonos app in Android.However, when I try to play music from YouTube Music it is showing a message that access is denied. Please help. Thank you.

I recently bought a new MAC and updated to S2 in Sonos.  My music library consisted of CDs that I ripped into iTunes and LPs that I digitized and downloaded into iTunes.  All these wma4 files are kept in one main folder on an external hard drive.  I was able to connect S2 to the library but the songs that I digitized myself are not connected to their artists or to their album titles; there’s just a long list of songs that are listed alphabetically.  What do I have to do to get S2 to recognize the tracks in the format that I need to make them playable in a useful way?  I’ve contacted both Apple and Sonos Tech Support but neither of them were any help, both saying that it wasn’t their problem.

I use the Calm app every night to help my son drop off to sleep. Tonight Sonos said it was unable to browse the Calm app. I removed the app service and tried adding it again. I was asked to authorise the app by signing in (I was already signed into the paid for version of the app). The sign in page just kept looping and wouldn’t accept my login. Each time it took the login it then recycled to the blank login page and Sonos said it was unable to add the service. Any ideas?

I’ve seen a couple of older posts on this topic with no apparent resolution, so not holding my breath but hoping there’s a hack to get this working:I run MediaMonkey version 4, which can act as a UPnP server.  I have that enabled, and can “see” the server in my Sonos system, and access its content.  Problem is, in the Sonos app (S2 on android tablet) when you pull up an album or a playlist - anything with more than one track - you can only select one at a time to add to the play queue.  There is no option to select “play now” for anything except a single track.  Obviously not a useful user interface.Yes, there are other ways to skin this cat (e.g. replace the MediaMonkey server with the Sonos app on the computer with the music library), but then I lose direct access to the playlists in MM.  So would really like to get this working, and can’t believe someone hasn’t figured this out…Any info appreciated!

I am having trouble searching songs using Deezer through the SONOS S1 app. This happens in either the mobile or PC apps. Other services like Spotify seem to be working fine.Search with other services like Spotify seems to be working fine I installed the service, have all my playlists and can browse all my songs.Can browse in deezer. It looks ok and works However, when I try to search for a specific artist or song I get a message saying “there was a problem searching, please try again”When searching in deezer I get an error message Any one is having the same problem?I already tried resetting the controller, changing the country in both the SONOS and deezer accounts. Sometimes after I change the country, the search service works but for a short period of time. Thanks in advance  

So I got a bunch of IKEA Sonos Speakers and I can simply not use them. The software is a huge big bug.How do you guys get you speakers to play anything at all, let alone the song you wish at the speaker you wish?Why is it after 7months STILL not possible to sync a premium youtube account to Sonos, it keeps asking for a premium account!!!Silly silly software, this is a shame as the speakers are of descent quality for the price. With the small hitch you can not use them. I’ve sent many many buy reports via the app, registers for beta program, keep asking for support but no, filled out many many of these feedback sheets about things not working, nothing all quiet not a beep from Sonos.

I bought my Sonos to specifically play music from a NAS where I have stored all my CDs/music. The internet radio is a welcome bonus. This system has worked well for probably over two years and provides a great sound in the kitchen where I tend to spend much of my time. Suddenly the Sonos refuses to connect to the NAS. I have a Sonos One, Beam & Move. All are run from wifi.I have always had issues with wifi and connecting to my Move. For this reason, I bought a tp-link to give a better signal on the ground floor of my house. Since this, the connections have been brilliant.However, I recently started using Amazon Prime as a streaming service. I added this successfully to my Sonos app and started streaming. The 1st occasion that I used the service, it worked well for about 30 minutes and then just stopped. I got the dreaded ‘Unable to connect to Sonos’ message and after switching off and on managed to obtain a connection. I thought that this was just a glitch so ignored it. However, this has now happened every time that I have streamed using Amazon. Everything works perfectly well to start with and then after an arbitrary time (usually between 30 and 60 minutes) it simply stops.This morning whilst I was using the service, I checked my app to find the ‘cannot connect to Sonos’ message on my phone wh

Every day I am receiving the Sonos App errror message on my iPhone of “Unable to play Pandora access is denied”.  Each day I have to re-athorize my Pandora account to correct this issue.  Can SONOS please tell me why I have to re-authorize every day, this is such a hassle.

Just upgraded my Mac and Sonos can no longer play my music on the Mac, says it is incorrectly coded! I’ve managed the library and it’s giving an error on importing playlists from iTunes too.  has anyone seen this and has a fix? Thanks 

Every time I use Pandora on my Sonos system, it requires me to re-authorize my account. I have deleted and reinstalled the app.Nothing seems to solve this issue. Can you please help resolve this issue?

For years I have had issues with larger playlists, between 2500 and under 10000 songs and still have not had any solutions from Sonos support. This became a problem after an update years ago and never was fixed.  Fast forward to now, and using the latest equipment like the Move, the system still chokes when trying to load an Apple Music playlist. When trying to play the playlist, I usually receive a 1002 error. Sometimes after a couple minutes, the music becomes available. When trying to add the playlist to a Sonos playlist, I get another error of unable to add music.  The answers I get from support have always been ridiculous: reboot, reconnect, disconnect, it’s your network’s fault….blah blah blah. But I have some very complex and demanding media systems running on my network, and they all work fine. The only thing that chokes, EVER, is Sonos. Will they ever resolver this issue?

Hello,I’ve had my Sonos for about four years and they’ve been working fine and I love them. I have had trouble with the app which my partner set up. He couldn’t remember his password so I set up my own and transferred them over to mine. I’m having trouble connecting them. I plugged them into my Wi-Fi and I connected them but As soon as I take the internet cable out they both disconnect. I have googled it and it says to set them up to wireless. I’ve gone on my network on the app and it doesn’t say anything about making them wireless. There is 3 wireless channels I’ve tried them all and as soon as I disconnect from the Internet they disappear from my app. I have been using these Sonos wireless for years so I know that they do work wirelessly. My partner can’t remember how he set them up so I’m really struggling To know what to do. It’s a lot Of money to waste if I can’t fix them. Please please help with any information that may help. Anyone else experiencing indexation issue with music library (unknown error) after upgrading iMac from Big Sur 11.2.3 to 11.3?  When trying to play music will get music not properly coded.  Was working perfectly fine with Big Sur 11.2.3.
